Dr. Doug Oliver was born and raised in Florence, SC. He attended Wofford College for his undergraduate education. He then continued his education at the Medical University of South Carolina where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine. After graduating from MUSC, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at the University Of Tennessee-Memphis Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis, Baptist Memorial Hospital, LeBonheur Children's Hospital , UT Bowld Hospital and the Memphis VA Medical Center.

Dr. Michael Morgan was born in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Morgan spent his the majority of his childhood in Florence, South Carolina where upon graduation from West Florence High School, attended The College of Charleston. There he received a bachelor of science degree. After graduation, he attended The Medical University of South Carolina where he graduated with a degree of Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Morgan completed a four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In his last year of residency, he served as Chief Resident of the program. After completion of his graduate and postgraduate training, Dr. Morgan and his wife, Cynthia, moved back to Florence, South Carolina where they reside today with their sons, John Michael and Wells.

Doctor Morgan and staff excellent. The only thing I didn't like was having to wait so long for an appointment . After first appointment 4 days later tooth and pain gone.

From the moment of my consultation, to the time I had my wisdom tooth removed, everyone was so nice and treated me greatly! Doctor Oliver was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to me during the initial visit and I completely understood everything that was going on. Also the nurses were just as nice when I showed up to have my tooth removed, they walked me through everything And continuously talked to me to ease my worries! Also the front office staff were smiling and extremely pleasant as well! I just had a wonderful experience and am almost a week into recovery with no issues!!! Thanks to the entire office for my great experience!!

I had some major reconstruction work done on my teeth this past year. Before I could start the reconstructive work I had to get A LOT of bad teeth out. I am such an easy going person... But this ENTIRE staff was so rude and heartless towards me. As I was sent back to be placed to sleep to have the work started I felt as though I was in a prison being shouted at with the nurses as the prison guards. Even after the procedure they left a voicemail on my phone that was the meanest and most horrible voicemail I think I've ever received... Especially from a place of business. If I could go back I would wish to go somewhere where the staff were halfway... Nice

I highly recommend Palmetto Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon. Always was afraid of going to The dentist, had eight tooth some cut out and some extracted. Was asleep for the procedure, it lasted about 30 minutes. Took one prescribed pain pill for precaution after I got home, haven't had any pain. The staff was very friendly they're the bomb.

My 8 year old daughter had to get 2 teeth removed. She was extremely scared but they made her feel very calm and everyone who works there were very polite. She had Dr.Morgan. He was amazing. My daughter felt great the same day and also hardly any discomfort the next morning. I would recommend coming here to anyone who needs services they provide.

The staff was nice and kind. They was very concern about my situation. I didn't have to wait long before surgery. Before I knew it, the surgery was over. Great job Dr. Lee and staff.

Staff did not seem very impressed with him or his experience when talking about him. The exam room was clearly dirty when entered, with dirty tools left on the table that the assistant simply covered with a clean cover and laid the tools he needed to examine me and a pair of gloves on. There was dried blood left from a previous patient in the room I couldn't take my eyes off while they talked and they seemed to ignore. I did not have any work done and will NEVER go back or recommend. Tried to call the office manager and was told she was sorry but no other type of resolution offered and this is after I paid their $140 consult fee. AVOID THIS OFFICE!

Everyone was very professional! I tend to get nervous at dental appointments but they made me feel comfortable. I got 2 wisdom teeth removed and the procedure went as smooth as possible! They called to check on me at home and gave me medicine to keep me comfortable. I would definitely recommend them and Dr. Lee was great!

I recently had to undergo surgery for some very painful teeth that have been causing me pain for some time. I can't say enough about how amazing the staff there is. From the ladies at the front desk who moved so quickly to get me all checked on and help navigate new patient paperwork to the nursing staff. I have never felt more comfortable in a dental office. Dr. Lee was super cool and explained what needed to be done and was patient to answer any questions. And his scheduler Penny was so helpful as well. I'll definitely be returning for any future issues and I've already referred several friends and family! Highly recommend!

I normally see Dr. Lawhon for my dental needs but he was unavailable, so I gave Palmetto Oral a shot. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Lee and his staff. They made sure I was comfortable, calm, and the whole thing went off without a hitch. I'm glad I got to meet Dr. Lee and his wonderful staff and am very happy with their work! Highly recommended!

I am a very nervous patient in the dentist's chair with bad past experiences and had a really painful molar which needed to be pulled. I cannot express how kind and reassuring everyone was. Karen could tell how miserable I was and spoke to me throughout the whole process to help me calm down. She is the nicest Karen anyone could hope to meet. Dr. Morgan was very professional, kind, and made sure I always understood what was happening. He listened to all of my concerns and was very careful. He went out of his way to help me get the care that I needed. Dr. Morgan has helped restore my trust in the profession.

Not sure why this office refuses to sign gas reimbursement form for Movicare which is a state run program for Medicaid recipients. It seems like a form of discrimination to me!
