We have been coming to Dr. You for the past 6 years and she has been marvelous. She has always been so kind, patient and thoughtful with our fast growing 3 sons. Dr. You is an exemplary dentist that every family should have. Thank you Dr. You and staff for taking such great care of our kids smiles!

Would give them 10 stars if I could. We had a great first visit with our shy 2 year old. They were so patient and respected him as a person and got him comfortable enough for a full exam. They explained everything clearly along the way and made the experience extremely positive. Would highly recommend them for any young kids.

I never thought I'd actually love a dentist but I do love this office! Dr. You and her staff have a made "going to the dentist" something my seven year old looks forward to, and she has been there since her first checkup at 1 yr. She just had her first filling and said it was a "piece of cake". Highly recommend!

This was our first experience at Pacific Pediatric Dentistry, and we were very happy with the care we received. We took in our newborn for a tongue tie consult and we were pleasantly surprised when the doctor was right on time. She was very quick and explained the procedure well. I was so happy with the experience that I went ahead and made an appointment for my toddler to have his first ever dentist appointment.

Went to her for years without a problem-because my kiddo never needed more than standard twice a year cleaning and x-rays. Once there was a real issue-night grinding-she was beyond inept. When asked what causes night grinding, she told me stress; and recommended making a costly acrylic night guard, that would need to be remade several times a year. I took her word, as a medical professional. The day after we received the first acrylic night guard, I had a lay conversation with my dentist about my kiddo getting a night guard for night grinding. She asked me if my kiddo snored-I said yes. She said I should have him checked for sleep apnea; as night grinding is a key symptom of sleep apnea in children, and can lead to conditions such as ADHD [which my child has]. Dr. You was aware that my child had ADHD and took sleeping pills to counter the stimulant effect of his ADHD medication; and yet never recommended getting a sleep study done before prescribing the acrylic night guard. The connection between sleep apnea and night grinding is not new research-it has been a prevalent topic in dentistry for nearly a decade. I went to my pediatrician-who told me not to use the night guard. I went to an ENT-who told me not to use the night guard. We had a sleep study, and my child was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I am very lucky my child never used the night guard-as it could have very possibly killed him, by preventing him from night grinding-which children with sleep apnea do to keep their airway open to breathe. If you want a pediatric dentist, because you think a pediatric dentist would be the best to give you relevant health advice concerning dentistry for your child-you really don't want to go to Dr. You. If you want a pediatric dentist because you like paying twice as much for dentistry services, and only need regular cleanings for your kids-then she's perfect.

Today I went with my daughter for my grand daughter's first dental visit. It was a very comfortable first experience. Everyone was friendly and very professional because we where actually late to the appointment. Dr You is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all questions. Everyone is gentle and patient and take their time. We didnt feel rushed at all. I can't recommend them enough. A wonderful experience for everyone. My grand daughter was happy and relaxed. If other practices would operate like this then the fear of going to the dentist would be a thing of the past. So if your looking for a great dental home for your child you can not go wrong choosing this practice. To everone that assisted us today I just want to thank you for making this a great first experience for her and thank you for the picture.

I'm just going to agree with the poster that mentioned the rude office staff. It's very true and unfortunately just turns me off from this practice entirely.

I have been using Pacific Pediatric Dentistry since my oldest daughter first needed a dentist. She's now 35. There has never been a bad experience for her or my other 3 children who have gone there. The youngest is 15 and I still use Pacific Pediatric Dentistry. If you ask them, they will tell you that they love going to the dentist. I have Pacific Pediatric Dentistry to thank for this. They have been wonderful for the last 30 years and still are.

We have been a patient here for several years and have always had excellent experiences. Dr You is very kind, knowledgeable and skilled with children. Today, Mercia was our dental assistant, continuing our faith in Dr You's office by treating my daughter with kindness, humor and patience. My Daughter said on the way out, "Wow, that went by really fast and didn't hurt at all". Dr You and her staff, especially Mercia, are highly recommmended for any child's dental needs.
