As an orthodontist whos been seeing patients since 1987, I have had the unique opportunity to positively change many lives. I am constantly reminded of this when I encounter former patientsout in the community: I may have last seen them years ago, but theyre still sharing that beautiful set of teeth thats made it easy for them to smile!

I am passionate about helping each patient to achieve the smile he or shedesires, in a comfortable and efficient manner. Because I am skilled in a wide range of orthodontic techniques, I am able tocustomize care in a way that is perfect for each patients specific concerns and goals.

While I love crafting remarkable smiles, I derive much of my pleasure from the daily interactions with my patients and their families. I love working with children, teens, and adults of all ages: everyone has stories to share and dreams to confide, and I appreciate those exchanges.

I am proud of my staff and all they do to ensure our patients are heard, engaged, and excited about treatment. Each is conscientious and professional, yet theyre also warm, kind, and personable. I like hearing them laugh and joke with our patients, how they connect with people and makes sure everyone feels welcome, and how they keep our office filled with smiles!

When Im not working, I enjoy time with my family and all their activities. My wife Courtney and I have three childrenMadden, Laney, and Betsyalong with a dog and a rabbit. I also like working on my childhood farm, working in the yard, traveling with family, and tailgating at football games in the fall.

I am passionate about helping the town where I live and where I grew up to be a better place to live. I am a founding member of the Murfreesboro Breakfast Rotary Club, which was formed in 1988, and I served as president from 2006-07. This organization allows me to help various groups in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County, as well as support many international causes.

Outside of work, I love to travel with my husband of more than 30 years, Jack. Being a military brat and wife for my whole life is probably why I enjoy visiting new places and trying new things. My priority, when I have down time, is being with Jack, as well as our two sons, daughter-in-law, and our grandchildren.

The greatest loves in my life are my boyfriend Ashley and my two teenagers, Austin and Anna Grace, along with his two daughters, Allie and Anslie. We have a farm and just built our home in Shelbyville where we have walking horses and enjoy going to horse shows and coon hunting. We love traveling to the mountains and the beach, and value time with our family and friends.

In this position, I foster all of our external office relationships with local dentists, referring doctors, as well as coordinate events we host or participate in. I am responsible for creating all of our marketing graphics, including our patient contests and social media posts. I am a people person to my core, love networking, being creative, and laughing often--I've been told people can hear me laugh before they see me!

When I'm not at work, I'm enjoying my time with my boyfriend, Ed, and all four of our kids between us--Knox, Cecily, Hailey & Ethan. Cooking, watching Guy's Grocery Games, playing with our doggy, Blue, and spending time with friends are some of our favorite things.
