Through her own experiences as an orthodontic patient, Dr. Doppel became interested in helping others achieve a healthy, beautiful smile. She completed high school early and began her college education at the age of 16. She graduated from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio with her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. She then went on to the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry where she graduated at the top of her class with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Doppel moved to the beautiful Northwest from her home state of Maryland to complete her Master of Science in Dentistry, Orthodontics from the University of Washington in 1990.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Doppel feels it is important to integrate state-of-the-art technology with evidence-based scientific knowledge and maintains memberships in many professional organizations to keep up-to-date. She has published articles in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and The Angle Orthodontist. Dr. Doppel was the first woman to be admitted into the Northwest Component of the prestigious Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. Her research on maxillary superimposition techniques has been cited by the American Board of Orthodontics and is the current method recommended in their directions for submission of records for Board Certification.

Along with running her own practice, Dr. Doppel has returned to teaching as an Affiliate Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Washington. She also volunteers her time and talents to Smiles Change Lives, an organization that donates orthodontic services to deserving children from low-income families who otherwise cannot afford treatment. She diligently serves her patients with compassion, commitment to excellence, and dedication to lifelong continuing education and learning.

Getting to go on this journey with our patients is amazing! Seeing the patients gorgeous smile at the end of their treatment lets us know that we really are making a positive difference in our patients lives.

Molly has been in the dental field since 1998 and LOVES it!! She graduated from Eton Technical Institute and has found that her favorite area of dentistry is orthodontics by far. In her eyes, orthodontics is like watching a caterpillar turn into a butterfly. A lot of patients come to see us not liking to smile. By the end of their treatment, they are smiling from ear to ear. BEAUTIFUL!!!

During Mollys free time she enjoys raising her son and spoiling her pup, Hazel, and kitty, Coco. Molly is a family girl. She loves to spend time with her family BBQing and just being together. She feels so blessed to have her family close by

Ricks dental career began while enlisted in the US Navy where he was placed on board the USS Sacramento in the 2 operatory dental clinic. He gained a wealth of experience in the dental field while traveling the world. After his stint in the Navy, he settled in Seattle. He loved working at an amazing, busy Downtown dental office for 32 years until his boss retired. Having known Dr. Doppel for 20+ years, he joined our team when he learned we had an opening.

Tori graduated from dental assisting school in 2015. From there she went straight into the orthodontic field and cant imagine doing anything else. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is following along with each patients journey and watching their confidence grow as they get the smile theyve always wanted. She spends most of her free time camping with her husband and family. When they are not camping she is either making cookies, crafting or playing tennis.

From the moment we walked in the door we were immediately humbled by all of the homeless woman who were anxiously waiting to receive their pair. The team of Marys Place expressed a tremendous amount of gratitude informing us that we couldnt have donated at a better time. Little did we know, the 500 plus pairs of socks suddenly became the ONLY inventory they had in stock. If it wasnt from all of you dropping by and mailed packages, we would not have been able to make this happen! Thank you all again and we invite you to participate and become our socks partners for Marys Place in our next drive that will take place in October!
