Pagosa Smiles is an amazing dental office. Dr. Rutherford, Judy, Pam, and Selena were kind, professional, and accommodating. Never before have I had such a wonderful experience. I harbor a lot of anxiety when going to the dentist due to past traumatic incidents. Fortunately every staff member at Pagosa Smiles was empathetic and willing to put me at ease. In fact, the Dr. and staff were so kind that I got fitted for crowns on my first visit. The procedure was smooth and painless. I will definitely continue to get all cleanings and work done at Pagosa Smiles!

I highly recommend Pagosa Smiles Dentistry for all your dental needs. I recently completed the FASTBRACES treatment and was so impressed with the comfort, ease and rapidity with which my smile (and proper alignment and function of my teeth) improved. The front office staff are all professional, courteous and go out of their way to be friendly, warm and welcoming at every visit. Dr Jordan Rutherford is an excellent dentist in all respects. He has warm personal interaction skills and demonstrates a genuine interest in the lives of his patients. He communicates clearly in discussing his findings, treatment plan and answers questions regarding your care in understandable language. Dr Rutherford's professional and technical skills are quite evident, and he always makes sure that his patients are comfortable throughout any procedures that may be required. His chair side assistants are obviously professionally trained to the highest degree. They are also friendly, interactive and supportive throughout the course of your visit. As a team, Dr Rutherford and his staff allow patients to feel confident that their dental problems will be thoroughly addressed and professionally resolved. The entire staff is awesome. They're friendly, welcoming and accommodating with great communication skills. The best part, it only took 4 1/2 months to get my perfect smile back. I highly recommend getting "fast braces" if you are not satisfied with your smile.

Pagosa Smiles has become my dentist in Pagosa Springs. I started my Fastbraces in March of 2022 and by July of the same year they had completely improved my position of the teeth and therefore my Smile. The staff along with Dr. Rutherford is great to work with. Each person I have met at their office is caring and professional. A complete written estimate was given to me before I started the program. I give them 5 stars for their great service and kindness.

I entirely forgot to write a review until I received a birthday greeting in the mail! Where to even start.. okay, so for the TL;DR: Pagosa Smiles is the best dentist experience I've ever had, bar none. Go see Dr. Rutherford if you need dental work and are in the area. Longer version: I was on a month long overlanding trip and while camping in the Pagosa Springs area, cracked a molar and was in excruciating pain. I called around and no one could take me within a couple days except the fine folks at this dental office. They scheduled me the following day, a Friday. Thank the heavens, as I could not last the weekend. I was greeted with warmth and genuine care for the situation I was in, understanding it was an emergency and I could not travel home to a different state to have it done. A root canal was needed, just great. In about 3 hours, from the moment I walked in the door, the procedure was complete. Miraculously, like seriously I could not believe, that I had no pain. Some tenderness, sure. That's expected. That same morning I hiked around chimney rock, and wandered around nearby wolf creek.. all without any lingering pain from the procedure. I continued the rest of my trip through Utah and back to Arizona completely filled to the brim with adventure, all because Dr. Rutherford and the folks at Pagosa smiles took wonderful care of me. Thank you all again so much.

Never in a million years would I have guessed that at my age I could get braces and end up with a beautiful smile. Thanks to wonderful Dr. Rutherford and his entire fabulous staff, I have just that. And it took less than a year, I might add. Thank you, Dr. Rutherford and everyone in your office. You all ROCK!

Dr. Rutherford and his staff are amazing, friendly and always make you feel welcome. I went with Fastbraces a few months ago and just got them off and now my smile is perfect. Also needed a few fillings on a couple front teeth that were chipped. He and his staff are gentle and they thoroughly explain everything they are doing beforehand and as they are working on you. They truly have provided the best dental experience I've ever had!!
