We operate Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty, Walton and Washington counties to primarily serve people on Medicaid, Medicare, and those who are uninsured on a sliding scale. Our Community Health Centers provide primary and urgent care, as well as dental care and mental health support.
PanCare of Florida's (a.k.a PanCareHealth's) clinical locations are Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) deemed facilities. Since its enactment in 1946, the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) has been the legal mechanism for compensating people who have suffered personal injury by the negligent or wrongful action of employees of the U.S. Government. Under Section 224 of the Public Health Service Act, as amended by the Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act of 1992 and 1995, employees of eligible health centers, such as PanCare of Florida, Inc., may be deemed to be federal employees qualified for protection under the FTCA. With PanCare of Florida's deemed status, the center is not liable for any settlements or judgments that are made under the FTCA. The Federal government assumes responsibility for these costs. Deemed health center program grantees are immune from medical malpractice lawsuits resulting from the performance of medical, surgical, dental, or related functions within the approved scope of practice. Deemed health centers such as PanCare of Florida must go through a rigorous application process annually to remain in this status. This process ensures the center is credentialing quality providers while maintaining high-quality measures allowing for affordable superior care for its patients.

Still think about how TERRIBLE this place was to me. Horrible customer service. Young girls who don't even know how to work the chair you're in. Had to have a very intense and long healing surgery because of a mistake they made. Left a piece of root tip to rot in my face and cause an absess the size of a dime in my mouth. go back to school.

They have nothing but be nice and helpful. I have bad anxiety about shots but the Doctor was really gentle with shots. They even called me because they had a cancellation to get me seen sooner. They also set me up with oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth removal. I really like this dentist.

When she found out I had insurance, wanted to pull 2 good teeth because they lose. Not lose. Scheduled series of cleanings. When I said we could discuss after cleaning. She said you WILL do what I say or don't come back. I left and want be back. Will look for real dentist

Had a tooth pulled here broke one of my good teeth it hurts all the time now. Broke it way below the gum line. Didn't even get a sorry and broke a piece of my jaw bone off. They should half to permanently fix my tooth.

I made appointments for both my daughter and I here. Before making my appointment I asked them three different times, several months apart, if they took my insurance, and I was assured each time that they did. The night before they called me to advise they don't accept my insurance. So fine I was still going to take my daughter. When we got there they told me I couldn't go back with her. Now my daughter was 2 at the time. There is no way as a parent I would let my young child back with complete strangers, especially for something she wouldn't understand. We ended up walking out, and I now need to find another dentist, and take more time off of work. Really sad since it will also mean quite a bit of traveling for us as other dentists are at least 45 minutes away. I've heard of other dentists offices doing this and personally I think it is a ridiculous policy to enforce for children. I could almost understand for adults, but at no point should I have to leave my child alone like that.

I had a great experience at the Carrabelle office. The receptionist is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable when you come in. I had some fillings and they were professionally done. Great work! I will be coming back for future appts. Not sure why everyone feels the need to go to Tallahassee? I just moved here and reading previous reviews was a bit cautious and didn't want to go to Tallahassee. Carrabelle is a great place and great doctors. Not sure why everyone complains......

Brief update: The staff are always helpful and take you back on time every time. Wi-Fi is still bad but that has nothing to do with the dental service. I had my initial appointment today and will further update my review after my next appointment. The staff are super friendly and courteous. They took me back on time and checkout was fast and efficient. My son had his teeth cleaned and he said it was the best dental experience he ever had. Update: I had my teeth cleaned. They took me back perfectly on time, did x-rays, a thorough cleaning, polish, flossing, and fluoride treatment. I'm very happy with this dental office. So far my biggest disappointment is that they have no free WiFi.

Husband and I went here,he had teeth cleaned!!!!!what a joke,they were as dirty as he went in. More than 1 visit for him, 1 for me. Watched lady divide money I just handed her part of it in cash box,the other in a envelope.They only took cash
