Our Pac Endo, Pacific Endodontics, was born in 1995 by Drs. Ali Etemad and Ted Pilot. From the beginning, we have been committed to the art and science of Endodontics and providing an excellent patient experience in a gentle and caring manner. Over the years our team has grown to four doctors and we are proud to introduce our team.

Kristina joined the Pacific Endodontics team in 2006, but her roots in dentistry started way back in her own country where she earned her DDS degree from The University of Mother Teresa, School of Dentistry. She worked as a general dentist for 6 years in a private clinic in Athens, Greece. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists. After moving to the USA, Kristina continues to love working with patients but her biggest goal in life is to be for ever best friends with her two beautiful girls.

Dr. Ali Etemad completed his undergraduate studies at Seattle University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He attained his DDS degree from The University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Etemad received his Masters of Science degree and his Endodontics Specialty Certificate from The University of Michigan. Dr. Etemad is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, American Equilibration Society, and the Seattle King County Dental Society. He is an affiliate associate professor at The University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Etemad enjoys spending time cycling and skiing.

Dr. Avisha Shah completed her dental degree at YMT Dental College and Hospital in Mumbai, India. She then came to the United States, where she did a two-year advanced clinical training program in endodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry. She received her Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology and her Endodontics Specialty Certificate from UCLA School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontics. Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and skiing.

The entirty of the staff were very helpful and communicative with both myself and the rest of my medical team. I have a more complex medical condition and they made me feel comfortable knowing I was being taken care of and that any questions I had were welcome.

Soooo thankful for Pac Endo Especially Kristina, she literally saved us! My boyfriend was having the worst tooth pain and we were not able to get him in anywhere without waiting weeks. Kristina was soooo sweet and so helpful, she got us in for an appointment the very next day and Dr. Siddiqui worked some magic! It ended up being a two appointment procedure and both times Kristina was able to coordinate with our schedules and get him taken care of. Huge thanks to pacific endodontics !!! 5 stars for sure!

Dr. Kristina and Dr. Eternal were amazing to work on my rootcanal rework. They're an amazing duo. My gum didn't hurt after the procedure was completed. I was surprised of how professional they are and followed up the next day to make sure I am doing well.

I came here for a tricky root canal and wow, they were amazing. I was seen by Dr. Ali Etemad and Dr. KriStina Mitro. The work was top notch. Fast work that completes on time. No pain in the chair. I actually fell asleep at a few points! My tooth had a number of complications and Dr Etemad went out of his way to explain what was happening walking me through the CT Scan slices and explaining the options. Then when my jaw was off aligned (I have severe chronic TMJ) he actually knew how to pop it back into position so we could get a correct bite test! No one has ever been able to do that for me before and if I can't manage to get my jaw realigned myself, I often have to come back to readjust my bite. Dr. Mitro was also super friendly, calling me after my multiple appointments to check on how I was feeling. She has an amazing way of putting one at ease. If you need endodontic work, I highly recommend these folks.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Etemad and Kristina as a more holistic approach to root canals. My experience has been so incredibly positive. Kristina and Dr. Etemad are warm, profesional and caring. I never feel rushed through my appointments and it's clear how much they care about doing the procedures correctly and also educating me throughout the process. Kristina is very welcoming and felt like an old friend upon meeting her. She has been quick to respond to my emails and has really calmed a lot of my worries whenever I have a question or concern. I'm hoping I won't need more root canals, but if I ever need another one, these are the people I trust.

I do not understand how this place has so many glowing reviews. After I was referred here by my dentist, I called and requested an appointment with Dr. Etemad. The day I went in for my appointment, one of the first things I noticed was that patients in the waiting room were not wearing masks even though they are currently required at all health care settings including dental offices in Seattle/King County. When asked, the receptionist replied that it was no longer required. I continued to wear my mask until I removed it for x-rays. When the doctor came in to see me, it was not Dr. Etemad, but another doctor. When I stated my appointment was with Dr. Etemad, the other doctor left and a few minutes later, Kristina, the office manager came in. She took off her mask to talk, remarking that was vaccinated. She informed me that Dr. Etemad was very busy and if I wanted to see him I would need to reschedule. When I said I would reschedule, she appeared very irritated and challenged me about why I wouldn't see the other doctor. Rather than apologize that they had messed up when they made the appointment, she was inconsiderate and rude, trying to make me feel like I was the one in the wrong for wanting my appointment be with the doctor I had requested when I scheduled. They offered me an appointment many weeks out. I never did see Dr. Etemad. He might be just fine, however, I won't return to a business that treats patients this way and is not following safety protocols.

