Being an orthodontist is such a rewarding profession on so many levels. Not only do I have the opportunity to correct imperfect bites, which improves our medical and dental health, but I also get to use my artistic side to create beautiful smiles, which improves a patients self-esteem. This can change a patients life forever!
As a mother myself, I understand what its like to be a parent of a child who needs orthodontic care. The respect, compassion, and gentleness I would expect my own children to receive is the same I give to each patient I meet. Each person in our office is as unique as their smile, and getting to know them during their time with us is always a pleasure.
I have a wide rangeof experience which includes staff/operating room privelegesat Amita Hinsdale and Amita LaGrange Hospitals.This experience has helped me to collaborate with the patients other dental professionals and provide better overall patient care to our medically compromised or special needs patients.
Working with patients of all ages gives me the chance to provide a wide range of orthodontic services, from expanders and traditional braces, Invisalign, Invisalign Teen, and Invisalign First clear aligners, to orthognathic surgery corrections and complicated multi-disciplinary adult cases. Our office uses cutting-edge technology and treatments, and offers 3D radiography, iTero scanner, V-Pro, and Propel.
It is imperative for me to stay current with the trends, products, and innovations in the field in order to provide the best treatment results for our patients in the shortest amount of time. Since completion of my formal education, I have taken numerous hours of continuing education and currently participate as a member in several local study clubs.
I also attend numerous yearly conferences and seminars on a national scale. Over the years, I have been honored to be a speaker at the AutismOne convention, the Special Care Dentistry Association convention, and the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics. I am currently president of the Illinois Society of Orthodontists Alumni Association and on the Board of Trustees for the Illinois Society of Orthodontists.
I appreciate having strong ties to this amazing community; being active with local organizations is just one small way I feel I can give back. I have been involved with the Hinsdale High School and Downers Grove North Career Mentor Programs, the Willowbrook/Burr Ridge Childrens Softball League, and the FISH and Willowbrook FoodPantries,to name a few. I enjoy participating in, and donating to, all local school district fundraisers and community events.
I am also a proud sponsor of the Marquette University Alumni Association, Marquette University School of Dentistry Presidents Circle, University of Illinois at Chicago Orthodontic Alumni Association, andSpecial Olympics of Illinois.

I went with my 12 years old daughter for consultation for her braces. The office staff are very friendly. Dr. Johnson explained all the process and steps and answered all my questions. Our consultation was amazing. My daughter can't wait to start the process.

Dr Johnson and her staff have been outstanding in every regard from start to finish. I went in as an adult with fairly severe malocclusion and a large amount of previous dental work, and she was still able to achieve excellent results. Dr Johnson is very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. The office has top notch equipment, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Any concern or minor adjustment was always immediately accommodated. Great experience all around. I highly recommend Johnson Orthodontics to anyone of any age

I just finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Johnson. Not only am I please with my results, I am pleased with my entire experience. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. My treatment was during COVID and the staff took great care to keep everyone safe and treatments running smoothly.

Both my son and I are going to Dr Johnson and the care we receive is outstanding!!! Doctor and all of her staff are extremely polite, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, patient, understanding, well oganized...First time I went there I was little nervous being at the age of 42 and thinking "what am I doing here with all these kids?!" However, they put me at ease immediately and I realized it's never too late to straighten your teeth and have a beautiful smile! I chose invisalign and my son Lazar who is 14 did braces as these were the best options for us and we are both very happy with progress and results (I completed my treatment and cannot stop smiling ) ! I cannot thank Dr Johnson and her staff enough for everything they did for us and I would definitely recommend them to everyone, regardless of age!! Thank you Dr Johnson for amazing work you do!!

It's been 10 years since I first walked into Dr. Johnson's office and I still consider it one of the best decisions I made in my life. Dr. Johnson and her team are amazing. The entire office runs like a well oiled machine. I recently returned to the office for a new retainer. The process was very smooth from start to finish. It was great catching up with Dr. Johnson and her team. I'll state again...getting braces as an adult with Johnson Orthodontics was one of the best decisions I made in my life. I love my smile!

Dr. Johnson was recommended to me by a friend. Accepting that recommendation was one of the best choices I've made for myself and my children. All three of my kids now have beautiful smiles. After she finished with my son's treatment, I started seeing her myself. Dr. Johnson is extremely competent and thoroughly explains your treatment plan. I'm happy to say that all of us are very pleased with our outcomes. My last child just had her braces removed. While I am excited to reach that milestone, I am a little sad too. We will miss the outstanding care we received from Dr. Johnson and her team. You could not ask for a more welcoming, professional and accommodating practice. I highly recommend her for your orthodontic needs
