Dr. Serrano graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology. She spent over five years researching the cause of canker sores under Dr. Lorena Baccaglini. She then attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. In addition to her training, Dr. Serrano continues her education as a resident/member of the Dawson Academy. This academy has taught her that dentistry is not a one-size-fits-all- it is an art and each person is unique. Her practice goes beyond the teeth and gums. She takes the time to look at how the oral system works as a whole.
Dr. Serrano spends hundreds of hours of continuing education each year to bring her patients exceptional esthetic and restorative dentistry. Currently, she is working on pursuing a fellowship in General Dentistry. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Colorado Dental Association, and the Junior League of Denver. Dr. Serrano is a caring and compassionate doctor who is committed to addressing each of her patients needs and concerns. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. When Dr. Serrano is away from the office she enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and their family. They all spend countless hours enjoying food, music, books, and the outdoors.
Dr. Bandekar was born and raised in Mumbai the home of Indian cinema. She received her initial degree, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S), at the prestigious Nair Hospital and Dental College. She practiced in Mumbai for three years and then decided to further her education overseas.
Her first home in the United States was Denver, Colorado. She studied at the Anschutz medical campus where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Colorado School of dental medicine. Work took her to Indianapolis and then Boston after graduation, but the mountains brought her back to Denver.
She loves the surgical artistry that is dentistry. She believes it is necessary to have a strong foundation and then build up that knowledge with all the dental advancements available now. Shes graduated with honors from the AAID Maxicourse and is on her path to becoming a fellow in Implantology. Shes a certified Invisalign provider.
She strives to advance her dental knowledge with frequent education and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, the American Academy of Implantology, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Georgann Apgar is a periodontist and implant surgeon with a proven track record of helping patients obtain oral health for over 30 years. She takes pride in providing the best possible care to her patients. Her goals for her patients are a clear understanding of their condition(s), their therapeutic option(s) available, educating and helping them obtain their dental health goal(s); and most importantly, providing them with quality, state of the art, therapies to achieve their desired outcomes.
Dr. Apgar attended the University of Rochester for her undergraduate degree, then went on to Boston University for her dental (DMD) and post doctorate specialty education in periodontology (CAGS). She had her own practice in Chevy Chase, Maryland from 1991-2013. She has helped develop dental / periodontal therapies as well as beta tested periodontal therapeutic materials. She is certified in LANAP periodontal surgical therapies. She also lectured for local dental societies in the Greater Washington DC metro area.
Dr. Apgar moved back to Colorado with her husband of 30 years and her 2 children in 2013. Dr. Apgar has continued her continuing dental education in her field of specialty and has worked part time since returning to her native state. When she is not practicing you can find her skiing, hiking or just spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Salman was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. His initial dental training was at the University of Baghdad where he received a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S).Afterwards, He completed a one-year general practice residency at Cairo University Hospital in Egypt.
After a couple of years practicing as a general dentist, he decided to continue his educational journey in the United States where he obtained a second dental degree (D.D.S) from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. During his time at the dental school, he was recognized for his passion and received an award for Excellence in Endodontics.
After practicing in the Denver metro area as a general dentist his passion towards Endodontics lead him to pursue a postgraduate training at the University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. He received a certificate of specialty in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D). During his residency, Dr. Salman received the postgraduate OKU clinical excellence day award for his 1st place clinical presentation.
Dr. Salman is Board Eligible with the American Board of Endodontics. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Colorado Dental Association and the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society.

The dentist was very good. But the office staff dropped the ball when they failed to note the $1 referral promotion they offered me. This was a physical card given to me to refer others. They failed to note the discount and then billed my insurance $100 for my child's visit. When I brought this to their attention, the office manager refused to take responsibility for the clerical error and let me know that there was just nothing they could do for me since they had already billed my insurance for the visit and noted that they didn't see a $1 referral card so then what I was saying was incorrect. I was surprised and disappointed in how the front office spoke with me over the phone and completely disregarded their mistake and did not offer any solutions. I left this dentist because of bad business and bad customer service.

I'm very sensitive & have never liked going to the dentist. But this place makes me feel safe, comfortable, and considered! They hear you out & make sure you have the most comfortable experience. I hate needles in my mouth but I still had the best possible dental experience coming here!

In reading the other negative reviews about this dental practice, all I can say is there seems to be a scam going on here. If you don't mind shelling out thousands of dollars for dental work you don't need, then this is the practice for you. I have worked in dentistry - I ran a dental practice years ago here in Denver - and this dental office is engaging in bait and switch with their "New Patient" cleaning appointments. I was lied to about my dental health so I left before my cleaning was completed. Also, and as reported by other negative reviews below, the bitewings/x rays were super painful and my mouth was also torn up. I would pass on this dentist if I were you.

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst dental practice in Denver. I got a crown put on, the process took forever. I never had issues with that tooth before which was slightly cracked , after the crown the tooth was never the same. Was told the crown had a 4 year warranty. Crown cracked less than two years later and they refused to fix it. Don't believe anything they tell you, they do not follow through on there word.

Panorama dental, and especially Dr. Riya Bandekar, made my experience here so wonderful. Growing up I only went to one dentist, and subsequently had a bad experience the first time I went to another practice. I was a bit hesitant about what to expect my first time here, but everyone made it easy to feel at home and part of their community. Top notch treatment and really wonderful people. Will definitely be back!
