Every appointment has been amazing. The staff is so nice and professional. I would 100% recommend Pacific Family Dental, Inc to any military family just relocating to the Island. I had an amazing experience. I was initially super nervous about getting a filling, (because of the needle) but the dentist made me feel 100% comfortable. The person who cleaned my teeth was awesome, the dental assistant was amazing as well. All around GREAT experience. I highly recommend. If you're active duty military or a military spouse and or a dependent, I recommend this office! Plus it's super close to JBPHH.

Dr. Mark Watanabe and his staff are like family to my wife and me. They are simply the best in every way. I've had a ton of work done, including replacement fillings turned to porcelain, cleanings twice a year and a surgical post for a replacement molar. Most importantly to me, they know us and treat us like family. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist until now. It is always a pleasure now.

I love Pacific Family Dental! They are so genuine & a sincere group that it was always such a pleasant experience when going to the dentist. I never had to wait & they did an excellent job. I was always surprised by how much they remembered about me when ever I would go back for a checkup. They would ask questions from our last conversation & have awesome memories.They care about their patients & treat everyone like family. I highly recommend them & can't say enough positive things!

The office is clean and I appreciate the open floor plan where one of the walls are shared for each room into the main walkway. There's privacy without feeling claustrophobic. Amy (dental hygiene) is excellent. She is gentle and very detail oriented. Dr. Mark is awesome, he is funny and puts me at ease. I really disliked going to the dentist prior to finding Dr. Mark and his staff!! I recommend Pacific a family Dental to all my friends.

We had a great experience getting x-rays and cleaning for my son and I. They were able to combine our appointments so we could both have services same day. I usually only take my son to a pediatric dentist (rather than whole family) because my son is neurodivergent. He is super wiggly, talkative, and sensitive, which can be a big challenge in a dentist office. Everyone working at Pacific Family Dental showed my son aloha. He didn't always sit still and had a lot of random comments but there was no frustration displayed by anyone. He was so comfortable he tolerated tastes and textures he normally can't stand. To me, that speaks volumes. Super impressed!

I went to Dr. Watanabe for almost 2 years. He is an amazing dentist who will tell you exactly what needs to be done. He will tell you how much each option will cost without making you feel poor or cheap. He definitely understands money can be tight sometimes so he looks for options that are best for you. I was nervous about getting an old filling removed and replaced (due to a new cavity coming in on the same tooth) but he was able to do it without causing any damage to my tooth! The dental hygienists I've had there have been very kind as well! They really go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable in every way possible! They give you safety glasses so you don't get water in your eyes, put chapstick on your lips (single use) so your lips won't get dried out while they're working on you, and ask you how you're doing every step of the way! I've been to a lot of dentists (moved a lot on the mainland) and this office has by far been the most welcoming! I wish I could have been a lifetime patient but unfortunately had to move.
