We have been serving your complex Endodontic needs since 1994 when Dr. Samuel Kratchman opened our first office in Exton. Today, each of our three offices has four operatories, fully equipped with the latest technological advances in the field. Microscopes, digital radiography, and 3D imaging are all part of our daily practice.
Our five doctors -- Sam Kratchman, Kenneth Lee, Allen Yang, Ameir Eltom and Lindi Orlin -- bring more than 60 years of experience to Chester County, Pennsylvania. They are all graduates of the Endodontics program at The University of Pennsylvania, where they currently hold part-time faculty positions. This creates a professional environment in which everyone is on the same page at the forefront of the academic world, while still each maintaining unique ways to treat patients.
When you visit our practice, you will be welcomed by our caring staff and treated by friendly doctors who are dedicated to patients quality of care. We even have soothing background music that provides a stress-free, relaxing and comforting atmosphere. Endodontics is the root of what we do. The only thing, in fact. Dr. Sam Kratchman was born and raised in New York. He received both a B.S. in Biology and a D.M.D. from Tufts University in Boston. Sam then entered The University of Pennsylvania, where he received a Certificate of Endodontics.
A prominent leader in his field, Dr. Kratchman currently teaches at U. Penn as an Associate Professor of Endodontics, and he is the Assistant Director of Graduate Endodontics, in charge of the microsurgical portion of the program. He frequently lectures on several Endodontic topics throughout the United States, Europe, South America, Canada and Asia.
Dr. Kratchman has authored several articles and chapters on Endodontics, and has co-authored the textbook of Endodontic Microsurgery with Dr. Kim in 2017. He also developed a patented instrument called the S Kondenser for the obturation of root canals. Both Main Line Today and Doctor of Dentistry magazines honored Dr. Kratchman as the cover story for their 'Best of' issues.
Most recently, in 2021, we added a 4th location in Bryn Mawr. We have been serving your Endodontic needssince 1994 in our Exton office, since 2008 in our West Chester office,and since 2017 in our Paoli office.

BEWARE!!! I chose Endodontist Dr. Lindi Orlin because I was impressed by her UPenn dental training but my experience serves as a reminder that we shouldn't put so much blind respect on Ivy League training. I went in for a root canal in September '22. This crazy dentist ACTUALLY looked away (while having a conversation with an office worker) from my mouth WHILE she had a dental drill (IN USE) in my mouth!! As she "performed" the root canal she was distracted while talking about Netflix shows to her assistant. Maybe all of this lack of attention made her NEGLIGENT in placing enough root canal sealer (which is placed over the gutta-percha) in my tooth which LEAD TO MY MOLAR CRACKING!!! A responsible Endodontist will place a temporary crown over the tooth that has undergone a root canal to prevent the tooth from fracturing but I did NOT get one with Dr. Lindi Orlin. I could tell after leaving the office that my tooth felt too hollow but thought hopefully it would last until I got my crown. I guess not. I should've known when they had appointments available all day something was wrong with this office. I would NOT recommend this office.

Dr. Yang, his staff Clarissa and Payton are all outstanding. If you're looking for treatment with no pain at all, professional staff and modern treatment...this is it.

My general dentist recommended a tooth extraction but seemed hesitant so I came here. After a 3D scan, Dr. Orlin recommended surgery which would save the tooth. The scan is expensive but it could save you a tooth and the cost of an implant.

Went for a consultation of my infected tooth. Dr sent me to an oral surgeon but said that I did not need an antibiotic as my abscess was draining. Yep-went to have the tooth removed and the oral surgeon was shocked that they didn't prescribe me an antibiotic. If you have an infection and go to Paoli Endo advocate for yourself to get an antibiotic. I have to wait another month while my oral surgeon prescribed amoxicillin

April 15, 2022 appt with Dr. Orlin. I encountered a new medical assistance that could not place a sensor properly. My cheek is still very sore and I have issue chewing and biting my cheek. I went back to my dentist 3X and the crown looks good. My mouth is miserable from the "Pushing" of the sensor at least 5X. I won't be back to your office- your assistant was not properly trained. And, now I live with this! I have never encountered this kind of pain at a dentist office.

Leading-edge equipment, efficiency is A+, and Dr. Kenneth Lee has a wonderful chairside presence. A root canal isn't known as a pleasant experience, but Dr. Lee put me at ease and now I can attest to you that there is no reason to be anxious.

I have always been a patient who is fearful of dentists, and root canals in particular. I went today for my root canal and it was flawless. I have always required gas and today I asked Dr. Lindi if she thought I needed it? She told me she didn't think so but it was there if I needed it. She explained everything she did each step of the way. She was gentle, caring and simply fabulous. I had so much anxiety and had no idea that it was going to be this easy, I will never go to anyone again but Dr. Lindi because she made my experience perfect. Thank you for relieving the worst tooth pain, getting me out of agony and making the experience flawless. You and your staff were fabulous from the first call to the end of the procedure! Thank you.
