Brief Professional Experience Dr. Hussainy has successfully completed residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. He completed his six month Medicine rotation at King Drew Medical Center, his four month Anesthesia rotation at UCLA Harbor, and finally his four month rotation in General Surgery also at UCLA Harbor. As a senior and chief resident, his surgical rotations at King Harbor Medical Center, Harbor UCLA Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente have offered extensive experience in Dento-alveolar Surgery, Dental Implants, Outpatient General Anesthesia, Maxillofacial Trauma, Maxillofacial Pathology and Reconstruction, Orthognathics, TMJ Surgery, and Plastics. He is currently working full time as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in San Diego and on staff in Alvarado Hospital. He practices full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Hussainy is Board Certified with American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

I had a minor surgery with Dr. Hussainy and was so glad I came to him. I had gone to multiple surgeons to take a look at it, but Dr. Hussainy was the most knowledgeable and clearly explained the procedure. It was totally painless, and everything was explained extremely well. The staff and everyone there made the process go incredibly smooth and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better procedure. hate needles, surgeries, and that's why that's partly why I avoided getting it taken care of for so many years but they really managed to work with me and ensure that I was good. Highly recommend this doctor.

This place is absolutely excellent. The doctors are the absolute best in this industry. They have the most modern and cutting edge procedures/technology. I got my wisdom teeth taken out at age 32 and it was the easiest experience imaginable. Super kind and helpful staff

My dentist referred me to this place for extraction and implant. I was skeptical at first because I knew I will undergo dental surgery and it'll be painful. However, I overcame that feeling with the care of all the staff in this office. They were all pleasant to deal with and truly gave me the assurance that I will be taken care of. Dr. Hussainy is very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and explained every procedure so I knew what to expect. The pain is one thing, but when you're well taken care of, it negates that feeling of doubt and fear.

I highly recommend seeing Dr. Hussainy for any pain you may be feeling. He's clearly a master at what he does. I went to see him after suffering from TMJ Disorder for over 5 weeks. After 4 ER visits and multiple other doctors one dentist recommended Dr. Huissainy and he saw me right away. I got a TMJ arthrocentesis procedure done here and felt immediately better the next day. His entire staff was very kind, especially nurse Jenny. She helped me feel especially taken care of during the entire procedure.

I was there for my wisdom teeth removal . Very happy with their service . Doctor Hussainy was very nice and patient . Offered me sedation because I was very nervous . Francisco is the best assistant . He did my IV sedation and I went to sleep . When I woke up everything was done . Doctor even gave me his after hour number to call Just in case for emergency . To sum up everything from A to Z was done professionally and I highly recommend them to everyone .

I was referred to Dr. Hussainy from my son's orthodontist for an impacted canine. He did an amazing job - made a complex procedure very easy for my son. His staff was very professional and the office was very well managed. We had exceptional care and Dr Hussainy really is a top notch professional. We are grateful for the after care and concern shown when we got home. The Dr. called several times and the post op visit went smoothly.

If you value your time, don't come to this place. After waiting for one hour and a half, I left the office without seeing the doctor and explanation or an apology. My worst experience in an office so far.

Dr husssiny took great care of my surgery . I was able to go back to work 2 days after so it was perfect for my busy lifestyle Provided me after hour number and really professional post surgery care . I highly recommend this office to everyone and Dr. HUSSAINY YOU ARE AMAZINGLY AMAZING. Thank you.

My dentist recommended me here for my wisdom teeth exam, and I was so scared because oh the title "oral surgery." But I was pleasantly surprised. From the people at the front desk to the assistants in the back, my experience was top notch

I saw Dr.Hussainy at western dental I got a tooth pulled and bone grafting my face was swollen for months.I had continuous appointments which after the last one he told me he doesn't know what to tell me and my face being swollen wont go away. there instruments were probably dirty and not been dis infected is probably why I still have infection 10/10 wouldn't recommend

Definitely one of the best experiences I have had at a medical office! The front staff Amy and Melissa are very helpful and kind. I feel very comfortable here with all of my dental benefits and needs. Amy the financial coordinator gave me a great breakdown of my benefits and helped me with my payment options. The doctor made me feel very comfortable in the room as well. 10/10 will be returning and highly suggest everyone to check them out!

Definitely recommend this place!!!! Dr is so professional and nice. The office looks great and she got a great team. The assistant shayan took my xrays really fast and with out any problems for me. I took my wisdom theeth out there and absolutely loved the experience.

