When Dr. Robinson graduated from dental school, he couldnt wait to get back to the community in which he grew up. He was looking forward to helping people achieve their perfect smile. Little did he know that a few years later, his background in dentistry would give him the opportunity to look beyond the teeth to something that could change his patients overall health..the AIRWAY!

Dr. Robinson is Delawares first and only doctor triple board certified in Craniofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine. After many years of treating the airway in his general dental practice, Dr Robinson decided to open up a specialty practice to address the needs of the community. This new practice called The Pain and Sleep Therapy Center of Delaware Valley focuses on finding the origin of the problem as opposed to treating with medications and band-aid fixes that have become so routine in todays medical system.

Dr. Robinson has taken over 1000 hours of continuing education courses in Craniofacial Pain and Sleep Breathing Disorders and has been personally mentored by the worlds leading airway clinicians. Dr. Robinson works with patients of all ages. He states, It is extremely rewarding to help an adult enhance their quality of life by finding and treating the source of their issues. Whats even more powerful is treating children and having the opportunity to CURE their problems. He goes on to say Children are the most fun because with just a little intervention and therapy we can help the child grow and develop properly, saving them a lifetime of issues that otherwise would not have been identified. We focus on identifying these issues at a young age so we dont ever have to treat them as an adult

Outside of the office, Dr. Robinson loves spending time with his wife Renee, his son Bryce, his daughter Reese and their dog Marley. He also enjoys traveling, playing golf and giving back to the community through volunteering his time and service, especially with Alfred I. duPont/Nemours Hospital for children in their blood cancer research department.

Dr. Carly Jacobs, a native Floridian, graduated from the University of Florida Dental School and completed her residency at NYU. After trading the Sunshine State for the Big Apple, she ultimately landed in Philadelphia to begin her career in private practice dentistry. While her focus began in general dentistry, she quickly discovered a passion in the field of dental sleep medicine. During her general dentistry practice, Dr. Jacobs helped treat a vast array of patients with sleep-related breathing issues including snoring and sleep apnea. As one of the very few with this specialized set of skills, she immediately experienced the positive impact these treatments had including the significant role of proper breathing in relation to the body and mind.

Her passion for helping people and belief that her patients deserve a more comprehensive approach led her to seek even more specialized training, which included mentorship by some of the top chronic pain and sleep specialists in the world, as well as hundreds of hours of advanced training and education. Dr. Jacobs finds great pride in providing patients relief of their facial pain, headaches, TMD, airway obstructions, and breathing issues and her goal is to help every patient find the root cause of their issues allowing them to achieve a healthy, balanced life that includes a great nights sleep.

What I love about my job the most is being able to solve the mystery of each patient that I have the privilege of caring for. She goes on to say, Every patients journey is different and I believe that all of the best doctors in the world share a common philosophy which includes finding the best possible solution for that particular patient. We do not believe in a one-size fits all model. It starts with listening and ends with a customized comprehensive approach that is used to get the patient healthy. I am very grateful to have found my forever home at The Pain and Sleep Therapy Center, which allows me to utilize the things that I have learned over the course of my career.

Partnering with Dr. Robinson, a national thought leader in the pain and sleep field, Dr. Jacobs has given our office the ability to serve more patients geographically. A majority of her time will be dedicated to serving the patients of the Main Line and surrounding greater Philadelphia region in our second location, The Pain and Sleep Therapy Center Main Line.

This is the best medical practice that I have interacted with in a very long time. Calling Dr Robinson an expert seems to not say enough! He is kind, more than knowledgeable, and passionate about the best results for his patients. State-of-the-art equipment and a comprehensive look at health and health goals make for an incredible experience. After a lengthy (3 hours with no time wasted) appointment, I left with a clear plan and goals for treating my sleep apnea. Aliviana was the CNA who ran the majority of my appointment. She was competent, kind, engaging, and generally wonderful! She ensured that I was always comfortable and knew what was happening. What a great start to what I hope is a long career in healthcare for her. I encourage patients to seek out Dr Robinson and his excellent staff. Every person in the practice is kind, efficient, and wanting the best possible experience for patients. It's a wonderful place.

