Meet Dr. Trejos, the newest practicing dentist at Palm Coast Family Dentistry. Dr. Trejos is a native New Yorker. She grew up close to New York City, then ventured further north to attend college at the University at Albany in the states capital. She participated in college rowing and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor of science in Biology as well as a minor in Business Administration. Dr. Trejos has had plans to become a dentist since she was twelve years old and upon completion of her undergraduate degree, went on to attend the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. There, she gained the skills necessary to practice comprehensive dentistry. After graduation, she enrolled in a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. It was at the fast paced, high volume clinic in Montefiore Hospital that she was able to sharpen skills and learn speed and efficiency. When looking for a job coming out of residency, Dr. T decided she was tired of the cold, snowy weather in New York. She packed up her things and headed down to sunny Florida to start her professional life and build a family of her own. Before coming to Palm Coast Family Dentistry, she worked for a corporate dental firm. Dr. Trejos spends her free time with husband Michael, son Sebastian, and labradoodle Beary. She enjoys relaxing at home with her family, sunbathing, crafts, and shopping.

Had an amazing experience here. I just finished multiple visits to get rid of cavities and Dr. Trejos worked very efficiently and the technicians made the visits seemless. Everyone was friendly and cared about the patients

First experience with my daughter was fine. Dentist came out to let me know they were putting in a prescription. Second experience, with my son, they decided to change the procedure they were scheduled to do without letting me know. Payment is due at time of service... It seems like horrible business practice. I was able to pay but it was $200 + dollars more than what was expected with insurance for the procedure I scheduled.

Front desk staff are rude. They are not following Delta Dental PPO insurance, which doesn't allow them to bill for quadrant irrigation. Watch out for their false billings in all areas. It's a shame, because hygienist and Dr. Trejos are wonderful!

Was in town visiting family and one of my fillings popped out ;( Turns out had a cavity under filling and needed a crown! Went to Dr. Trejos' office and she hooked me up. Even stayed later to fit me into her schedule to get me taken care of same day! I'm actually moving to Florida soon ! Definitely know who will take care of me when I make the move! Thanks Dr. Trejos! Highly recommend!

I made appointments for myself and my husband over a month ago. When I scheduled them I spoke with a very nice person who told me the free exam and xray coupon I had was good for both of us. Well today a rather snooty person called about our preappointment paperwork telling me that if we didn't fill it out before tomorrow she would cancel appointments. When I asked about the coupon again to make sure I was told it was only good for one person and she would cancel both appointments anyway. This was after she was told that both of us have severe dental problems. She was rude and had no compassion. If this is the way the staff treats people how do the doctors act? I was never made to feel so unwanted by a doctors office in my life. Why because we have no insurance and were using a coupon that they sent out? Why send them out if they're not going to honor them? I wish I could give 0 stars for the way they made me feel.

Would love to leave a good review, but too many bad experiences. Hygienists are wonderful and pleasant to be around. Walked in on the dentist with feet up on front counter, on phone, and gossiping about clients. My mom went there for dentures and over a year and a half was only seen three or so times by the actual dentist. They couldn't figure out how to make the second mold of the dentures... basically gave up and provided refund, which was nice of them to do. I don't have a doubt that the dentist knows what she is doing. Customer service and hospitality is lacking by some staff members. Often felt like a bother to a few, even main dentist. Overall, not a horrible experience. They do good work, but we didn't have that good of an experience with PC family dentistry .

Previously left a outstanding review after initial visit. I apologize to anyone who went to this office because of my review . Over time all work done by Patel had to be redone. ( Teeth not sealed properly) Then, Trejos proceeded to fix Patels work which we had to repay for everything. Trejos was able to fix some but several things she did incorrectly which resulted in several follow up appointments for her to redo work. BE AWARE. This happened to my wife and me!! The office Also said I needed to repair something that wasn't hurting or bothering me in any way. They checked my insurance and stated it was covered and what it would cost. I paid several thousand for procedure. Months went by, Now they are seeking over $1,800 more because my insurance didn't cover the procedure because it was to soon. I called my insurance, they stated they would pay but in the end they declined payment. My wife and I stayed in contact with the office. The office holds no responsibility for Patel, TreJos or anyone at the front desk. Then, I was told I couldn't make Small $50 payments?! Nor would I be able to be seen until I've made a significant payment. At the time I was in pain for my back tooth that was a retreat root canal! (Original work done by Patel!! ) This came directly from the front office manager. Which later stated she didn't say that or was misunderstood. I don't think anything was interpreted wrong by myself or wife. Trejos can be nice but at the end of the day the mistakes made were too often and Inexperienced mistakes. Out of all the work that's had to be redone Trejos fixed one tooth for my wife without another payment. The only reason why is the tooth was never right from day one because Trejos was in a rush to pick up her kids and make a mistake. I literally have anxiety at the dentist office now because when numbing they sent a jolt/ shock hitting a nerve (this happened on two separate visits) plus all the work that has to be fixed. I've emailed the office, left voice message and disputed any bill. I don't think it's right that my wife and I have had to deal with this. This office has cost us at least double of what we should have paid. I've given this office 20k between my wife and I and this is how they treat us? I finally found a great dentist in St. Augustine and I've already given him around $2k fixing previous work. He stated the machine Patel used for the same day Root canal is garbage and very cheaply made. Also said it's a shame I'm going through this because it's cost me much more then money you've only got so many times fixing a tooth. I'm so disappointed. How can a office hold no responsibility?? As a patient with no prior experience dealing with dental insurance or major dental work I put my faith in the dentist and front office. BIG mistake. Again, sorry to anyone that I've referenced to this office.

The hygienist is wonderful! Very thorough and caring, told me what she was doing with every step. She removed stains I had had for years and been told were permanent. Unfortunately I require pre-medication due to extreme anxiety and Dr. Trejos charges an additional $98 to write the prescription for 2 pills which I had to pick up no sooner than the day before and had to wait a half hour to receive. I felt like I could finally be on the road to taking good care of my teeth and getting regular cleanings but not at that cost just for a prescription for 2 pills that I had to pick up in person, get filled and pay for myself. To be fair they did wave it for me on the condition that I cannot receive that service again which essentially means they kicked me out of the practice.

The office manager is knowledgeable and so kind. My dental hygienist was attentive to areas of sensitivity and so gentle with the cleaning, and offered advice regarding products to helo treat the sensitivity. Great staff and experience. :)

Update: New dentist..not the same office as prior dentist. Staff sit back and talk about you and others felt like high school. Very bad experience
