Dr. 'Lem', a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry since 2002. In that time, he has worked in a variety of settings as a dentist and does most aspects of dentistry. From working in the rural suburbs to the inner city, he has worked also with community after school programs such as 'Fight to Learn' and organizations such as 'Head Start' and 'Philadelphia Corporation for the Aging'. He also volunteers his time and goes abroad to the Philippines to do dental work on orphans, the poor and sick. Many patients like his gentle mannerism.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. 'Lem' is the drummer for many bands in Philadelphia and teacher for many young percussionists. Many of the skills he has as a musician transfer to his dentistry. The soft hands and ability to listen to others are qualities he likes to apply not only to music but to dentistry as well.

The staff is always so warm and welcoming, they make what can be an unnerving and anxious time, to a time where I feel relaxed and I am confident the outcome would be GREAT!!

The best dental care in town! Professional, courteous, and friendly staff. Great attention and service. Dr. Lem and Dr. Kum are two of the best; very friendly and caring. Their attention to detail is top notch. Would recommend this clinic to anyone.

This is the best Dental practice!. The front desk ladies, Ashleigh and Belma, are personable, knowledgeable and they make sure they explain everything thoroughly so there is no misunderstanding. They are always prepared to answer any questions. Dr. Lem is incredible! He is friendly, patient and very calming. The amount of anxiety I had going to the dentist prior to Dr. Lem has been cut by more than half. Gentle Dental is Dr. Lem's specialty. Lenore is wonderful. She is very comforting while having procedures done and very thorough when assisting Dr.Lem. I've never had any issues with their hygienist for my cleanings either. I am grateful for all P3 Dental does for their patients. I will continue to refer everyone I know, to P3 Dental Sincerely, Jennifer W.

I've been going to this dentist since it first open at this location and generally its always been a great experience. Staff is super friendly including the doctors and assistants. Painless cleaning, fillings, crowns. The team always made the experience comfortable for me. Which means a lot bc I've had traumatic experiences in my past as a child with previous dentists. I still have high level anxiety due to my past. Yet P3 dental always made sure that was never going to end up being the case. I put full trust in their professional practices considering they maintain the great experiences each time. Yet this was the only time today where this was not so much the case with my visit to fill in a few cavities. This review isn't to tarnish or make this office look bad. This is general concise criticism that I hope isn't taken negatively to tarnish them. In this situation I had a new assistant that was working with a doctor that I wasn't familiar with. To explain the situation, I was hit with two numbing shots to my upper lip. The doctor was working on a cavity at the top left back corner of my mouth. In the case I had something to bite on, a suction that was just hanging at the corner of my mouth on the right. Which was accidentally being pushed down my throat as the doctor is trying to work on the cavity. She implies "try to breath through your nose." In my mind I'm thinking, I'm literally fighting for my life for air from the suction tube and water being sprayed down my throat. I have the assistant that is trying to make a gaped space to open the left side. Yet she's yanking the side of my mouth with her life depending on it. The pain was incredibly awful and to trace back two shots to numb my lip and I still felt the pain of the assistant yanking my mouth to the side. It was either she was trying to unhinge my jaw or trying to split my mouth open. The inside corner of my upper lip is bruised. I couldn't even motion for anything considering I felt as though I was going to black out from the combination of drowning, loss of oxygen and immense pain. I never out of all the times I've been here experienced something like that. There has to be some mindfulness of how these tools are being positioned in the mouth and finding an alternative or at least not pry someones mouth open to such an excruciating / extreme level. I hope this message gets across and no one else will experience this happening to them. These type of experiences is what pushes patients away completely from going to a dentist or office overall.

Love this place. Dr lem is fantastic.. Went in for a routine cleaning. Then had a tooth extracted a few months later. Very competent employees. The office and rooms were very clean. And I was immediately put at ease. Highly recommended.

Went to them for the first time today and the service was awesome! Loved the vibe of the office. Everyone was so personable and friendly. The cleaning process was fairly smooth as well. Not really much pain or discomfort from the typical gum poking they have to do. Compared to my last dental office they are a super upgrade. I highly recommend!
