I would give 0 stars if I could. I was seen in April for an evaluation to have my wisdom teeth removed and was told I'd need to have the surgery done at the hospital and would take months to get scheduled. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago on a Saturday I got a letter with a list of dates available to do the surgery and too call ASAP to get scheduled before they're all filled up. I've been calling since last Monday and their "hospital scheduler" never answers her phone and I'm always sent to voicemail. I've left 2 voicemails last week and never got a call back. I gave them 1 more chance and called again today only to be sent to voicemail again. I called my dentist and had them refer me elsewhere.

I don't know how you can expect anyone who needs any kind of surgical procedure to be able to wait until next year. It's June....... Like who can wait that long for literally any type of procedure? I'm assuming you guys only care about the cosmetic stuff you can charge out the nose for, but still had the nerve to tell my insurance you'd be able to help me when they went over the situation with you. Zero stars for stupidity if possible.

My husband was seen here for his 1st appointment on 4/05/2022 at this appointment we were told he needed a pallet biopsy done on a spot located on the roof of his mouth and that he needed a full teeth extraction that would need to be done at the hospital. Was advised upon checkout that nether of these appointments could be scheduled until we spoke with my husbands dr to see how many days before the procedures he would need to stop his blood thinners.so we called the drs office before leaving the dentist. Received a phone call from the dr 2 days later which was April 7th advising that my husband would need to stop his blood thinners 5 days prior to the procedures. Immediately called Dr. Ali's office and informed them of this information was advised that a Prior authorization would need to be submitted to the insurance company before they could schedule and that they would call us back to schedule the appointments once they heard from insurance company. Never received the call so on April 18th I called Dr. Ali's office again was advised that the PA was never submitted and that they were sending it that day. Received a call about an hour later advising everything went through the insurance and the appointment could be scheduled he was scheduled only for the biopsy on April 27th. We go and get the biopsy done and was told we would receive a call in 10days with results. Upon check out I inquired on the full teeth extraction was advised it's another person that does the scheduling for the hospital and that, that person would be in contact. On 05/11/2022 I had to call yet again to see if biopsy results were back and to inquire on the extraction schedule was advised that Dr. Ali not his assistants were in and nether was Tina whom does the hospital scheduling but that I would receive a call the next today. Well here we are no phone call so I call the office I'm transferred to Tina's vm and let a message call back to speak with Dr Ali or one of his assistances and surprise I am transferred to the assistants vm. Mind you my husband is in pain everyday his teeth have become so lose that his partial plates no longer stay in his mouth due to his shrinking gums and he is unable to eat which is causing him to lose weight. We are left in the dark to this point we don't know if my husband has mouth cancer and if so what the next steps are. I work in the health care field and this is just poor patient care. It's like the staff doesn't want to be bothered with doing their jobs. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Wish you could give negative stars because they would be receiving them.

I was very fortunate to have a oral surgeon that cared enough about people to take Medicaid patients. I had problems with IVs in the past. I was nervous and Dr Rice himself put my IV in. No problems whatsoever. The office was clean the people were polite. I traveled 153 MI. Only because no one around my area would accept Medicaid patients. Now I feel very fortunate for that. I would make the trip again and again only because I think I had the best surgeon. Dr Rice and his staff treated me as though I was paying cash. I appreciate them and recommend this office and this doctor to everyone. He is very caring and I woke up the next day after having five teeth pulled feeling no pain whatsoever. We can only pray that there would be more doctors like Dr. Jeffrey Rice Tami Madaus

As someone who is terrified of the dentist and needles i would actually say that I had a pleasant experience. The nurses did an amazing job making me feel comfortable, and making sure I was okay after the extraction. Dr. Ali did a great job with the extraction itself and it's healing up nicely.

Dr. Rice and his staff were amazing. I had my four wisdom teeth taken out and they did a fantastic job! The procedure took about a half hour or so. When they put the IV in, the nurses made me really comfortable as I have needle anxiety. They made me feel relaxed and at ease. They did a great job and would definitely recommend them!

I remove my four wisdom teeth on April 30 and without any pain. Dr. Rice made my wisdom tooth removal the most painless and quick experience ever. I recommend him 10/10. But it is a pity that I cannot keep my wisdom teeth as the doctor said that it's illegal to keep them. The nursing assistants are very friendly but it seems that they are in a hurry so that we do not have enough time to discuss some details. In short, they are very helpful. Right now it has been six days, I recovered fast and I can eat some noodles as well as well as some snacks. Hope my review will help more people. If you have any questions please ask. I have also attached the office as well as the waiting room of the surgery.

Dr rice and Dr Ferris are both very friendly the staff is a different story to talk to them on the phone it feels as if you are wasting their time to talk to them in the office again absolutely miserable. They could really use a class to learn how to deal with people..

I'm not sure why this place has such bad reviews....Dr. Rice made my wisdom tooth removal the most painless and quick experience ever. I was in, and out in 30 minutes. I was even knocked out with general anasthesia. I recommend him 10/10. Also, I'm only on day 2 since I got them removed and I'm able to eat solid foods. No pain, no problems. 100% will come back to Dr. Rice.
