Dr. Paige Prather has years of training and experience and she offers a full range of dental services including sedation dentistry, smile makeovers, laser assisted dentistry, six month smiles, and more. All of these services are available in one convenient location.
We are passionate about being productive members of the Franklin business community. We offer dental education for local elementary schools, participate in career days, and Dr. Prather works with mothers who have difficulty nursing due to infant lip or tongue tie. She regularly participates in support groups and blogs to help these parents.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Paige Prather grew up as the oldest child with five younger siblings. She completed her undergraduate degree at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Prather went on to earn her doctor of dental surgery from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Prather loves working one on one with patients to achieve their healthiest smiles, and she especially enjoys helping anxious patients overcome their dental phobias and learn to love visiting the dentist.
Following her doctoral study, Dr. Prather completed a one-year dental residency at the Dayton Veterans Hospital. She then started her successful career as a general dentist, but she spends countless hours each year tackling advanced educational courses that allow her to offer a wide array of treatments all in one location. Dr. Prather has trained with Dr. Ghaheri, Dr. Kaplan, Dr. Kotlow and the late Dr. Fred Margolis on oral ties. She has extensive training in functional appliances and airway health and has learned from Dr. Derrick Nordstom, Lluba Lemke and many others. She gets her passion for dentistry from her father, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon still practicing in Ohio. She began working for her father in the office at the age of 17 and still enjoys learning from him when she is able to make the trip for a visit.
When shes not hard at work improving patients oral health, Dr. Prather is happily married to Matthew Tanksley, a local personal trainer and fitness competitor. She has two sons Jaxson and Samson and a dog named Lexi. In her limited free time, Dr. Prather enjoys running, rollerblading, attending car shows, and trying out new restaurants and wines.
Britany has been working in the dental field for over five years now, having studied at 6th District Dental Assisting. Today, she really enjoys being able to help our patients achieve their goals while also providing them with high-quality care. She feels blessed to work with and for such an amazing doctor/team! Outside of the office, she has two beautiful daughters who keep her on her toes. Some of her favorite hobbies include riding her motorcycle, spending time on the river, fishing, hunting, and shopping.
Jamie joined our practice in 2021, and she has nearly 30 years of dental experience overall! She loves everything about being a hygienistseeing people smile after a cleaning, enjoying that fresh feeling, plus she likes watching kids show off their shining teeth to mom and dad. She graduated from the Northeast Community College Dental Hygiene School and has training in laser dentistry. Jamie and her husband Jamie (yes, they have the same name!) have a son and daughter, and she likes to relax by having a glass of wine at the beach or while watching her favorite show, Chicago P.D.
Charlie has over 15 years of dental experience, and we were thrilled to bring him onto our team in 2020. For him, the job is all about creating beautiful smiles and forming close relationships with our patients and their families. He attended Vol State and has certifications in orthodontic assisting, coronal polishing, OSHA, and HIPAA. When he isnt spending time with his two beautiful children, he likes to be outdoors, whether hes hanging out at the lake, relaxing by the river, or planting flowers in his garden.
Kaitlyn has been with us since 2020, and her job involves getting to know moms and babies on a personal and professional level so she can help them achieve a healthy nursing/feeding relationship. She is a registered dental assistant trained at the Dental Staff School of Tennessee, and she also has a bachelors in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Central Florida. Most of her free time is dedicated to taking care of her two young sons and their pet tortoise. Their favorite thing to do is visit the zoo, and she is also a huge Chicago Cubs fan.

This group of women have done an amazing job taking care of my babies with ties. We couldn't recommend a better place to take babies struggling to eat/causing momma pain while nursing etc because of the ties...they're the best. THE BEST. The issue of tongue ties is new for me, so I have had a lot of questions and they are happy to answer them all. I would always make the effort to drive to Dr. Prather to take care of my kids.

Awful, we have been trying to get a claim submitted through United since August and this office and their third party has still failed to follow through. Twice both we and the insurance company have received incomplete paperwork from this office, ultimately sticking us with a $1200 bill. I get you don't take insurance but to not provide a super bill, date of service and thorough paperwork means you don't care about your clients. 8/23 - we receive incomplete paperwork and claim is denied by United health 10/7 - I call office and I'm assured that the third party will provide paperwork to United - they don't receive it 10/26 - United Heath contacts office, talks to Hailey and is told their third party will provide superbill, tax ID etc. nothing is received.

I was set up to have a root canal and decided it was not the best thing for me. I had paid in advance to save a small percentage and Paige Prather would not give me a refund. She kept $1,595.00 and did no procedure. I did not want to give her a star but I had to. She deserved "0". I go to Nashville Restorative Dentistry in the same area and they are wonderful.

We were so impressed with Dr. Prather and her staff! Everyone was so incredibly kind. She was so honest and helpful. I think I asked about 100 questions, and she never made me feel rushed or like my concerns didn't matter. We will definitely be back!

Dr. Prather and the staff were absolutely incredible. So warm and welcoming. Made the getting process of getting our our daughters tongue tie fixed less dramatic and a better experience overall. They are smooth and efficient and were so kind. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Prather and her team are phenomenal. We had to have our daughter's lip, tongue, and cheek tie revised and we couldn't have asked for a better procedure or care team. We love that Dr. Prather has a holistic approach and treated us like friends even upon o first meeting. Her team Prepared us for what to expect from the first call and allowed us to ask all of our questions with patience and kindness. We would recommend Dr. Prather and her team for anyone and we will Even start driving 40 minutes just to have her do our dental work and check ups. We are so glad we found her!

Wow!! Incredible office. After two months of majorly struggling with feedings for my baby we finally have the problem fixed. Dr. Prather and her staff were EXCELLENT and helped me feel so at ease even as my newborn was having to have a procedure done. After having her tongue and lip ties dealt with she is already nursing like a pro just hours later! Couldn't be more pleased.

Dr. Prather and her staff were amazing in the way they handled my one year old's lip tie. Performing a revision at his age was very difficult, but they handled my son in both a caring and professional manner. It was a great experience. If your child needs a revision, Dr. Prather is the best!

Dr. Prather is an amazing dentist - even more so because she has helped two of my babies with lip & tongue ties. The first child was done 3+ years ago & saved our breastfeeding journey. This time i didn't waist any time. I called her while we were still in the hospital to schedule a consult & revision in the same day. Thankfully i did because he needed revisions as well. She's quick & easy and of course great with my babies. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do this procedure. I would choose this method of treatment over allowing my pediatrician or the hospital do this procedure. Healing is quick & bleeding is minimal!

Dr. Prather was wonderful. Her team was very professional, helpful and made me feel comfortable. She was able to determine the reason behind continued pain I was having in my mouth and body. She devised a treatment plan to help me. I am truly grateful for her expertise and look forward to having Dr. Prather relieve my suffering in the near future.

We came in for sleep apnea/jaw concerns and are very happy with the initial care we've received. At our initial appointment, all the staff and Dr Prather took time to listen to and address all our concerns. They put my 7 year old son completely at ease. Their examination/consultation is very thorough and their manner is friendly and personable with children. We are looking forward to our next visit and receiving all the help we need for this issue.
