As a Maryland resident for the past 37 years, Dr. Augustine W. Paik graduated from the first dental school in the United States, the University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry in 1984 where he received his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Shortly after, he started his residency at the Womack Army Medical Center. In 1987, Dr. Paik opened his private practice in general dentistry in Rockville, Maryland and has been treating patients for over 25 years ever since! Dr. Paik is a longtime member of several prestigious dental organizations and strives to provide the latest technology and dental innovations such as Cerec crowns and Invisalign for his patients. He enjoys learning the continuous advances in dentistry and places much input into perfecting these skills. With his experience, he volunteers at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry to teach clinical classrooms and is part of the Dean's Faculty.
For as long as Dr. Paik has been treating his patients, he has also been an avid marathon runner. His office is decorated with pictures of Dr. Paik coming in on countless number of finish lines.Dr. Paik is also fond of golf and believes that unwavering exercise is the key to good health.

Dr. Paik and his staff provide exceptional dental service using the the most current techniques and state of the art technologies for his patients. In addition, Dr. Paik and staff are so accommodating around my busy and often unpredictable work schedule, often times coming to work early or staying late just to see me. The staff is so accessible, very friendly and responds quickly to all my needs and questions. The facility is clean and comfortable, and Dr. Paik ensures the best care offering the least amount of pain for his patients. Dr. Paik is without a doubt the best dentist I've ever had!

Dr. Paik and his team are outstanding. From routine checks and teeth cleaning to fillings and a root canal, everything has been painless and completed promptly. Everyone is knowledgeable, caring, polite, and personable. I highly recommend this practice and fully trust Dr. Paik and his team with my oral health.

Terrible! 1) It made us visit multiple times unnecessarily to fill so called "cavities". 2) Take a panorama x ray after all cleaning was done when I exit. This xray information is not discussed with patient, it is probably only use for them get payment from dental insurance company. 3) While I was talking with front desk at check out, she picked up a phone call, speaking in Korea for 3 minutes. Excuse me? 4) When I asked for a receipt for FSA purpose, the front desk lady told me that it is not available, I them asked how long I need to wait to get one? She said , donot know and it depends. Never seen such unprofessional service before!

Dr Paik is extremely unprofessional. He is always in a hurry and due to this mistakes are made in the treatment. There is minimum communication with the patient and you can end up getting a procedure done on you without even knowing about it and when a procedure is done, its a rushed job and not of good quality. Also, in the facility it looks like everyone is running around and just want to get done with the patient and move on to the next. I strongly recommend not going to him.

I've been going to Dr. Paik for 5-6 years now, best dentist I've had. Quick and efficient. Had invisilign done with him and my teeth have looked great for years now. I've been dealing with a chipped tooth lately which he repairs whenever needed.
