Dr. Joe was born in Glendale, CA and raised in Palos Verdes Estates, CA. He graduated from Palos Verdes High School before entering Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for his undergraduate education. Dr. Snider earned his B.S. in Industrial Technology in 1996 and then entered the University of California San Francisco, School of Dentistry where he completed his doctoral degree in 2001.
Dr. Terri was born in Saigon, Vietnam and raised in Irvine, CA. She graduated with Honors from Irvine High School and attended the University of California, Irvine, fully funded as a prestigious Regents Scholar. Dr. Nguyen graduated in 1996 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and went on to complete her dental degree at the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2001 where she received the Academy of Dental Materials Award for excellence in the field of dental materials science.
The Sniders are a husband and wife team with two daughters, Olivia and Talia. When they are not providing you with dental care, you may find them biking the boardwalk around Sail Bay, splashing in the waves at Law Street beach, or attending mass at St. Brigid Catholic Church.

Dr Joe is so kind, experienced, and great at what he does. You can tell he truly cares about his patients. Throughout the long process of removing an implant and creating a bridge for my front teeth, he was beyond patient & I always felt comfortable trusting his judgement. The rest of the staff was also always so kind & professional as well and assisted in providing such great care. Beyond happy with the outcome and thankful for the team - can't recommend PB dentistry enough!

Truly blown away by my experience at PB Dentistry! I had the same dentist my entire childhood/adult life in Wyoming, and finally needed to make the switch and find one in SD. I made an appt at PB Dentistry for a chipped tooth and walked out of there knowing I have a dentist for life. Dr. Joe and all staff were so accommodating, kind and informative throughout the entire process. My teeth look better than ever and I am so grateful to have found this incredible dental office. 10/10 recommend :)

we were visiting in pacific beach, and one of my crowns came out. Our hotel recommended this dentist, very easy walk away. They were just lovely, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and I got into see the dr quickly. She checked the xrays and told me some bad news, but gave me reassurance and information to take back to my own dentist at home. I was very pleased with how they treated a 'zonie' and highly recommend them to anyone who has a dental emergency

Always a great experience with Dr. Joe and Dr. Terri! I've been coming here for close to a decade and I recommend them to anyone who would listen. I can't express how painless and calming both Doctors and their staff are. No joke, I nodded off for a second during my cleaning yesterday! If I could give more stars, I would!

My fiance and I have lived in PB since 2016 and in that time, we have bounced around from dentist to dentist with little satisfaction. Following a change in my insurance recently, I came across PB Dentistry. Thankful to say, that we finally have found what we were looking for! Terri and her husband's practice here are a true mom & pop shop. As long as we are in San Diego, this will be our spot going forward! Highly recommend.

I've had the privilege of going to PB Dentistry since 2018 after moving back to San Diego from out-of-state. I tend to be concerned with the service, professionalism and cost whenever having to start over with a new healthcare/dentist provider. All I can say is that Dr Joe, Dr Terri and their staff check off on all three and they have been nothing but top-notch! Very friendly and professional. Dr Joe has been great in explaining things thoroughly, does great work, and as an added bonus has a great sense of humor!

I have been coming here for several years now and can't imagine going to any other dentists! I had YEARS of awful experiences with dentists while working through some fairly major dental issues. To say I was jaded is an understatement. From the moment I walked into PB Dentistry I knew it was not your average dental office. Rosie (who has since retired) was the sweetest, most helpful office manager I have ever encountered in a medical facility. She was friendly and happily answered any questions I had regarding insurance, scheduling and billing. I recently had my first appointment with the new staff, and they were just as fantastic. When I first started coming to the office, I was always with Dr. Joe. He patiently walked me through what I would need to have done and what I should expect. His bedside manner is friendly, upbeat and professional. No one likes dental work, but Dr. Joe makes it as bearable as it can possibly be. Once Dr. Joe got my dental health on track, I have had very few, if any, issues. In fact, I think the only other notable work I had to have done was a correction from a past dentist. More recently, I started seeing Dr. Terri as well. My experiences with Dr. Terri have all been just as great as with Dr. Joe, and I'm happy to see either one of them for my appointments. Also, every hygienist that has done my cleanings has bee friendly and gentle as can be. I never thought I would get to a place where I didn't lose sleep over an upcoming dentist appointment, but now I have no nerves going into them. Because of that, I've referred several co-workers and friends to this office. Every one of the people I have sent there have thanked me for the referral and tell me about their great experiences. I will continue to recommend Dr. Joe, Dr. Terri and their team until they retire! Thank you so much to everyone in the entire office for all the hard work and professionalism.

I went through years of bad experiences with dentists and poor dental work and had gotten to a point where I was pretty hopeless that I would ever get things sorted out with my oral health. I decided to give the PB Dentistry office a try, and I will never go anywhere else! In the beginning, I mostly saw Dr Joe but have seen Dr Terri as well and am equally happy to see both of them. They are kind, knowledgeable and patient. The dental assistants and hygienists are welcoming and gentle with cleanings. I have come to find out from many previous painful experiences that this must be a developed skill or a true talent. I have referred several friends and colleagues to PB Dentistry who have all thanked me for recommending them. I will continue to sing their praises and refer them any chance I get!
