Upon graduation Dr. Papandreas headed to the University of Illinois School of Engineering, ranked consistently as one of the top programs in the country. There he earned a combined degree in mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering. He was presented with the James F. Lincoln Arc Welding Award for Outstanding Achievement in Academic Engineering Research, awarded membership in the Gamma Epsilon Engineering Honors Fraternity, and consistently made the Engineering Deans List.
With a hope of blending a technical background with healthcare, Dr. Papandreas continued his education at Loyola University School of Dentistry, known as a leader nationally in clinical dentistry. He ranked #1 academically in his dental class for four consecutive years. In addition to the honor of Summa Cum Laude, he was awarded the Frank M. Amaturo Award for Highest GPA Omicron Kappa Upsilon Fraternity, the Department of Dental Materials Scholastic Award, the Chicago Auxiliary Dental Society Scholarship Award for Highest Academic Achievement, and the Alpha Sigma Nu National Jesuit Honor Society Award for Academic Excellence. A specialty degree in orthodontics at Baylor University in Dallas became the obvious union of engineering and dental backgrounds. Specialty Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics requires the pursuit of excellence not only in the human sciences but in the mechanical sciences as well.
Dr. Papandreas is the founder and director of the Ohio Academy of Interdisciplinary and Dentofacial Therapy (OAIDT), a member-led professional cooperative education organization. OAIDT advances the scope of total patient care through advanced learning, shared knowledge, and interdisciplinary study and techniques. Member doctors come from area general and specialty practices across the dental and medical spectrum. They meet monthly to exchange ideas, demonstrate new methods of care delivery, and hear state-of-the-art presentations from national and world-renown speakers. Dr. Papandras is also the founder of Northeast Ohios Smile for a Lifetime Foundation which gives disadvantaged children an opportunity for free orthodontic care.

Betsy brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to our office. As our Financial Coordinator she is eager to spend one-on-one time answering your questions and making each of our patients and their families feel at ease. She has been an integral part of the Papandreas Orthodontics team since 2003.

Kristine joined the Papandreas Orthodontics team in 2009. She is a graduate of the dental assisting and radiology program at Cuyahoga Community College. As our Clinic Administrator and senior chair-side assistant she makes certain that you are comfortable, informed and engaged throughout your treatment process.
Kristine combines her orthodontic knowledge and skill with warmth and quick wit to instantly put our patients at ease. She relishes the opportunity to get to know our practice families and be a part of their lives. Her focus on empowering confident smiles and increased self-esteem is at the heart of our mission to provide the highest level of specialty Orthodontics for each of our patients within a caring environment!
I realized I was interested in dentistry when at 9 years old I started going to work with my Aunt who was in the profession. The patients needed her help and they did everything as a team, always finishing with a smile on their face. This was my inspiration!
I went to school at North Royalton High School and with hard work was able to study dentistry at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center. The center had an amazing teacher who lead me to an amazing orthodontic practice. What I love most about being at Papandreas Orthodontics is the ability to see the progress of spectacular smiles while visiting with my patients at the chair. Outside of the office I love being outside and enjoying nature!
My interest in dentistry started 7 years ago, when I was a patient of Dr. Papandreas! His aligner treatment gave me confidence Ive never had. What I love most about being a part of the Papandreas Orthodontics team is seeing patients reactions right after their removals.
Its been the biggest pleasure to see patients who were just like me, struggling with their smile, come out in the end happy and confident. When Im out of the office, I enjoy spending time with my 2 young daughters, & my dog. I also love nurturing my house plants, watching Marvel movies, listening to music and spending weekends with family & friends!
I live in Chippewa Lake, Ohio. When Im not at work I love to be with friends, family, and my pets. I also love going to Edgewater Beach when its nice out. My favorite time of the year is Fall because of Halloween.
