Dr. Parmar completed her Prosthodontics and AEGD Preceptorship Program from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and is a graduate from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM) with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). In addition, she has also graduated from an esteemed Dental University in India where she spent years treating the unprivileged society. Dr. Parmar is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. She has dedicated her career passionately practicing family dentistry including Invisalign, endodontics, implant restorations and cosmetic dentistry in India, Pennsylvania and now in California.
As a child, Dr. Parmar experienced some congenital tooth abnormalities and knows firsthand how dental concerns can affect confidence. She enjoys the experience of being able to provide instant gratification with a healthy, beautiful smile. Dr. Parmar is certified in Invisalign and in Six Months Smile for addressing orthodontic concerns.
Dr. Nirmal Shah is an Epidemiologist as well as a General Dentist. He obtained his Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree from Emory University, Atlanta, GA and is also a graduate from the University of Colorado where he attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. In addition, he also graduated from an acclaimed Dental School in India and has served several years both in India and USA to provide care for the unprivileged community before moving with his family to California. Dr. Shah is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Diego Dental Society.
Possessing a jovial nature and pleasant demeanor, Dr. Shah is equipped to deliver artistic and quality dental care. His minute attention to detail and a panoramic view of patients needs allows him to effective devise a long-lasting cosmetic treatment plan encompassing all aspects of dentistry. He keeps himself abreast with all the recent advances like Teeth-In-A-Day, Implants, Veneers and Full Mouth Reconstruction. You will find him presenting patients multiple treatment options with cost and outcome comparisons so the patient will be empowered to decide what best treatment suites their needs.
Considering his outgoing personality, Dr. Shah is comfortable with individuals from diverse backgrounds. He would probably be a counselor, if not a dentist, considering his unique skill of listening to others and helping them with their problems.
Dr. Shah has also acquired his fellowship at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at the office of Smoking and Oral Health. He research interest includes Secondhand Smoke Exposure and Cigarette Smoking Among Adults and its effect on oral health.
Dr. Sharafi obtained his dental degree at the University of Maryland Dental School. He went on to finish his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at University of Maryland Medical Center and R. Adam Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Dr. Sharafi has trained extensively in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and benign head and neck pathology and reconstructive dental implantology.
Dr. Sharafi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, San Diego Dental Society, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Academy of Osseointegration
Dr. Sharafi is one of a handful of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in California who holds the California Cosmetic Surgery License due to his comprehensive training in cosmetics and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Sharafi is also an evaluator for the California Dental Board for General Anesthesia Permits offered to other Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Sharafi has privileges at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego.

Both Dr's Shah and Dr Parmar are highly professional and extremely proficient. I've had multiple cleanings and at least two crowns set by this team and they were all painless and quick. The atmosphere is friendly and fun. Thank you for taking such good care of my family.

Super personable, thorough dentists. They have been able to work around my schedule to fit me in for all of my dental work. Dr. Avani was my dentist for all of my oral work and always made me feel comfortable and has a great sense of humor. She successfully performed a root canal and several filings in just the last couple months, she always made sure that I was doing alright and walked me through each step of what work she would she doing on my teeth next. I would definitely recommend their practice to anyone in the area!

Came in as a walk-in patient for an overdue cleaning and was accommodated very nicely later that same day ! I have been on extended travels and could not return to my regular dentist. Dr. Parmar and Dr. Lydia ( I didn't recall the last name) did a full exam and sonic cleaning. Both were very knowledgeable, nice, efficient, and personable! Very happy with the results although it was not cheap ( I'm self insuring these days ) at around $250 it ended up worthwhile as sometimes its hard to even get an appointment when traveling-- lucky there was a cancellation or something. Highly recommend this dental office!

Dr. Parmar is a very careful, diligent and experienced dentist. She made me feel extremely comfortable while she performed deep teeth cleaning. Her staff is also very friendly and responsible. Overall I had a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend her dental services.

Amazing Service and Great Staff. I would surly recommend them to my Friends and Family. Dr. Parmar is excellent and makes me feel so relaxed and comfortable every time, I go see them. I have also had the pleasure to have my teeth work done by Dr. Shah when Dr. Parmar had all her appointments booked up. There are so great, they take such good of their patients. They are both amazing and wonderful. when I super excited & nervous for my procedure, Dr. Shah was able to Calm me down very quickly. Even their Staff is very good, they are prompt in replying any messages.

The staff is so welcoming and Dr. Parmar is amazing. I didn't feel bored throughout the appointment and would definitely recommend this place. I was given some good suggestions on what I should do to take care of my teeth better. There is plenty of parking too which is not something you can often find in PB.

New to San Diego moved from colorado so was looking for a dentist and came across these guys at pacific smile krafters was so comfortable during my visit great staff actually spend time to explain everything and did a fablous job highly recommend them to everyone. Dr.Shah was phenomenal!He is the poster-child for how patients should be treated.He was very friendly,caring,and took the time to explain in detail ever step he was performing.In addition,he did a superb job on my teeth! Great job with injecting the anaesthetic, draining the gums of the infected tooth, and cleaning my teeth!He was also extremely knowledgeable.Dental office and clinic was very clean and presentable.Follow up from the dental office to see how I was doing the day after the procedure was also something that impressed me deeply! My experience could not have been any better!I look forward to coming back here for all my dental needs in the future!

The staff was super friendly and responsive. Dr Shah was great, always made sure I was comfortable, even had a few jokes, which was great. When we were done with the cleaning educated me about my teeth, let me know his suggestions and my options but did not make me feel pressured to do anything that wasn't necessary.

I came in at 4 PM after not going to the dentist for 4+ years. The staff was super friendly and helpful, got a filling, x-rays, and deep cleaning for pretty much every corner of my mouth. All done around 6:15 (pretty fast for dental work), didn't feel a thing, and they stayed much later than I'm sure they wanted to. Never once did they make me feel unwelcome or like a burden, and they were upfront and honest about the state of my teeth and treatment. Very kind, very funny, I can't imagine going somewhere else in the area.
