Very friendly and welcoming staff! Loved the atmosphere while in the waiting room and the energy. Beautiful views of Santa Monica while in the patient rooms was an added bonus! Will definitely continue coming here.

Kari is very friendly, knowledgeable, and takes the proper time with each patient. Really one of the best dental experiences, and you can treat yourself afterwards to something from Erewhon across the street.

You can stop looking. This is your dentist. She is brilliant about all things dental health, the staff is lovely & she does not try to upsell. I went in braced for a huge expensive surgery recommendation & walked out shocked at the very affordable, less aggressive & more efficient treatment. The doctor is more charming & interesting than anyone at the last 3 dinner parties I've attended. Which made my nervousness non-existent.

I just had 3 cavities filled, Dr Sakurai and her friendly staff were amazing.. I had anxiety about getting procedure done and told her I was nervous about having 3 cavities done at once but after having all three filled I was absolutely amazed thinking she had only finished one and was so relieved to be able to just do all three in one visit so quickly and they look great! I'm a fairly new patient and have always struggled with not knowing if I would end up with a good dentist as I've heard some horror stories, and also had some unpleasant experiences as well! So I'm very thankful I found her! She has a great energy , genuine , patient and attentive, and she did an amazing job!

January 2021: Dr Sakarai was very attentive and took excellent precaution. I received a survey 2 hours prior to my appointment asking health and covid related questions. I called from my parked vehicle as instructed and was okayed to enter dental office. I was the only patient when entering the waiting room. My temperature was taken and UVC decontamination was performed. They also had me do a hydrogen peroxide rinse before starting procedure. Mask, gloves, and face shield was worn by staff. I felt very comfortable with the visit.

Dr. Sakurai and her staff were, as always, friendly and professional. She explains what she is doing every step of the way, so I'm never surprised or worried. Her quiet encouragement over the years have resulted in stellar check-ups. And I love going home with my "goodie bag"! Many thanks!

Once again visiting the office is AMAZING! I was truly that one that was so scared of the dentist I literally cried first seeing Dr. Sakurai. Then when I left that first visit I had tears of joy and hope that I would smile bright again. And I do everyday! My daughter who is also a patient and me travel from San Diego just to see Dr. Sakurai. She and the office is worth every minute!! Thank you for everything!!!

I have been a happy patient for over 25 years. Excellent dentist that provides great care and attention to your needs. Appointments are timely and staff is courteous. Dr. Sakurai is highly recommended!

Going to the dentist is no longer a negative experience. It's like Disneyland for your death and enero y Adventureland. Everything is state of art plus the expertise and gentle hands of Dr. Sukari.

DDS Sakurai was fantastic. I have not been the the dentist in quite a while. Iwas welcomed by her staff, very efficient and checking me in. All safety protocals for COVID 19 were in place. Dr Sakuri was very gentle did a thorough check on me, took ex rays, and a 3d computer model was made. A temp fix was placed in my tooth ( the reason I came) unitil my next appoinment which I am looking forward too. Best dentist visit ever.

By any measurable standard Pacific View Smile Center is the best dental practice in Southern California. But it's the people there - Kari Sakurai and her staff - that really set them apart. They really take great care of every patient. Our family has been with them for over 20 years. Highly highly recommend. Five Stars.

I spent last night looking on Yelp for a dentist who was open on Saturday and took emergencies. Dr. Sakurai had wonderful reviews, especially from those who normally suffer from dental phobias (which I do). I called and the front desk was great and arranged for me to come in within the hour! Dr. Sakurai was kind, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. I've already talked to two other friends about making the switch! Thank you!!

I just LOVE going to the dentist....something you don't hear very often! But when the dentist is Dr. Sakurai, it becomes a pleasure to go! I looked for a VERY long time to find a good dentist in Santa Monica and it feels so good to know that I can stop searching.

Kari and her team are the best. I'm the guy who wears black pants to the dentist office because I embarrassingly sweat through my pants with anxiety over the dental process (needles) ... but Kari is the most gentle human in the world and knows all the tricks to make the experience painless and dare I say very pleasant! If I didn't live in LA, I would fly here to see her as opposed to trusting my mouth and my fears to any other dentist. Sincerely. Now please do not read this so that you don't become a patient and take up valuable slots to get to see her! :)
