She attended the University of Washington and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah for dental school at Roseman University of Health Sciences. As a student, she volunteered on medical mission trips to Panama to help provide dental care to people who lack access to doctors.
She moved back to Washington to be closer to her family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, traveling, and playing tennis when the weather permits. Dr. Luong loves to practice dentistry, and prides herself on working with her patients to provide individualized treatment plans and patient centered solutions.

Had to come back and edit my review since changing doctors. This place is coasting by on the good reputation of the previous doctor and his staff. Not only was the new doctor extremely rough, the receptionists were incredibly rude when attempting to make an appointment. They accused me of having missed an appointment back when the old doctor was practicing, and that if I missed the appointment there would be a fee. I said fine and hung up. Minutes later I got a text from them telling me I could only call and make a day-of apt, and I'd have to pay a fee if I missed it! Absolutely insane. I've had several appointments, and kept all of the ones that I booked. I even had multiple appointments with you, and heard absolutely nothing about any missed appointments, then suddenly I have a history of missed appointments and am supposed to be spoken to rudely? Again, absolutely insane.

Never before have I been charged a co-pay or have to pay for a flouride rinse, and they want to redo a filling only done just a year before by the old dentist. She seems nice, but seems like she wants to take my money unnecessarily more.

Came in for a cleaning a few weeks ago and today had dental work on a problematic area I've had for 4 years. The dentist here, Carol, is absolutely AMAZING! She is very professional and she knows how to do the job perfectly. The staff, receptionist, hygienist and everyone else are overall very kind, professional and amazing. I absolutely enjoyed my visit here. I will.enaure to.let everyone i know to come here for amazing dentistry. Ill definitely be back. Thank you so much! A++++ customer satisfaction

Had a Molar extracted /Bone grafted and wasn't given even one day's pain meds!! OUCH. No sleep that night. Procedure went well though, not too bad and quite quickly done.

They've had a huge turn over since Dr.G left. If that doesn't say much, then idk what to tell you. Families been going here since the late 90s. Between her buying the client list and her wedding, definitely trying to hustle. Doesn't mean you take advantage of a loyal list of people. I hate to say goodbye, but the new doctor and "office manager" (her mother in law) is not my cup of tea. Update: Lol, Don't be mislead by the response. The fact that you were put into a manager position after Dr.Luong took over doesn't sit well with me. Nice way of playing it off as a family business though. As far as meeting you, I'd pass. Only because my morals and values don't align with this establishment anymore. If you knew what family was you'd extend that to the number of patients that were turned over after Dr.G had retired. And no worries, you'll be getting a check in the mail for the overdue balance that all of a sudden appeared after I wrote the review, Denise. :) Loosing my business may not affect this establishment in a huge way because of how the pricing of your treatment works, but I solely believe that if you do right by people then you'll energy will always be returned. I hope that out of everything, you at least take that into consideration when caring for people.

3.5 actually..I've been away from the office for a few years, out of state. While the office doesn't have the same feeling it used to, Dr Giddings has retired, the staff is still very nice. Changes aren't always easy. I'll reserve judgements until I've given the new process an honest try.

The most detailed and in depth dental appointment I've ever had, I feel great! Everyone is very nice and welcoming, as well and knowledgeable and are willing to educate! Dr. Luong is warm and makes you feel comfortable.

This was my first time at Pacific Dental Center and I will definitely be back. I got seated right at my appointment time, got my teeth cleaned and Dr. Luong gave me the most thorough dental exam I've ever received. Everyone was smiling and friendly from start to finish and I was in and out in an hour. I'm confident my teeth are in good hands here.

Pacific Dental went above and beyond for me. I need THREE extractions done immediately, so the dentist, DR. CAROL LUONG wanted to do it right then. Not expecting that, I unfortunately couldn't get them extracted right then, so she and the entire office staff accommodated me and got me in first thing the very next morning. The entire process included, 3 extractions and bone grafting in all three spots, I cannot believe how comfortable and pain free I was during and after the entire process. Every single one of the ladies running the office, are absolutely wonderful. I am terrified of the dentist due to past traumatic experiences, and I cannot recommend Pacific Dental enough!
