Dr. Alexandra Bassett has always been an artist at heart, earning a visual arts degree in college before deciding to become a dentist. An artists life is filled with long nights in the studio, and I am just too extroverted for that, she says. Dentistry is an opportunity to relate to everyone you meet, and thats a very special opportunity to me.
After college, Dr. Bassett attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and has completed hundreds of hours of supplementary education since she graduated. We truly live in the Golden Age of dentistry treatment is quicker, more precise, and less painful than its ever been. Providing the most efficient and affordable treatment has always been a priority for my patients, and having my own practice to offer this is a dream come true. But her driving goal, beyond being an accomplished and high-quality dentist, is to create a trusting relationship with each of her patients.
Dr. Bassett has always placed significance in helping others, as she spent a year after college as a Phoenix AmeriCorps Urban Fellow at a charter school in Chelsea, Massachusetts to help former high school dropouts earn their high school diplomas. In her free time, Dr. Bassett enjoys skiing, hiking, or spending time around a campfire.
Growing up with a mother who owned her own small business, Dr. Golnaz developed great respect and appreciation for what can come from being part of a small business community. Originally considering social work, she pivoted to dentistry because of her desire to not only give back to her community but to develop a long-lasting relationship with her patients.
Working at Paloma Dental has given Dr. Golnaz the freedom in practice that she was hoping for freedom of clinical decisions, high-quality dental materials and methods, cutting edge continuing education support, and the advantage of being in a two-doctor practice, which creates a supportive, multidimensional, and collaborative practice style.
Dr. Golnaz was born and raised in the Bay Area in Northern California, but one trip to Colorado and she knew it was the place for her. She enjoys hiking, snowboarding, yoga, traveling, and cooking during her free time. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, the Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, as well as the American Dental Association.
When Dr. Alexandra Bassett imagined her own dental office, she imagined a place where community flourished. As a place where everyone is cared for regardless of their interests, background, or story, the dental office is an ideal place to foster a sense of community in a neighborhood. One of the most important characteristic of any doctor, she believes, is a love for giving, helping others around you, and treating all with respect, gentleness, and kindness.
To support the Rino community, Paloma Dental does more than just do business in it. Dr. Bassett puts a priority on giving to non-profit causes. We are always looking for new local charities to contribute toward, and would love to hear about who you think needs the support!

I have used both Dr. Bassett and Dr. Golnaz as a patient at Paloma Dental and they are both excellent! They are kind, professional, and attentive to my requests and questions. I also really like the team of hygienists, who have been awesome at helping me keep my teeth & gums healthy between checkups. I highly recommend this wonderful staff and their inclusive practice!

Staff is always so friendly and I really appreciate the front desk promptly following up on any of my questions/concerns! They are organized and on top of it!! I really like their texting system too.

Dr. Bassett and her staff share excellent care and professionalism with our family, and what genuine and kind people they all are! She and her staff go above and beyond to accommodate you with whatever your needs are. Dr. Bassett has a very warm and calming presence , and I feel relaxed and in such capable hands when I see her. I broke one of my front teeth over the weekend. Paloma Dental went above and beyond to get me seen ASAP by Dr. Basset and I walked out of their office looking like nothing happened! Super friendly and great care. I'm not a huge fan of the dentist, but they do a great job communicating your treatment and keeping you comfortable during the exam.

Dr Bassett and her team is amazing! I've been thinking about getting veneers for my front teeth for years, and as part of a routine check discussed that with Dr Bassett and decided to go ahead. The process was very thorough and I felt genuinly cared for by the whole team. And the result - I love it, it looks great! I highly recommend Paloma Dental!

Everyone was lovely-they communicated to me about what was happening and why, we laughed and chatted, and most important, I feel like I was heard and taken care of. The space is welcoming and the check in instructions and parking guide were easy to follow and use. No one loves going to the dentist, but I left Paloma Dental not dreading my return. Thank you so much.

I chipped my tooth playing basketball literally two days before getting engaged - I called frantically to see if they could fit me in, and they were able to that day (even though I was a new patient)! Did a temporary fix on the tooth, and the office was very clean. Looking forward to coming back and getting the tooth permanently fixed.

All of the staff here are so friendly and made me feel very welcomed! Dr. Bassett explained every part of the exam clearly and spent more time with me than any dentist I have ever been to. I have never felt so comfortable at the dentist before. Very glad I came here!
