We promise to speak candidly with you about possible treatments as well as any risks and associated costs of treatment, and how treatment can address your individual needs as a patient.

Hey yall! My name is Olivia. Ive been working with Dr. Cox for 4 years now and have been one of his dental assistants for 2. I love all things outdoors. I mostly enjoy relaxing on a boat all day and road trips to the mountains. I am also currently in college to earn my degree as a dental hygienist. I love ortho because I get to meet lots of friendly people, listen to lots of stories, and learn a lot of new things from people of all ages everyday.

Hey guys, my name is Deanna! I actually went to school and graduated from the Physical Therapy Assisting program but decided I wanted to expand my horizons also, so Im fairly new to the dental field but so excited to see where it leads and all I can learn! Im married and have a 10 month old son, named Maverick who is my life. The best part of healthcare is getting to know everyone of your patients and their families and seeing the change and impact you make in their life! In ortho, watching someone bloom into their own smile with confidence because of an experience you are a part of is something they and you will remember forever!

My name is Kaylin and I love to travel, all things Disney. I really enjoy being a part of my 3yo nieces life. I recently moved back to my parents property into my grandparents ranch home and am in the process of making it my own. I also am newly engaged and looking forward to my wedding while also eager to continue to learn as much as possible to grow in my career which I love.

Ive always wanted to have a career helping others. Its the foundation of how I was raised. When I was in high school and taking full college courses, I had a huge tug on my heart towards orthodontics. I was under orthodontic treatment at the time, a full-time student, had a full-time job and assisted as a caregiver at home. All of these passions combined in me to create a huge desire to help others. I absolutely love the aspect of my job where I get to meet clients at the start of their treatment and to watch their confidence grow as they feel better about their appearance while forming friendships along the way.

Hey, Im Bri! I was born and raised in the lowcountry and I dont plan on ever leaving. The people and sights around here are unmatched. Ive always worked in customer service and I think Im meant to spend my life helping brighten peoples day, but I decided to try dental assisting to challenge myself everyday and be a part of the process to make people more confident about themselves. I love working with Dr. Cox and everyone else in the office. Coming into work knowing Im working with people I love that make me laugh and getting to see all the patients, young and old, that constantly show me the good in the world makes me love my job more than I already do!

Gerda has been an orthodontic assistant with Dr. Cox for 11 years and has 27 years of orthodontic experience. She loves working in her yard, boating, and swimming in her free time. She also has a 30 year old son who went to college at UT-Knoxville and graduated with a degree in IT. Gerda says, 'I could spend the rest of my life making beautiful smiles!'

Cheryl is from Gaffney, SC, and moved to the area in 2018. Cheryl, and her husband Carl, are welcoming their 4th child this year. They enjoy spending time with their children, Irish setter Beauregard and exploring the lowcountry.

Cheryl graduated from Spartanburg Community College in 2006 as a DANB certified expanded duty dental assistant, and then worked at Peidmont Orthodontic Associates. She then continued her education at Greenville Technical College, and in 2016, became a Registered Dental Hygienist.

While Cheryl enjoys using her degree to help surrounding offices when a fill in hygienist is needed, her true passion remains practicing as an orthodontic assistant, and helping others find confidence in their smile.

Hey y'all. My name is Mikaila! I have been working for Dr. Cox since the beginning of 2021, and plan to stay for a long time! Outside of work you can find me fishing with my dad and my boyfriend, or doing something outdoors. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, and playing with my sweet dog Avery Mae. My favorite part of being an assistant is meeting all of my patients and learning about them! I look forward to seeing all of y'alls beautiful smiles!