I saw Dr. Hussainy for wisdom teeth extractions, my experience was great. It was the first time I was going under anesthesia so I was very nervous, but once I met the Dr my nerves eased, he thoroughly explained the procedure to me, then I met with Amy, she explained how my insurance worked, after that they took me back to start the procedure, his 2 assistants were very kind! The entire staff was very nice, my procedure went very well, and the following day I received a call from his office to check in on me which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this office!!

The oral surgeon, Mirwais Hussainy, was extremely rude. After waiting an extremely long time in order to see him for the consultation, he gave me less than 5 minutes and was aggressive towards my questions. He seemed to be annoyed and acted condescending whenever I tried to ask questions about the details. Last I checked, asking questions and getting the doctor's opinion/ knowledge is an normal part of the consultation. For example, when I asked him about the details of getting my wisdom teeth removes, he responded with comments like "You can either get it removed or it is just going to rot anyway!" in an aggressive tone. For the record, I was going to get it removed anyway but I just wanted to learn what was going on and know the details. The guy doesn't seem to know anything about respect. I consulted with another oral surgeon who had much better bedside manner and decided to have my teeth removed there. I don't want to work with someone this disrespectful (too bad I already wasted some money getting the x-rays/ consultation in his office but I won't give him any more money). I would strongly recommend going to another oral surgeon for your healthcare needs. Update: I just wanted to respond to the owner's reply. It is unfortunate that Dr.Hussaimy felt the need to respond to criticism by making up stories and telling boldfaced lies. Perhaps, you should try actually making improvements instead. I actually question if you even knew who I am before making false claims about my experience. I did receive a bill from your office in the mail for over $100 and that's just a fact. Also, I never had any problems with your staff (male or female). My only issue is with the doctor/ owner. Actually, I spoke very little to to your staff and certainly never acted hostile in any way. The interaction was largely limited to routine questions, doing what was asked of me, and filling out the requested paperwork. I actually thought that besides the doctor, all the other staff were totally fine. Also, for the record, you were willing to treat me (and there was no indication that changed) but then I decided to find another doctor instead. Now that I wrote my review, you make up these details where you are supposedly unwillingly to treat me for bad behavior. The way that you responded to my review, by being completely dishonest, just reinforces the importance of having written this review and letting people know what exists beneath the facade of Dr.Hussainy.

We got to know these people through other friends who took their kids there for their impacted teeth removal . Same as all other parents on this page I was very worried. When it comes to put your kids under sedation , you want to know who you really can trust . From the family of medical providers, I evaluated them step by steps . From the front , Amy is very professional and she knows insurances and Billings well . In back office , Francisco was on top of the game . Doctor Hussainy came and did his IV himself . He removed my daughter impacted teeth very fast and time efficient. They called me in the room when my daughter was waking up . I never saw these equipments in any other offices . They have hospital setting there . After operation, they provided me post care instruction step by step . They even gave me doctor number not just office number like other offices . Prescription was called to our neighborhood pharmacy as well . I will put some pictures that I took at the day of surgery so you can see quality of their care ! I highly recommend them . Very clean, professional and very fair prices for top notch work .

Love this office! From post to pre op they excel in every aspect. The office is clean and everyone I interacted with is knowledgeable and kind. I had all four wisdom teeth extracted, two of which were impacted, and it has been a mostly painless experience. I am shocked, I would recommend to all for their surgical needs

Best Doctor and staff I have ever been too. Dr. Hussainy is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares for your well being. He will go above and beyond to be sure you receive adequate needs. Dr. Hussainy Thankyou for your services and your kindness. Amie, the office manager is such a great communicator and is passionate about her staff and position. She is so sweet, and makes you feel like you're like family. I love Amie, and I'm so grateful to be apart of this office. Melissa, in the front office is always so happy and cheerful. Went here because my dentist referred me for my wisdom teeth extraction. I waited an hour for the doctor to see me and he told me that I'd need a sinus graft which would cost an extra $800. The whole quote was over double the price of the place I went for a second opinion However, the front desk lady was very nice and helpful in getting me my deposit back.

This place is absolutely wonderful my daughter Shae works here and she has nothing but great things to say about all her coworkers and the doctor. She is always bragging about how much she loves working there. Amy the office manager is so sweet and attentive. I recommend this place totally the establishment is extremely clean and well-kept and the doctor keeps you well-informed !!10 stars from me!
