We are committed to providing optimum, long-term dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and persons with special needs.
We understand that children need to feel comfortable in a dental office, and our office is specifically designed to do just that! We have an open bay treatment area, kid-friendly decor, a play area stocked with toys and games, and TV screens above each operatory. In addition, we approach every child and family with respect, explaining each step of each child's dental care in age-appropriate terms.
Benjamin Sun considers himself incredibly blessed to be doing what he loves most- working with kids! It is such a privilege to wake up each day and see the smiling faces of children from so many different walks of life, and to watch them grow up.
Dr. Sun is a proud native of Seattle, Washington. Having grown up in Shoreline, Washington, he earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Washington, and continued his graduate education at the University of Southern California, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Sun was deeply inspired by frequent dental mission trips to Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala, and thus felt called to be pursue specialized training in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Sun was accepted to the highly regarded pediatric dental program at the Childrens Hospital Boston and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he completed his residency and earned his certification in pediatric dentistry before moving back home to Seattle. He is also board certified in pediatric dentistry, a member of many dental associations, and stays current on the latest dental research.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Sun has many passions and hobbies. He especially loves spending time with wife and 2 children, Dylan and Naomi, whether it be hiking, watching the Seahawks, or traveling the world. He is also the proud father to the famous tooth-brushing pug, Tyson! Dr. Sun is very active in his church and serves as a counselor for the youth group together with his wife. He also enjoys playing basketball, biking, and enjoying good food!
