IGNORE THE NAYSAYERS! Ignore the carpet (its not even bad like that), ignore the house comments (it IS a proper office), the people are NOT RUDE. They are very efficient here. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. First visit Dentist I have ever seen that gets to the point. High tech xrays and tells you straight up what you need with a plan. No stringing you along. I did not have dental work done for 13 years due to EXTREME dental fear. Dr. Furgess is THE BOMB! They pulled 5 teeth that were infected, Performed a deep clean and 6 fillings in a little over 2 hours while I was asleep. Most amazing visit. I already moved my husband here and have been telling everyone to come here. I LOVE DR FURGESS!!

First I want to say I love Dr. Furgess. She was very kind, upfront and professional with me. However, I do agree with the statements that the front desk staff can be a little bit unprofessional. My x-rays were supposed to get sent to another doctor I was referred to by Dr. Furgess and they just never were. I had to get new xrays taken. The place is filthy and carpeted which I didn't like but looked past. Then they called to confirm my appointment and told me I'd have to pay upfront and would later be reimbursed for what my insurance pays. But I'll have to pay 600 dollars up front. I don't have 600 dollars to throw around and hopefully get back sometime soon. I had to cancel. I honestly think that's really unprofessional and I've never been to another healthcare provider that's expected the same thing. I liked this place for a lot of reasons, but there are enough reasons for me to walk away. If you're looking for a new dentist, I wouldn't pick this one.

I must say this is the best dentist you can go to I had to get my wisdom tooth pull I was very nervous about going but the staff was very friendly and the price was reasonable. The dentist that pulled my tooth done an excellent job I didn't feel anything before or after my procedure. I would recommend this dentist to anyone they are excellent! Thanks to Palmetto Dentist for welcoming me to your office I will be back soon

I went here for major work which was a little more then I could afford. The staff was super friendly and the doctor was very honest for my situation. You can't find honesty like this among most medical professions. At least not any more. What first caught me off guard was that this office is a converted family house which blew my mind. Once inside looks and works very professional of all aspects.

Great experience and loved the staff and the work completed. I had a horrible experience at other dental offices but, palmetto dental eased all my worries and I will continue to choose them as my dentist. I wouldn't recommend any and everyone to Palmetto Dental.

Be prepared to wait longer then an hour even if you have an appointment that was scheduled well in advance. Also requested my medical records and was told I couldnt have them unless I pay a fee. After speaking with the Dr found out this was not true and the staff lied! Place is also very old and dirty, looks like it was a house that was poorly made into a dentist office.

I was recommended to Dr Rutherford and his colleagues by my student from 25 years ago, who is himself a professor of dentistry and a recognized international authority on implantology. He and Dr. Rutherford are working at the forefront of implantology. All the people who work in this practice are outstanding, professional, kind, and caring. They are not a business. They work in human service. I love this dental group and highly recommend them! I feel utter gratitude to them.

I went to get my 6 year old son front tooth pulled on 04/25/17 because of his permanent teeth were coming in & I let Tracie Furgess pulled out his baby tooth later that day I looked in my son mouth to make sure there was know swelling or know other issues that was going on........come to find out she chipped his front permanent tooth I went back the next morning & she gets upset because I let her know that she chipped his permanent front tooth I recommend anyone not to go to this dentist or if you are find another dentist.........PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THESE PPL BECAUSE THEY DID NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT THEY DID TO MY SON TOOTH

Scheduled an appointment two weeks ago. Ask about laughing gas was told it's an extra charge...no problem. Get to my appointment gas is only for children! Then the woman sitting behind desk where she can't be seen but heard is being ghetto! Yep I said it....heard her every word!! We left! They kept my info now I need to watch my insurance claims! I prefer prefer to pay for professionalism not ghettoism!
