Dr. Allar and the Allar Orthodontics team are fantastic. I'm in my 30's and was self-conscious about my teeth and my bite for years; I had an underbite and crossbite. Other orthodontists previously told me that either jaw surgery would be required to properly fix my bite and teeth, or, that braces would strictly straighten my teeth without actually fixing my bite and alignment. Some Ortho's were also not confident that clear aligners could be used for my case, which was a drawback for me in starting a treatment. Upon doing some research online for orthodontists that have expertise in bite correction, I came across Dr. Allar's practice - and they have delivered. Relative to my home and work locations, I drive a much further distance than many other orthodontist options I could choose, specifically for the treatment and expertise from Dr. Allar and her team. At about 15 months into my treatment, I am coming down the home stretch and my smile already looks better than I could have expected, and it was well improved even after just 9-12 months. The treatment has been with clear aligners and rubber bands and has been very inconspicuous, which is what I was looking for as an adult professional. I am so thankful for the improvement and results. Thank you very much to Dr. Allar and the team!

Our first visit was supposed to be a consultation however, our 8 year old daughter went home in braces that day. We are so grateful that her treatment was started immediately as we have seen amazing progress in correcting her underbite. 20 years ago, when I was having mine corrected, surgery was the only option. We are thankful that our child doesn't have to endure that. Today, with phase one complete, the braces came off! It is bittersweet as we absolutely love this office, the staff, and of course Dr. Allar. They've all made our daughter feel so comfortable and special. We would highly recommend this practice! Dr. Allar became my orthodontist in the middle of my treatment when Dr. Paquette retired. Transitions are tough and I have been in braces longer than I anticipated, but I truly benefited from Dr. Allar finishing my plan. She listened carefully to my concerns and tweaked my bite until we were both completely satisfied. I am grateful for her patience and care. She is excellent at her profession and we are lucky to have her here in Mooresville. I highly recommend Dr. Allar and her staff.

I've gotten my braces at this place and while it wasn't the most fun thing, it has been quick and easy and I'm scheduled to get my braces off after just a year and a half! They also give you ice cream when you are finished.