Had an absolutely STELLAR experience at PSTC! Alyssa, Marissa, and Nurse Practitioner Rachael made us feel more comfortable than we ever had at a doctor's office. They were kind and helpful and they actually listened! 10/10 will return and recommend!

Although the staff was extremely helpful and nice, they fail to tell you upfront that they don't take insurances and treatment STARTS at $2500- this doesn't include the $99 consultation fee OR the $250 test fee that I wasn't informed of. I left. I have already found somewhere that will take my insurance. I recommend notifying new patients so they don't use their time off work.

The staff at Pain and Sleep Therapy are a group of caring, well educated professionals. Although the price for treatment came as quite a SHOCK, the time they took to educate me and identify the root problem really impressed me. Full Disclosure: you will spend hundreds of dollars to be evaluated to identify the root cause of your individual issue, at that time they will present you with treatment options and review your cost (ALL OUT OF POCKET). While the staff does have an insurance coordinator who submits claims after receiving treatment, there is no guarantee that insurance will cover any portion of your bill. For someone who already paid $350 out of pocket to be evaluated, it was a hard pill to swallow facing a $6250 bill to move forward with treatment. Nonetheless, I highly recommend the practice if you have a rather large budget for medical expenses.

My wife was referred to Dr. Robinson for her TMJ issues, and when I went along on her first appointment, Dr. R. told me that he might be able to help me, too. I am a long-time CPAP user, and always wrestled with the appliance that holds the CPAP against my nose. It would leak air, fall off, or otherwise disturb my sleep to such an extent that I would sometimes just avoid it altogether. After an extremely thorough examination, Dr. Robinson's amazingly capable team was able to have a custom made appliance created for me that eliminates every one of the problems I was having before. I was particularly impressed with the knowledge level of every single one of his team. They are highly trained, extremely patient-centric, and attentive to every single detail of the process from the first day on. It's rare nowadays to engage with any business or medical practice in which there are absolutely no weak links. I am sleeping better than ever because of what they were able to do for me, and it's made a terrific difference in my general energy level, health, and well-being. I would recommend Dr. Robinson's practice to anyone who's having sleep problems or breathing problems of any sort. They use state-of-the-art technology to deliver excellent patient care, and they give their undivided attention to each patient on every visit. Outstanding in every way, and my wife's TMJ issues are being addressed quite nicely, too. We're both extremely glad to have been referred to them.

My story started when I underwent a sleep study several years ago, and was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. I have occasional episodes of Atrial Fibrillation, and that alone is reason to treat even mild sleep apnea, so I was fitted with a CPAP device. I made the best of it for a couple years, even though I never slept well with it. On a routine appointment with my "sleep doctor", I told him I would like to get a travel CPAP for convenience when traveling, even though I really disliked the CPAP in general. He suggested I be referred to Dr. Robinson at the Pain and Sleep Therapy Center to be fitted with a mouth appliance that would solve both of my problems. In going through the process of getting the mouth appliance, I came to realize Dr. Robinson is a trailblazer in his field of pain and sleep therapy. His staff is well trained, knowledgeable, and very competent, and the office has state of the art equipment, all of which made me very comfortable and assured me I was doing the right thing. My mouth appliance was ready for my final fitting on December 31, 2019. I have been wearing it every night since. There have been other recommendations from the Pain and Sleep Therapy Center: 1) Application of Xlear Nasal Spray at night and Flonase Nasal Spray occasionally during the day to alleviate congestion, 2) Applying a Breathe Right Nasal Strip every night prior to going to bed to keep my nasal passages clear, 3) Making sure I am not snoring by checking with the SnoreLab app on my cellphone, and 4) Taping my mouth closed (I know, sounds crazy) to prevent mouth breathing, and 5) Getting a device to monitor my sleep; I chose the Apple Watch, and the Sleep++ app on my phone to monitor my sleep. I begin my day by looking at my sleep results throughout the night (% restful sleep, heart rate, and oxygen saturation). The best benefit, aside from addressing my sleep apnea, is that my nasal passages have never been clearer. I never wake up with a stuffed nose, I have no issues breathing during the night, I have had no allergy issues, and I have not had one cold since December 31, 2019. As of this writing, it has been 32 months since I began this program; I have never gone that long without a cold of some sort. It has truly been life changing for me.

