Dr. Mark Panneton graduated from Creighton University Dental School in 1987. He later completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Creighton University with a primary focus on oral surgery. For over 25 years, Dr. Panneton has practiced dentistry in the Sarpy County area and undergone extensive training in orthodontics, dental implants, and reconstructive dentistry.

Dr. Panneton is a strong believer that dental care isnt expensive, neglect is. Thats why hes dedicated to finding the most practical solutions to problems that affect the overall systemic health of his patients. Dr. Panneton established Panneton Dental Group with a patient-centered approach and an emphasis on aesthetics and reconstruction.

At his practice, Dr. Panneton uses sedation dentistry as an effective tool to fully construct a patients mouth in just two visits. Working alongside oral and plastic surgeons, Dr. Panneton has treated numerous patients involved in traumatic injuries and helped them achieve optimal dental health.

Dr. Elizabeth Sand was born and raised in Lakeville, Minnesota. She attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and later continued her education at the UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln, graduating in 2016.

Dr. Sand has worked and volunteered in many different health care areas, ultimately falling in love with dentistry. She uses her creative talents and nurturing personality to help change patients lives for the better. Whether shes relieving patients pain, designing their dream smile, or taking preventive measures, Dr. Sand has the necessary experience in each field of dentistry. Her extensive attention to detail has even helped detect an early onset of oral cancer!

Dr. Sand stays on top of new, cutting-edge dental techniques and technologies to provide patients with the best care possible. She hopes to conquer patients fear of dental work by providing a safe and comfortable environment. One of Dr. Sands favorite parts of dentistry is the bond shes able to build with her patients.

Dr. Sand enjoys quality time with her spouse, Travis, and her dog, Nino. They enjoy going on walks, camping, working out, and traveling. Dr. Sand has volunteered her clinical skills at Nebraska Mission of Mercy clinics and Lincolns People City Mission.

Dr. Sydney Burianek grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and UNMC College of Dentistry in 2021. Her aspirations to become a dentist began at the young age of six.

Dr. Burianek excelled in gymnastics, track, academics, and most importantly, developing relationships with people of all backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. Shes been on several mission trips around the world including Peru and Jamaica and looks forward to many others.

Her compassion, empathy, and attention to detail allow her to create personalized treatment plans for each patient and achieve their desired results. She loves to help transform patients smiles as well as change their lives. Dr. Burianek brings talent and warmth to our Omaha & La Vista practices. Shes excited to expand her knowledge on sedation dentistry and dental implants by continuing education courses and collaborating with Dr. Panneton.

Dr. Burianek happily lives in Omaha with her husband, Nick, and their two dogs, Dexter and Thor. Shes a self-proclaimed foodie and has been to over 600 restaurants. Dr. Burianek loves to travel, attend Husker and Creighton athletic events, and spend quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Leah Kreifels was born and raised in Huron, South Dakota. She attended The University of South Dakota where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2010. She practiced as a registered dental hygienist for 6 years. She then attended Midwestern University School of Dentistry where she graduated in 2020.

Dr. Kreifels is truly passionate about all things dentistry. She enjoys spending time getting to know her patients and what makes them unique. In return, she aims to create a positive dental experience as well as provide excellent individualized care to each person. She believes that oral health care is a critical component to a persons overall well-being and after being a hygienist for 6 years, she values the combined efforts amongst her team in contributing to the patients long-term health.

Dr. Kreifels is not shy when it comes to expanding her education. She is committed to lifelong learning and enjoys being of the first to learn the newest technologies to provide the best results for her patients.

Dr. Kreifels lives in Bellevue with her husband, Nate and their son Kai. During their free time, they can be found at the zoo, walking around their neighborhood and in the warmer months, spending time at the lake.

Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Nicole graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a bachelors degree in accounting. After graduation, she worked with a public accounting firm for 5 years before returning to Omaha where she was an internal auditor at Commercial Federal Bank.

In 2001, Dr. Panneton and Nicole were married and opened Val Verde Dental together and have been working side-by-side ever since. Together they have grown to two locations, four dentists and 22 staff members. In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with family, attending concerts and sporting events, watching her kids sporting events and spending time outside.