If you need a root canal, you can trust that you will be in great hands with the Pacific Endodontics team! I was referred by my dentist and I can't emphasize enough how professional, communicative, and patient-centric Dr. Etamad and Kristina are. Dr. Etamad takes the time to truly listen and explain the diagnosis, the entire process, timeline, possible outcomes, in a super thorough and digestible manner. Kristina is amazing, passionate about patient care and she genuinely takes the time to connect in conversation. She goes the extra mile and has even took the time to give me a follow-up call to check-in which I absolutely appreciated. It feels funny to say a root canal can be a great experience, but coming to this office it truly feels like you're treated like family or a dear friend and can be at ease here. I've been to both their West Seattle and First Hill office, which are beautiful with state of the art tech. I highly recommend Pacific Endodontics. Thank you Dr. Etamad and Kristina for your excellence and care!

I've had a LOT of dental work done in my somewhat short life and I can't rave enough about Drs Etemad & Mitro!! I had a serious bicycle accident at 18yo and they have been extremely caring and knowledgeable about the teeth that have ultimately needed to be replaced. I've had numerous root canals as a result of my accident, many of which have been with Pacific Endodontics. They have always been willing to explain and walk me through various procedures (I am very curious and ask a lot of questions). I typically go to the West Seattle office but they conveniently have an office in downtown Seattle as well. I highly recommend this practice for all your root canal needs.

I was blown away by the patient-focused service at Pacific Endodontics - especially that of Dr. Etemad and Kristina, who manages the practice. Throughout my root canal and subsequent check-up visits, Kristina always connected with me, engaging in conversation to put me at ease. Both she and Dr. Etemad make a scary procedure seem to go by so quickly! Thank you Pacific Endodontics for your excellent work!

It feels weird to say I had a great experience getting a root canal but that's exactly what it was. All the folks here are friendly, professional, and very good at what they do. The new technology they use for performing the root canal makes it painless and much quicker than in the past.

Pacific Endodontics is the best dental office - hands down! I sadly have had lots of issues with my teeth and have been seeing a lot of different dentists and specialists over the years. I have seen both Dr Etemad and Dr Siddiqui at the West Seattle location and both doctors are brilliant at what they do. They are experts in figuring out the right treatment plan for you and they are also kind and caring when going through this process. I highly appreciated both doctors' thorough approach to explain treatment options, risks and costs so that there are no surprises. They were clear on when they are certain about a resolution vs when they want to try something (that may or may not work) to try to exhaust options and avoid extraction. This gave me huge confidence in them. Kristina, the head of the office is an absolute gem. She checks in with patients and makes them feel welcomed. She is kind, friendly and approachable and just very supportive through your dental journey. I also had great experiences with all the dental assistants and the front desk staff, too. They all were all professional, fast and overall great at what they do. The office is beautiful and clean (with great views :-) and the dental equipment they have in there is world class. Pacific Endodontics makes an otherwise dreaded experience a pleasant one. I never thought I would use the word "pleasant" about a dental experience but it is deserving here...

AVOID. This place is an absolute waste of time. Horrible communication - booked my root canal only to drive there and find out it was an exam only. Charged for incomplete exam and still tried to get me to buy the $200 3D scan. Go anywhere else.

Visiting Pacific Endodontics has been one of the best experiences related to my dental problem and treatment. Dr. Etemad and his entire staff including chief administrator Kristina, assistants, and the receptionists are very professional, pleasant, efficient, and they make you feel at home. Kristina, specifically, is always ready to help with a big smile. I was referred to Dr. Etemad for a second opinion related to one of the root canals thought to be contributing to the ongoing pain in my mouth. Dr. Etamad made me feel extremely comfortable by giving me plenty of time to listen to my problems and addressing them one by one. He not only focused on one specific diagnosis/analysis but also is coordinating with my other doctors to go deep to the root of the problem. I would highly recommend Dr. Etemad.

Kristina and Dr. Etemad are great! They've done two root canals for me and they make the experience pleasant and generally good humored. The West Seattle office is quite nice and comfortable and since it's on the third floor, there are lovely views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mtns from the big windows in their patient rooms.

I was referred by my dentist Dr. Kollia (from Aesthetica) for damage to almost all my front teeth. Kristina and Etemad saved my smile in more ways than one! I was always aware of any trade-offs or details w.r.t. what the treatment plan was. Their focus during treatment was always on preserving as much as possible of the original tooth with clear communication about why some root canals would be put off to see if the root was able to heal or not and what signs to look out for that could indicate that roots are dying and what that could mean. Kristina and Dr. Etemad work wonderfully in tandem in the office. Often picking up or preemptively correcting for what might become discomfort or pain during a long procedure. They are always clear on what is being done and why. One of my front teeth needed to be extruded to bring the damage down below the gum line. Dr E went the extra mile as opposed to going directly to an implant. He worked closely with Dr Cohanim (from Cohanim Smileworks) to pull the tooth down in an attempt to preserve it. This paid off and I am sure I would have an implant right now if it were not for being referred to Dr E. I couldn't recommend them enough. Their expertise is best in class and the culture they've built around their work is one where they treat you like they would Family with regards to physical and emotional health
