Dr. Mojgan Niktash has many years of experience in family and cosmetic dentistry and is a graduate of McGill University (a top Canadian university in Montreal) with in-depth dental work experience both in the United States and Canada. Founder and CEO of Paradise Dental Practice What brings me to work every day is the passion of getting to know new people and contributing to their well-being. What I have loved about my job as a dentist over the past sixteen years is the confidence that my patients have given me by allowing me to provide them with personal and professional care. I received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from McGill University, one of the top dental schools in Canada, in 1998. Then, I moved to California to further pursue my dental career. After obtaining my California Dental License, I joined a dental group in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I had the opportunity to work in the area of cosmetic and general dentistry. I am also a member (with good standing) of the following dental associations:
My philosophy is based upon the desire to provide state-of-the-art, high-quality dentistry in a warm and friendly environment. My skilled practice team shares the same philosophy and completes my mission in serving our patients with care and love. Work does not feel like work because we have fun doing something that we are good at. Serving you and your family as our own is our mission. I strongly believe in conservative and preventive dentistry that will enable each patient to maintain their teeth and oral health for a lifetime. I am excited and proud to be able to continue my work in dentistry here in Orange County, where I live with my playful 15-year-old son and lovely husband. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loving family and together exploring the beautiful California West Coast. Besides the art of dentistry, my other passion is oil painting on canvas. I have had the privilege of managing my own business for the past twelve years. I take pride in having been able to create a warm and friendly environment for my patients and staff. I have strived to constantly improve upon and update my knowledge in the field of dentistry by attending various post-graduate seminars and study clubs in all aspects of cosmetic and general dentistry.
Associate Dentist at Paradise Dental Practice Dr. Etemad has been practicing dentistry since 2008. She received her dental degree from the University of Pittsburg School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Etemad completed her postdoctoral training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
She started her career in academics, teaching restorative dentistry as a faculty member at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. She was also codirector of the residency program at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Etemad has been practicing dentistry over 10 years. She has also completed the Aesthetic Continuum certificate from UCLA.
Associate Specialist at Paradise Dental Practice Dr. Joseph Yang earned his Bachelor of Science at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Subsequently, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
Upon graduating, he began his 25-year career as a U.S. Navy dental officer. During his Navy career, Dr. Yang was chosen for full-time out-service residency in periodontology at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Afterward, he was selected to serve on staff and as program director at Bethesda Naval Medical Center for their periodontology residency program. During his long Navy career, he received numerous personal commendations and awards.
Dr. Yang is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, as well as a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, California Society of Periodontics, California Dental Association and San Diego County Dental Society. Dr. Yang is frequently invited to lecture and train other dental professionals worldwide in the latest implant and periodontic procedures.
As the lead Dental Assistant, I maintain the back office. I enjoy assisting Dr. Niktash during each procedure and containing and positive environment with the back office standing and organized. My favorite hobbies are anything involved outdoors and of course I love watching sports and movies.

5 stars for Paradise Dental. My experience with dr. Niktash and with the staff was really good. They are highly professional and caring people. I had multiple appointments with them and they have taken really good care of mine. I surely recommend this place.

My first experience with Paradise dental practice was fantastic. Dr. Niktash and her staff, Hani and Boris are amazing and so caring. I am so happy with the results of all the dental care I received! I'm giving more than five stars to Dr. Niktash. I called Dr. Niktash's office for an emergency appointment, and fortunately, she was able to see me right away. She looked at the "hole" in the back of my front tooth crown, and she said, do not worry, "I can fix it right away. All of a sudden, I felt relief! She repaired the tooth perfectly fine. Since then, I have no pain, and my tooth even better than before. The front desk staff is by far the best I have ever experienced. Dr. Niktash, You are the best dentist and a wonderful and caring Woman. Thank you for All you do!

Dr. Niktash and her staff made me feel comfortable with dental procedures again. With COVID, I had postponed my dental cleaning that I usually receive in Mexico for an entire year. I called her office and the staff was able to get me a quick appointment the next day. Of course upon entering my temperature was taken along with a thorough oral rinse for extra safety. All procedures/ prices were discussed prior to being done. They also had a flat screen on the ceiling for entertainment and the cleaning was generally painless. I will continue to see her for my dental issues.

Dr. Niktash did a wonderful job. I had a checkup, x-rays, cleaning, filling replaced, and my retainers re-glued. The process was painless and she worked with me until my bite felt normal. She's very kind and welcoming. The staff is very friendly, professional, and positive. They processed my insurance over the phone before I arrived (which made the appointment smooth and easy), and let me pick a show to watch on Netflix during the process. The office is calm and tranquil and located close to the freeway for easy access. Highly recommend.

Great Doctor, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Dr Niktash is very good with diagnosis and the treatment options. She is caring and thorough. It didn't feel like that I was getting my teeth done. I've had bad experience with dentist before and it made me uncomfortable to see a dentist. She made me feel comfortable. The best experience I've ever had! Thank you Dr Niktash!
