PanCare of Florida's (a.k.a PanCareHealth's) clinical locations are Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) deemed facilities. Since its enactment in 1946, the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) has been the legal mechanism for compensating people who have suffered personal injury by the negligent or wrongful action of employees of the U.S. Government. Under Section 224 of the Public Health Service Act, as amended by the Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act of 1992 and 1995, employees of eligible health centers, such as PanCare of Florida, Inc., may be deemed to be federal employees qualified for protection under the FTCA. With PanCare of Florida's deemed status, the center is not liable for any settlements or judgments that are made under the FTCA. The Federal government assumes responsibility for these costs. Deemed health center program grantees are immune from medical malpractice lawsuits resulting from the performance of medical, surgical, dental, or related functions within the approved scope of practice. Deemed health centers such as PanCare of Florida must go through a rigorous application process annually to remain in this status. This process ensures the center is credentialing quality providers while maintaining high-quality measures allowing for affordable superior care for its patients.

Id give negative stars if I could. I make appointment for 4-6 months out. Then a few days before they call to reschedule appointment for another 4-6 months. Now I've done this for a few years and have still not been seen in probably 2ish years maybe longer. Same thing happens with my kids appointments. I hate this place so much, wait times are always so long, I've only had 1 gentle person the rest were Definitely not gentle and im not impressed. Wish more places took Medicaid cause this place is the worst ever. I don't recommend to anyone.

They are awesome! Better dental care and work than what I paid hundreds fir when I had money! And the staff, they are 5 star. Especially Heather and I save Clene, my hygienist for last. She is the bomb! Excellent at her job, friendly, well just plain wonderful, like family Can't say enough good things.

I have a horrible phobia of the dentist but not only were these guys professional and great at their work, and the prices affordable, but they were super friendly and really made me feel at home. In particular, Dr. Norton, Brandi, and Dominic were great.

I prefer PanCare over all other dental places I have been in Panama City. They're crystal clear when explaining their process. The doctors here are the most gentle on my teeth. Most wonderful customer service as well!

It's a shame that all these people are writing bad reviews. Not as many people will take the time to write good reviews and anyone who's worked in a medical facility KNOWS this. Yes, you have to wait for an appointment- if you don't like it THEN RAISE UOUR CHILD TO BE A DENTIST OR MOVE TO ANOTHER CITY! You people sound like babies! Pan care has taken care of me for years and YES I have MEDICAID. I just want to throw that out there before anyone tries to say "they don't care for they Medicaid patients" Bye !!

I tried to get an appt to get a tooth pulled because I'm in extreme pain. I went here bc they website said they do walk-ins. They obviously don't bc the lady said the soonest they could get me in was December. It's august. So I'm supposed to live 4 months with a broken tooth? What a joke.

Called me today to reschedule an appointment that was for tomorrow bc their provider wont be in office, rescheduled for their earliest convenience which is October.. for a filling. That is ridiculous. Not to mention how rude the assistants are. They really dont care about their patients.

This place is terrible. I scheduled an appointment and it's always a month or 2 away. Then when I go see the doctor I can't get an extraction or a teeth cleaning they wanna schedule me for next year, when I'm already having problems. The dentist telling me I need teeth pulled and makes it seem like it's so detrimental, but yet they'll schedule you six months to a year away. Isn't prolonging the procedure going to make the damage you already have worse. I don't know how they're still doing business. I've heard a lot of bad things about this place, but being pregnant and them accepting Medicaid you would think they would have it together frankly not. They deserve a 0.

this place is terrible how many bad reviews do you need for something to change how many people have to be turned away with pain or problems this just doesn't make any sense at all what is Florida or the government doing about it NOTHING 0 stars. No one should be having to wait months ahead of time just to get dental work what is the point of having Medicaid if they're not going to help you something needs to be changed

These people are not here to help you, they're only there for the money. I called in February to have a cavity filled, had to wait till mid May just for the x-rays, now they want me to wait until September for the filling to be done. I guess I'll just deal with the pain for another 4 months. Thanks for nothing, PanCare.

