Dr. Randy Eckman has also been involved in athletics since high school. From being part of an Ivy League Champion team at University of Pennsylvania to playing on the All Navy Basketball Team, Dr. Randy carries on his passion for sports. He served on the National AAU Boys Basketball Committee and as Commissioner of the National Championships Wide World of Sports at Disney in 2003.
Dr. Philip Eckman, Jr. joined his father in practice in 2009. After graduating from Muhlenberg College in 2005 with his Bachelor of Arts, Dr. Eckman Jr. attended the University of Maryland Dental School, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He is a member of such prestigious organizations as the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Upon graduation in 2009, Dr. Philip earned his certification from Invisalign. In 2011, he received his Pennsylvania license for conscious sedation (nitrous oxide.)
Dr. Philip is especially passionate about dental implants. He has been trained in the surgical placement of implants and uses 3-D technology to plan and guide his procedures. Dr. Philip meets regularly with peers in the Brandywine Study Club to attend presentations by the industrys leading specialists.
In 2017, Dr. Philip co-founded an internet service to provide patients with timely and professional dental advice. His website, www.XrayUpload.com allows users to have dental x-rays evaluated by a panel of experienced, licensed dentists at low cost. Visitors from all over the world have received a second opinion through this modern service.

This office lost a family as a client today. Very abrupt,mean and impatient, yelling at my 14 year old. They don't communicate well on what they are going to do. Have been going there for a long time and have been fairly happy, not any more. We are finding a new dentist.

I got a call at 2:30 yesterday to come for an appointment at 4:00 that was a cancellation. By 4:30 my teeth were clean, my x-rays had been updated and I was on my way out the door. Thanks for fitting me in ahead of my scheduled appointment.

all 4 of my wisdom teeth grew in correctly and i've been proudly using them all until today one of them kept getting a cavity and reached the point of no return i cannot express how incredibly scared i was to get a tooth pulled, just because i know my bones are strong and it would be hell to get out. barely slept last night. rolled up to Phil Eckman's dental office today - him and his staff took fantastic care of me. he booked plenty of time with me to chat and make me feel at ease, and also spent time digging out small remnants of my 4 root wisdom tooth to ensure the healing process is smooth cannot express how grateful I am, doc! I never thought he would top making my son Adam's first dental filling experience a breeze, or fixing my 2 year old's chipped front tooth comfortably, but he did it. what an ace. thanks again

As a new client of this dentistry I was impressed with the timeliness, extensive COVID preparations, and cheerful personalities of the staff. Everyone knew their role in various processes and were very professional. Fees for service were quite reasonable. I look forward to a long relationship with this dental practice.

Awesome experience, I dont usually write dentistry or hospital reviews , but had to for this one. I went in today to get my cavity filled. Very professional and clean ambience . I was explained the process very clearly and they were very quick . I was made sure I didn't feel any pain before the start of the procedure. Highly recommend this dentistry :)

I have been going to Randy for over 25+ years before he opened his own office. My entire family has used his services from braces, tooth pulled, crowns, etc....We go 3 times a year for our cleaning with Lisa, who is also awesome at what she does. The entire staff is very friendly and professional office they make you feel like family.

I absolutely love Dr Randy and staff! I just moved to the area, still staying in a hotel while we find a house. I had a toothache for over a week, blamed it on stress, tension from moving etc. Got here on Thursday and tooth only got worse. Saw one dentist that could see me sooner and he didn't find anything wrong. Meanwhile I couldn't even get air on my tooth without stabbing pain. Anything cold was even worse. Dr. Randy was able to squeeze me in today and found the problem and gave me a root canal right there! No time to fret, no going to a specialist. This is the first time I have felt relaxed since before moving, thank you to the entire staff. I will be a long time patient from now on.

I go twice a year to have my teeth cleaned but periodically, thankfully not often, I have to go in for a more urgent matter. The girls got me in as soon as I could work it into my schedule and took care of the issue efficiently and without undue need for additional diagnostics or interventions. Great group. Trust is everything - and they have mine completely!
