is a native of Southern California. He graduated from the University of Southern California USC in 2000 with a dual degree in History & Biology with an emphasis in Medieval History & Molecular Biology. He later obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Southern California, graduating with honors. While at USC, Dr. Salib presented to both national and international audiences his recognized and internationally award winning cancer research while earning the distinction of becoming the 2003 International Hatton Award Recipient. Dr. Salib is the only Oral Surgeon & Dentist in California with such distinction. He was the recipient of the American College of Dentistry Award for his contributions to the field of dentistry at large.
After graduating from the USC School of Dentistry, Dr. Salib pursued his passion and continued into his postgraduate residency in oral & maxillofacial surgery at one of the most highly respected and largest ADA accredited programs in the country, Indiana University. During his residency, Dr. Salib continued to remain active on the national circuit, serving as the regional resident representative to the national board while continuing his clinical research furthering the knowledge of the field; again presenting at both the local and regional levels.
While there, he served as chief resident of Indiana University Hospital, Methodist Hospital; one the largest and busiest trauma hospitals in America where he worked extensively on the Trauma Surgery team, Wishard Memorial Hospital, and Riley Childrens Hospital; one of Americas most pre-eminent pediatric hospitals where he served on the craniofacial team, treating children with clefts and craniofacial syndromes. He played an integral role in establishing and maintaining the Dental Implant Seminar Symposiums at Indiana University. He has published articles in both the clinical and basic sciences.
Dr. Salib has successfully completed the rigorous, multi-year examination process required to become certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is proud to have achieved the status of Diplomate and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is currently on staff at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA, to better serve his patients. Dr. Salib was also the recipient of the Humanitarian Award for his continued service to the financially destitute in Los Angeles & Orange County as well as partaking in humanitarian trips to Costa Rica.

I went to Dr. Salib after my prior dental implants failed. Dr. Salib surgically removed the previously implanted rods and started the revision process from scratch. Ultimately, I ended up with four new tooth implants that were expertly done. Dr. Salib is a dedicated expert with a great level of dedication and state-of-the-art equipment. I would recommend him and his services wholeheartedly.

I came in for a consultation for wisdom teeth pain. Dr. Salib and his staff are super friendly and the best ! I never had to wait past my appointment time to be seen. Dr. Salib was very professional, answered all my questions and concerns. After my surgery he called to check on my status. Had no pain, Dr. Salib is a true professional and would recommend to anyone looking for an oral surgeon. And thank you again Dr. Salib and team for a great experience !

Nader Salib destroyed my jaw and teeth by installing an undersized and wrongly placed implant, falsified my medical records, refused to give me my medical records, and violated our written contract. Salib removed my tooth and negligently placed an undersized implant. The implant was put in the incorrect place in three different directions: too far to back of my mouth, too far to the side of my mouth, and not deep enough. Being too small, the implant has a risk of breaking. Being off-center, food can easily get caught between the tooth and there is stress on the cusp. By not being deep enough, the crown will sit too high and the implant will be seen. The only way to remedy the situation is a risky surgery to remove Salib's faulty implant, which can lead to breaking the jaw. There are only two scenarios why Salib's faulty implant is so bad: either Salib was intentionally trying to hurt me, or Salib is completely devoid of any surgical skills. Salib is a pathological liar who continually lied and violated the terms of our contract, which I paid him in full. We agreed and I paid him for a screw-retained crown. He secretly tried to switch me to an inferior cement-retained crown, which is cheaper to produce and less labor intensive to install. Salib also lied and would not let me keep my removed tooth, fraudulently claiming a non-existent law about it being medical waste. Salib fraudulently and criminally falsified my medical records to avoid any responsibility for his negligent work. In trying to harm me, Salib made-up fake conversations I never had with him, pretended I called his office repeatedly, and created false scenarios. Salib refused to provide me my medical records in violation of California and HIPPA Law. A California Dental Board investigation found him of negligence. A HIPPA investigation found him of violating Federal law.

The experience was bad. The services were done well. Beware of being last patient of the day on Friday. I presume all good reviews were on other days than Friday. There was zero after care as staff far too ready to start their weekend. Very unprofessional. Patient communication non-existant. Plasma treatment was well worth the price, healed within days.

Thank you Dr. Salib and your team for giving me my smile back!! Before seeing Dr. Salib, I spent over a year seeing a handful of doctors who all advised that a successful implant would be unlikely. Dr. Salib is truly a scholar who is genuinely interested and passionate about his work. His offices utilizes cutting edge technology, and his mastery of the profession and skill is exhibited in his work. But what I was most impressed and appreciative of was the way Dr. Salib and his entire staff tried me like family, always made me feel comfortable, and we're always accommodating. Super personal and intelligent. Had my wisdom teeth removed on Friday and worked a 12 hour shift Saturday with no pain or swelling. 4 days later I could eat whatever I wanted. The most easily reached doctor I have ever seen. 10/10 would recommend for any surgery.

They charged to my credit card without my authorization. They did not even bother to send me the bill, just went ahead to charge it. They cannot even explain why the charge was for. Stay away from this shop!

Dr. Salib is an extremely caring, professional and exceptional oral surgeon. The whole process from consult to surgery to post op was really better than I hoped it would be. I had been postponing my wisdom teeth removal for years and was therefore nervous about the surgery. During the consult and right before the surgery, Dr. Salib was very thorough in explaining everything to me so that I would be at ease. I had all four wisdom teeth extracted and didn't experience much pain after listening to his advice to stay on my ibuprofen and not miss a dose. I can't thank Dr. Salib and his staff enough for everything they did and helping me to feel so comfortable during the process. I highly recommend Dr. Salib to all my family and friends and to anyone reading this!

My 18 yr old brother needed all four wisdom teeth out and (after about a year of careful research) we found Dr. Salib! He and his office were great and everyone was so kind! We had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS! Everything went very smoothly throughout the whole process and he had very little pain (even without strong drugs)! They used a PRP treatment and he was feeling pretty good in just a couple days! He healed super fast because of this special procedure and was doing great by his 1 week check-up. Dr Salib does a great job and is a really nice doctor!

My son needed to have his wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Salib was recommended to us by our dentist Dr. Elahi. We were very nervous because two of his wisdom teeth were badly located in his mouth and required an skilled doctor to do the procedure. We made an appointment. We were impressed upon our arrival by the cleanliness of Dr. Salib facility and greeted by his professional and friendly staff. When we met Dr. Salib, he showed us a digital tutorial of what to expect and compared it to my son's locations of his wisdom teeth. It's so true that knowledge is power. We got totally informed on how things were and how he was planning to address it. Under his skilled and capable hands, the procedure was a total success. We couldn't be happier. No complications occurred and the healing took place as it was predicted. I can go on for ever expressing my gratitude to Dr. Salib and his staff, but I would like to end my review by recommending him to anyone who is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and skilled doctor in his field.