We would recommend Dr. Joanna Green over and over again. As first time parents with a newborn who was having feeding difficulties and therefore needed a tongue and lip tie clip at less than 2 weeks old, you could imagine we were overwhelmed and nervous. The entire procedure at this office was seamless. We were quickly given an appointment, the front desk staff were so helpful, the office was bright and clean, Dr. Green's assistant was friendly and informative, as was Dr. Green. She explained everything about the procedure, asked us if we had any questions, and reassured us. The procedure took less than 5 minutes and our baby was just fine afterwards, not even crying when we walked back in to the room! Dr. Green walked us through the exercises to do to ensure proper healing at home and also watched us do them to make sure we understood. We were given appropriate resources to refer to at home and Dr. Green was available and so friendly via text. Our follow up visit was great as well. Cannot say enough positive things about her or all of her staff. Don't hesitate to go here!

Pain and Sleep Therapy has seriously changed my overall sleep and almost completely got rid of my jaw pain and clicking noises. I began treatment because I was waking up exhausted and having bad jaw pain and clicking sounds. I met with Dr. Robinson and was fitted for a night time appliance to help me breathe better at night. I also started myo therapy with the best therapist Daniel. He helped me work on stretching and changing my tongue position and swallowing properly. I have noticed a change in my posture and less shoulder tightness. Dr. Robinson performed a tongue tie release on me and it went great! All the staff are so nice, the office is beautiful and clean and I felt so welcomed and heard with my concerns! I recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their sleep and overall life!

4.8 stars! I'm so happy to have found this center! It truly helped me with my jaw and sleeping issues. My issues are not 100% gone, but now I know many things that could help to manage the pain. (I need to go through other treatments to be completely ok) The service is exceptional and all of the employees are awesome! Shout out to Alyssa! Her attitude and professionalism are great every time!!! Her care made my experience 10 times better! ... talking about going above and beyond! The negative is the cost. Yes, It's pricey to go through the whole thing and I wish in the future this center would look for ways to make it more affordable and/or covered by insurance. Quality shouldn't be expensive every time. I have to wait for my second treatment because it's too expensive for me to afford right now. Overall they're great! Keep it up!!!

A change in medication caused my snoring to increase in intensity, so much, that I was on the verge of sleep divorce. I made an appointment with Pain and Sleep Therapy Center in hopes of getting enough help to sleep with my husband again. Everyone in this office is polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting room is clean and relaxing (very appropriate BTW). The nurses are at the top of the game. Some of the best in the medical business. Dr. Robinson is very personable and well versed in the profession. He told me that he was going to help me get a good night's sleep which was music to my ears. I went through the tests and procedures needed to locate the root cause. I was diagnosed with sleep hypoxia, a smaller hard palate and that I grind my teeth. They fitted me with a custom made mouth piece that is surprisingly comfortable. I was also given helpful hints to get to sleep and stay asleep. It had been a long time since I had slept through the night. We woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and still sleeping in the same bed and we were beyond grateful. Dr. Robinson and his crew literally saved my marriage.