I had an appointment today with the most unprofessional Dentist I have ever witnessed. She basically had a hissy fit in the middle of doing my filling. Terrible manners! Her craft was good but her attitude was horrible. Her white coat said she was "Dr. Isaac" but she was far from American so I doubt that was her real name. You ought to be ashamed of yourself "Dr. Isaac!"

Would give it zero stars if I could. I have medical conditions that don't allow me to take certain medications that the doctor recommended and I explain this to him thoroughly but he argued the fact with me and said this is what I have to take and wouldn't prescribe me anything for pain. 2 hours after I had two teeth removed I was an excruciating pain grabbing my face bleeding excessively from where the teeth were removed in my gums. I talked to the receptionist she forwarded me to the doctor he still argued the fact with me, I called them again it sent me to a voicemail saying that they were closed an hour before they was supposed to close and then I called again and the receptionist argued with me that I need to take naproxen but it is the same thing as ibuprofen which I'm not able to ingest considering my medical condition. After arguing with her she said I am sorry sir we do not give out controlled substances and basically thinking I was trying to get a controlled substance when I was trying to get something for pain something along the lines of methocarbamol. Which is not considered a narcotic and is what I was prescribed when I had my last tooth removed. The staff was very unprofessional. They couldn't help me with anything and assume that I was a junkie. I would not recommend this to anybody or consider this to be a family dentist I know that they cater to lower income people but it was my only option considering I do not have insurance. I wish there was something good to say about them, but the only good thing about them is that I don't have those two teeth bothering me other than that it was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this facility to anybody.

Takes two to three months for an appointment. I have a tooth that broke at the gums they can't see me for 10 weeks. Had an appointment a month ago, they called the day before and canceled said they would call to work me in but didn't. My husband also had an appointment that they canceled and did not call to work in.

I took down my old review to put up my new review because I just went to Pancare Dental in Panama City again for some major work and I cannot scream from the mountaintop loud enough for everyone to hear how awesome they are! seriously. I take great pride in my teeth I always go to the ritzy dentists and the ritzy dentist are now at Pancare. All the dentists are on like a rotating schedule where you get dentists from all over the area working in your mouth. MY KIDS ARENT AFRAID TO GO ANYMORE!! it's fast it's on a sliding scale for income where a normal dentist will cost $180 for X-rays and a filling if you're lucky pancare is $65 if you have a lower income and can't afford all that high dental bill mess. I had a tooth that was probably needing to be pulled I don't want a gap hole on the bottom of my mouth but they don't include bridge work and permanent implants on my insurance, so we compromised and had them rebuild the tooth up with filling. My tooth is not sensitive to heat or cold anymore! it looks great! you can't even tell that anything ever happened with that tooth and they made it to be covered all under my Medicaid and Medicare insurance. Switch over to Pancare Dental. you seriously are inept if you don't

This place pulled two molars and Dr. P was great. Went there today and they wouldn't let me in without a mask. Ridiculousness

I'm 7 months pregnant and was shoved in their x-ray machine without being offered any type of lead cover. The appointments are so far out they are asking for an obgyn clearance that I've already had sent over, but will be no use because the appointment they made is for after my child is born. They loaded me up with a week of antibiotics claiming I have an infection which I do not and you can clearly see that on x-ray and in person. And then made an appointment for three months down the road. I have dental insurance and didn't want to pay out of pocket for all the stuff they were offering stating my tooth was salvageable, once I stated that I wasnt paying out of pocket my tooth then became unsalvageable and was shoved off. Will be calling and asking for some one incharge today.

If I could give this zero stars I would. The receptionist and the staff at the Dental Clinic there are extremely rude, and very unprofessional this is not how you should run a business or treat people. The receptionist needs to be fired!
