Dr. Angela deFabrique-Abiusi received her BS in Biology and Primate Anthropology from the University of Miami. She received her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated receiving Magna Cum Laude honors with a Doctor of Dental Medicine.
While at Tufts, she served as the President of the Hispanic Student Dental Association. Other honors include Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society membership, the American Association of Oral Pathology Award, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award, Merit Scholarship, and Colgate Palmolive Award of Distinction.
Dr. Angela deFabrique-Abiusi is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Florida Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Angela deFabrique-Abiusi is a board-certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Angela is excited to have recently accepted the role of Advisory Board Chairperson for Best Buddies of Palm Beach. Also a member of Smiles Change Lives, an organization which provides low-cost orthodontic care to deserving underprivileged children. Dr. deFabrique-Abiusi is involved in furthering her knowledge through continuing education courses. She is a firm believer that orthodontics involves far more than just straightening teeth.

Dr. Angela is proud to serve as Advisory Board Chairperson for Best Buddies of Palm Beach. This nonprofit organization, propelled by volunteers, is dedicated to creating opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With over a thousand local chapters across the world, Best Buddies has been making great strides towards inclusion and opportunity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1987!

Rachel is our office manager and treatment coordinator and has been with Dr. Angela since April of 2005. I have a strong background in both general dentistry and orthodontic fields, including specializing in insurance. My upbeat personality and energetic ideas provide lots of inspiration to both our team and our practice. Rachel is a mother of three beautiful children and enjoys spending her time cooking and going on long bike rides.
Samara is our treatment and clinical coordinator, she has never met a stranger and immediately connects with our families making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Samara has performed in the orthodontic field since 2008, shes a graduate from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a certified orthodontic assistant. My #1 goal is to make sure patients and their families feel like a part of our orthodontic family. Dr. Angela is the Best Orthodontist in Palm Beach County; what sets Palm Beach Orthodontics apart from other orthodontists is Dr. Angela truly, genuinely cares for people. It is an honor to grow in such a loving, thriving practice. Im originally from St. Louis Missouri, I love the Midwest, but have also fallen in love with our beautiful, sunny South Florida. Samara is married, has two sons and resides in Jupiter. She is active in our community attending sporting events, servicing local schools, and involved in local and abroad organizations contributing to families and children, along side with Dr. Angela. In her spare time she enjoys to travel and shop with her family and friends.
Natalie has dedicated over 18 years to the art of orthodontics as is a certified orthodontic assistant. She has consistently excelled since the day she blessed us with her presence here at Palm Beach Orthodontics! Natalie is a key influencer on our team, and makes the office a better place with her positivity and always cheerful personality. Every day she is full of joy, its truly admirable! This is the first time I have felt excited to come to work! The team at PBO is second to none. The dance parties, great music, fun-loving atmosphere of this wonderful place is directly related to Dr. Angela and her clear and apparent love for life. I am a huge Disney fanatic, so I know what great customer service looks like! Natalie has a son who she absolutely adores, and she enjoys being creative, traveling, and photography.
John is a clinical assistant and our TikTok king! Amongst his many talents that he brings to our tribe, he is our go to guy for, well, basically everything. He is also a stellar photographer, videographer, and editor, and ruler of our office music! Im very excited about working with such an energetic and loving team while I expand my knowledge as an orthodontic assistant. John resides in Royal Palm Beach and is extremely close with his extended and immediate family, he is extremely creative and enjoys drawing.
Katie has been perfecting her orthodontic career and lab skills for over 12 years. She excels in organization, making retainers and appliances, as well as providing A+ care to our orthodontic family. I knew at a young age that I wanted to work in the orthodontic field, my favorite quote is never stop smiling because you never know who is in love with your smile! Dr. Angela and the PBO team have revitalized my love and passion for this industry. Katie is a native Floridian and a boy mom, family is always #1! Between her laugh, funny sayings, and her love to fish and do anything outdoors, shes the perfect definition of southern girl charm.
Erika is a certified orthodontic assistant and has been in the orthodontic field since 2006. Im thankful to be a part of the Palm Beach Orthodontics team and am absolutely thrilled to work alongside Dr. Angela creating beautiful smiles, giving our patients the self-confidence they deserve. Im born and raised in South Florida so naturally, Im a Miami Dolphins Fan!
Cindie has been in the orthodontic field since 1996 and has enjoyed working in every area of the office, she has had many years of continuing education courses and extensive first class training. Cindie is truly a natural hostess and makes everyone she encounters feel comfortable and welcomed. I am passionate about helping Dr. Angela and my co-workers give the best experience possible to all of PBOs patients and families by creating a good rapport with everyone coming through our door. I love watching smiles transform by such a talented orthodontist. Cindie loves spending time with her family, she loves to fish, go on the boat, and to the beach.
Alyssa is enrolled at Palm Beach State College majoring in Business Management, she is also Bi-Lingual and is currently our clear braces model, you really cant see them! A few of my favorite quotes: sometimes you just have to think outside of the box, and take risks. Life is like Floridas weather, up and down, but beautiful. I love Dr. Angela and being the baby of this amazing team. I love wings and my favorite color is red, as you can see! In Alyssas free time she enjoys going shopping and getting her beauty rest.
Jaizsa is a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and graduated from Palm Beach State College in 2021. She is a dedicated worker, an outstanding team player, and without fail, does everything with a positive and happy attitude. My family has always been a motivation for a lot of my goals and orthodontics has always been at the top of that list! I love seeing smiles transform into something more beautiful! Jaizsa is the youngest of 3 sisters and loves a night on the town with her family and friends. Having family as NFL players, naturally, she loves a good football game.
Lis is a Certified Dental Hygienist who has been a wonderful addition to our team since 2017 after graduating from the Dental Assisting Program at Palm Beach State College. She is experienced in working with children and young adults with special needs and truly has a love for learning and patient care. Creating heathy smiles within our community is my passion. Aside from orthodontics I enjoy cooking and traveling with my husband. Lis is a Palm Beach County native and she likes to spend her evenings at home with her husband and three cats.
Snappy is our office mascot specializing in making patients laugh, tripping over her own feet, and is known around town to bust a move! I was born and raised in the ocean off of Palm Beach and in my spare time I love to square dance and play with friends. Snappy also likes to visit with her turtle cousins in Dr. Angelas native country Nicaragua.
Kelly was born in Colombia and moved to the United States when she was 21 years old, she is also Bi-lingual. Shortly after her move, she attended Indian River Community College and earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification. I have extensive expertise in both pediatric dental assisting as well as orthodontic assisting, I love orthodontics and laughing with the PBO team and our patients. When I am not at work Im spending most of my time with my wonderful, light of my life, grandson and Ive been happily married since 2006. Kelly loves the beach, music, and dancing.