I have been a long-time patient of Dr. Robinsons from his Dentistry at Pike Creek Dental! My family & I have always loved his knowledge and mannerisms! We truly appreciate him & his staff, the way they are so patient & kind, and the way they help me tremendously! His new Pain & Sleep Therapy Office is great with the newest technology, & a relaxing waiting area! I suggest new patients to also get Dr. Robinson's book as I did. I had many similarities to the patient in chapter six. My consultation visit was very thorough Dr. Robinson & his staff focused on me and a plan to help me with my pain & sleeping! Dr. Robinson suggested I start out by seeing there Myofunctional Therapist, Dr. Daniel Drew, who helped me with breathing techniques that work! I have had no jaw pain since! I have & will continue to suggest people who are experiencing sleeping aches & pains to see Dr. Robinson ASAP!

I came for help with my sleep apnea. I was getting up 5 to 6 times a night to urinate which happens when you don't fall into a deep sleep mode and your body does not produce the hormones to tell your kidney to stop processing liquids in your body. Consequently, I was tired much of the day. The P&S Center assessed my airways and jaw and made an appliance to keep my jaw and tongue from dropping back & down, thus blocking my airway and stopping my breathing. I progressed through the shortening of the plastic bands that slowly adjusted my mouth position. After transitioning to the final band size over a period of 8 weeks, I am now only waking up an average of 1.6 times a night to urinate. I am no longer so tired during the day and I'm amazed at how much more energy I have! The table below shows the improvements with the use of increasingly shorter appliance bands. Sorry for the personal details but I had no idea that my frequent urination was due to sleep apnea. I include it here in case someone else finds themselves dealing with the same issue.

We have nothing but great things to say about this office and their staff. Our 1 month old has been seen here and Dr. Green has been more than exceptional. Our daughter had a tongue and lip tie, we were walked through the entire process with confidence. Everything from that point forward has been clear and well thought out. We will continue to come to this office for years to come. It has been a great experience for everyone! 10/10!

Dr. Robinson and his staff have been absolutely wonderful throughout my whole journey of treating my TMJ and sleeping issues. If you want to get to the root of your problem, Dr. Robinson is who you should go to. Around six months ago, I was struggling with TMJ pain, headaches, breathing and sleeping issues. I did my research to correct these issues and not mask them, and I am so grateful to have found Dr. Robinson's office. Both Dan and Nicole have been amazing to work with for Myofunctional and TMJ therapy. They both have done wonders for my treatment and have been super resourceful. I would highly recommend Dr. Robinson and staff to anyone!

I was super nervous knowing my 9 week old need a tongue tie procedure done as I had a terrible experience with my second who slow needed this done. This time I was referred to Dr.Green and her crew and let me tell you it was a totally different experience! Dr.Green and her team took their time I throughly looked at my infants mouth and pallet and discussed in freest detail what procedures were recommended and why. After the procedure they contributed to not only check on my infant but myself. I could not recommend Dr.Green and their office enough!

The sleep apnea mouth device works 100% for me vs. any of the 3 CPAP face & equipment I tried previously. My cardiologist, Dr. Hosmane, recommended Dr. Robinson at Pain & Sleep Therapy. I was very skeptical at first since the 3 CPAP devices recommended from other doctors did not work. I can truly say finding Dr. Robinson & his staff that I now have total relief, sleep restored and most importantly I now experience REM deep sleep. Amazing. Virginia Steele

This is my first time writing a review because I feel like it should be said - I would give zero stars if possible. Prior to appt, I paid HALF ($49) for my consultation. I was told for my in person appt, I would pay the other half (which I thought would be another 49 dollars). This turned out to be $300 out of pocket ($349 total. The $49 that was paid prior was to HOLD my appt. This was not relayed to me). Then for treatment for my "snoring" was going to be essentially a retainer and nasal spray, they wanted $3,500. I literally feel like I walked into their office, handed them 300 dollars and walked out. Be mindful when going here.

Dr Robinson and his staff are excellent! If you want personal care that makes you feel like you're not a number, this is the place to come. I cannot say enough about this place. The staff here knows me by name and they welcome me each visit. They have helped me immensely with my problem. I would not hesitate to come back and see his staff.
