Dr. Pak grew up in Southern California, near Redondo Beach and Torrance, studied Electrical Engineering at UCLA and for a period worked at Rockwell in Newport Beach and Broadcom in Irvine. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University, where he is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor.
Dr. Paks philosophy in dentistry is education and prevention. He believes in educating patients on how to care for their teeth on a daily basis and detecting problems at early stages. Dr. Pak says these two things will go a long way to help you avoid the need for crowns, root canals, and gum disease.
He is dedicated to advance, postdoctoral study and to provide his patients with a gentle, caring, comprehensive approach to oral health. He believes in conservative and preventative dentistry. His goal is to increase the longevity of his patients teeth and their beautiful smiles.
Dr. Pak, his wife, and two children (ages 9 and 11) reside in Irvine. His hobbies include wrestling, parachuting, scuba diving, catamarans, aerobatic flying, bungee jumping, running, biking, motorcycling, and playing video games. He also volunteers his time and dental skills to help people in need. Dr. Pak is committed to the underserved and regularly volunteers at local and overseas dental clinics to provide much needed dental treatments, to some who have never seen a dentist.

Meet Dr. Tessier After growing up in the San Fernando Valley, Dr. Michael Tessier served four years (including one year in Vietnam) as a Navy Hospital Corpsman (medic). Following his return from overseas, he attended Saddleback College in Mission Viejo for two years, and in 1977, realized his life-long dream and graduated from the University of California at San Francisco with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Tessier then served two years in the Naval Dental Corps at the Marine Corps Air Station El Toro in Irvine, California.
For the past 30 years, Dr. Tessier has lived and worked in Orange County. He served the Laguna Beach community for eighteen years before relocating to the Mission Viejo area in 1999. His dental office in the Las Flores Plaza at Oso and Antonio Parkways is conveniently close to Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, Mission Viejo, and Ladera Ranch. I'm about 4 years late in writing my review (something I rarely do). My experience with Dr. Pak has been nothing short of a blessing. I had a couple really bad experiences with Dentists in my past, so I was very hesitant going to a dentist again. After googling many Dentists in the area (and reading their bio: education, background and experience), I decided to try Dr. Pak., and I am so grateful to have found him. He is a perfectionist and genuinely cares to help his patients. He turned my teeth/gums-health from horrible to impressive! Thanks Dr. Pak! I also have to say his office crew is really nice; Kathleen has been super helpful when it came to explaining the treatment plan and answering all of my questions. Thanks guys!

Both dentists at this practice are top notch. I'm also a huge fan if their hygienists. I still drive almost an hour each way to visit them. The front office staff are always friendly and really helpful with regards to insurance stuff. I can't say enough good stuff about Pak Dental. Uber thx.

Visiting PAK Dental was a most positive experience. The staff is kind and friendly who put you at ease right away. I had my teeth cleaned and the hygienist was gentle and easy to chat with. Dr. Pak and his Team is awesome, very nice and always a satisfied customer whenever I pay a visit. They have genuine concern about their patients, they won't force you for any procedure but rather give you options to choose from. They would explain and show you what the problem is and very accommodating with regards to rescheduling.
