Dr. Pai and Dr. Ishioka are an amazing team and treat their patients like family. When my oldest daughter injured her jaw and cracked several teeth in a fall, Dr. Pai and Dr. Ishioka walked us through the entire process. They came in on their time off to treat her, called us after hours to check on her, helped her schedule appointments with the oral surgeon and endodontist, and have done an incredible job repairing her teeth. Throughout the entire process, they have been so caring and supportive. They helped us through a very scary situation that would have been even more traumatic if we hadn't had such amazing doctors to lean on for guidance and support. It is rare to find healthcare professionals who are so skilled at what they do and so compassionate at the same time. We feel blessed.

This is the best dentist ever. I have been to so many in my life and they are by far the best .I highly recommend DR NELSON PAI and DR SUSAN ISHIOKA .

Dr. Susan Ishioka, Dr. Pai's spouse, is the subject of this review. My daughters had been told by two other orthodontists that they needed braces. Just two days before they were to start at HD Orthodontics, I got an appt for a consult with Dr. Ishioka, lovingly called Dr. Susan. The clinic was spotless, spacious and welcoming. After the extra cautious cleaning procedures, Dr. Susan took time to look, really observe, my daughters' facial structure, teeth, alignment, and even how they swallowed. What deeply touched me, and my tear ducts, was how she told one that she had a beautiful smile, that people would die for that smile, that the alignment was zipper perfect, and that from the little time she knew her, that she was a kind, smart person. Covid has been hard on the teens and this was nectar for the heart. And get this... she does NOT need braces! She only needs to train herself to swallow with her tongue touching her upper palate instead of pushing against her front teeth (which causes a slight overbite). The 2nd teen had a similar affirming, empowering experience and only needs a top mouth guard (she's been teeth grinding) instead of braces! Pleasant surprises and stunning experiences. It's like going to an honest, skilled mechanic who affirms the beauty and functionality of your cars and says no work needed. She's a rare gem. Wish we could clone 1000's of Dr. Ishioka. Domo arigatou gozaimasu!
