Palm Beach Pediatric Dentistry was founded by Dr. Saadia I. Mohammed. She recognized the need for a more modern approach to caring for childrens oral health. Instead of traditional practices that just clean teeth and fill cavities, she believes in a proactive method centered around prevention and education.
Serving children in the Boca/Palm Beach County area, Dr. Saadias personalized style is clear the moment a family enters the office. Dr. Saadia is extremely versatile in adapting her chair-side manner to the age of the patient, always making the experience pleasant and fear-free for the youngest of children.
Dr. Saadia is a highly-trained and experienced pediatric dentist who has been in private practice in Southeast Florida since 1998, and was the first female, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist in Boca Raton. She received her pediatric dental specialty training at University of Connecticut and spent a year doing her Fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry at Yale New Haven Hospital and Childrens Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut with the Craniofacial team there. In addition she spent a year at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach in general practice residency. During her dental schooling at New York University, she was awarded the Deans Research Award and was in the Honors Clinic.

Wonderful atmosphere and all the staff and Dr Mohammed are so patient with the kids. My kids loved the experience! Never did I imagine the dentist be a place my kids want to go to. They are just so gentle and caring.

I brought my newborn in as I suspected a tie. Dr. Saadia was wonderful! She informed me that there were actually more than one and was very informative in what to expect after treatment, especially with the stretching exercises. I felt very comfortable with entrusting my daughter to her care. I had the chance to feed my daughter after the procedure was completed that same visit and, oh my goodness, the difference in pain level while feeding was night and day! I just about cried tears of joy - not just that the pain was minimal while feeding my daughter, but that my daughter was no longer struggling with her feedings. In fact, my daughter actually fed in half the time she normally takes. It was amazing to see! Dr. Saadia is a kind person that truly cares about her patients. She called not long after we left the office to check in on my daughter and I. I can't express how much that meant to me. Please don't hesitate to bring your children in if you suspect they have a tie. If you're on the fence, know that revising the tie will benefit your children's well being. Who better to have this procedure done with, than with Dr. Saadia who not only has many years of experience, but that also her passion about her profession is genuine?

We made an appt with Dr Saadia to have our 4 year old daughter's lip tie examined and found out she also had a severe tongue tie that was not addressed by other drs when i showed my concern for her not eating and she wasn't thriving. Dr Saadia referred us to amazing occupational therapy to get her prepared for the release and feeding therapy. The procedure went better than we expected, Dr Saadia and her staff are so good with the kids, it made the process painless and very calming, we are forever grateful

Couldn't have been happier with our sons first dental appointment. They created a space that felt safe for him and gave him the respect of an individual with individual needs. He asked when he would get to go back and was bummed it wouldn't be sooner.

This place is amazing! I loved the fact that Dr. Saadia Mohammed took the amount of time to listen and really understand our needs. Difficult times for us and she was able to sit through my emotional rollercoaster ride but nevertheless guided me in the end to a solid logical healthy decision for my son's oral health. I owe much more than 5 stars to her!

Dr. Saadia is absolutely incredible. She's so gentle, kind, and easy to talk to. She actually sits down and answers all your questions in detail and makes the experience so easy. I've taken both of my boys there to have their oral ties released by her and have been very happy both times. Her office staff is very kind and patient as well. Highly recommend.

I took my son to Dr. Saadia for his oral ties. She and her office staff was kind, comprehensive, and made us both feel so comfortable. After the surgery, she personally called that night to check up on him. My son was not able to breastfeeding for the first two months of his life. Almost a week after the surgery he was exclusively breastfeeding and has been ever since (now four months old). I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a tongue tie expert.

