A native of Florida, Dr. Golsen attended the University of Georgia, has a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a DMD from the Medical College School of Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Golsen was a clinical instructor at Perimeter College School of Dental Hygiene and an international trainer for Kreativ air abrasion technology training dentists from all over the world on the technology.
Dr. Golsen has hundreds of continuing education hours on topics from anterior and posterior cosmetics, implants, periodontal disease, laser dentistry, Botox, fillers, and occlusion. She has completed extensive hands-on courses with live patients. Pac-live, Hornbrook, Dawson, Spear Institute, Esthetic continuum, all taught by world leaders and the best in their fields.
A GACD member since 1995, Dr. Golsen was also the 2016 president of the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She has been serving on the board there for 6 years. Other membership organizations include the Hinman Dental Society, Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, Northern District Dental Society, AAID, AAFE, AASD.
Dr. Golsen has been practicing for 27 years in Alpharetta, Georgia. Dr. Golsen has two sons. One is a fourth year Vet Med student at the University of Georgia and the other is a junior in college. She is also a 10-year breast cancer survivor!