I'm thankful beyond words for Dr. Saadia and her team. I called her office out of desperation in February ('21). We'd unsuccessfully been to three other dentists for a baby tooth extraction, with each visit ending in maximum stress and tears, and an insistence that my 7-year-old would need to be sedated for this procedure. That just didn't sit well with me, and I was determined not to give up until we found a compassionate yet firm dentist who could work with my daughter. The entire small staff at this office is exceptional in every way. My first worried phone call was met with understanding and reassurance that this experience would likely be different, and that couldn't have been more true. At our first appointment, my daughter--traumatized from previous dental experiences--refused to even open her mouth. Regardless, the staff was so kind and patient with her, and the office was filled with positive energy. I appreciate that Dr. Saadia spoke with me alone regarding what needed to be done instead of saying things that could have potentially sounded "scary" in front of child, a mistake that seems to be easily made. Dr. Saadia asked me how she could help and actually cared about my response. My goals: I did not want my daughter to be sedated--the idea of sedation that was thrown around so casually at every other office we'd visited felt innately wrong to me for our situation. I also wanted my daughter to look back on this experience not just in relief that it was over, but with a sense of self-confidence and empowerment. At this, Dr. Saadia's eyes grew bright. For THAT was her exact magic. Even after considering my daughter's uncooperative behavior and recent track record, Dr. Saadia didn't turn us away. She believed in my daughter's ability to get through this even though we were a bit broken from our previous negative experiences. Over the next several weeks we were invited into the office for play therapy sessions. During these visits, my daughter was familiarized with tools that would be used, sounds she would hear, and faces she would see. She quickly began to trust "Dr. Saadia's helpers," often talking positively about this experience for the rest of the week. I can see how it might be easy to want to skip this step, but these sessions were a game changer for us. When it came time for the procedure, the experience couldn't have been more positive. The procedure was done WITHOUT sedation and with minimal physical discomfort and minimal emotional distress. In fact, my daughter has shared the most tender and beautiful memories with me. She was coached through breathing exercises to help her relax and was treated firmly, but from nothing but heart space. l feel she was truly cared for, mind, body, and soul. Also, she's actually looking forward to her next trip to the dentist. I couldn't be more thankful for and grateful to Dr. Saadia and her entire team. I highly recommend this practice without reservation. If you're looking for a pediatric dentist who will truly view your child holistically and treat them with great care and compassion, your search is over. Dr. Saadia and her team are extraordinary!

Dr. Saaida is phenomenal and is a pool of knowledge. Her approach to pediatric dental care is unique, genuine, and unlike anything I've experienced. Going to the dentist for a child can be a frightening experience- not for my daughter. Just laughs, giggles, and smiles. The other dynamic that Dr. Saaida infuses into her practice is accountability and parental confidence. As a first time mom, she has reassured me that the steps I have taken as a mother are more than correct. She takes the time to get to know you as a parent, b/c the energy you give transfers to your child- Dr. Saaida picks up on that, which is great because it's easier for her to access how to approach a new patient. Also, if your child has a lip or tongue tie, contact Dr. Saaida for a frenectomy. The laser procedure is quick, very minimal bleeding, and the healing process is short. She's the best!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr Saadia. When I came to her I was desperate for help and relief for my little girl. When she was born I asked multiple people to check her for a tongue or lip tie and they all told me that she was fine. We struggled breastfeeding but I thought it was normal for it to hurt so bad. When her saliva came in was when the problem really got bad. She was constantly coking on her saliva and when she ate. It scared me beyond belief. I couldn't sleep and I was scared to go anywhere with her because it happened twice while she was in her carseat and I was driving. I decided to research it some more and saw that she had many of the common symptoms for ties. I brought her to Dr Saadia because I was told by many many Mothers that she was the best. Well, I am here to say that I absolutely agree. My daughter was ties in her tongue, lip and buccals. Since the release, the choking has stopped and we are getting better everyday with the other symptoms as they will take time to reteach her how to use her tongue the right way after 2 months of using it to the best of her ability which was limited. My husband and I are very pleased with Dr Mohammed's service and are very grateful for her and her staff for educating us and constantly checking on is during her recovery. I highly recommend her for any pediatric needs but especially for a frenectomy procedure using top of the line equipment. Thank you so much for your expertise and caring nature Dr Saadia!

We took our 4 year old son to Dr. Saadia because of his tongue and lip ties, and he had his release done today. Dr. Saadia was so incredible with him and helped him through the procedure with kindness and warmth. She helped us to feel calm and supported and we knew that he was in safe hands!

Dr. Saadia was gracious and kind in working with our schedule after finding out that our baby needed treatment right away. She clearly explained and thoroughly demonstrated how to help our baby after the laser procedure. We are so grateful for the care we received from this team!
