Dr. Benson was raised in Plano and attended The University of Texas at Austin where he was an honor student in mechanical engineering. After a year-long internship in the orthopedic implant industry, he desired a career which was both craftsmanship- and people-oriented.
He received early acceptance into Baylor College of Dentistry where he graduatedsalutatorian of his class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and Odontological Honor Society.He then completed aresidency at The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Hereturned to Baylor College of Dentistry and earned a Masters of Science in oral biology andcompleted a three-yearspecialty residency in Prosthodontics. Dr. Benson has extensive training and experiencein complex esthetic restorativetreatments as well as allaspects of restorative dentistry, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, and managing TMJ disorders and sleep apnea with intraoral appliances.
Robyn is our hygienist. She graduated from Texas Womans University in 2002. She loves discussing the importance of your smile and the impact to your overall health. In her free time you can find her spending time with her husband and two daughters. New additions to the family include a Chocolate Lab, Duncan, and a German Shepard, Hennessy, one month apart, to keep the family extra busy.
Alma is our dental assistant. She has been in the dental field for almost 20 years. She is always smiling and loves helping others. In her free time she enjoys being with her husband, two adult sons, and two grandsons.
Laurel is our office manager. She has lived in Texas for over 25 years and loves it here. She is married and has six children. When she has free time she enjoys refinishing furniture, sewing, and reading.
Greta is our receptionist. She grew up in Michigan, but has been in Texas for over 30 years. She is married with four adult children. When not in the office, she enjoys time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
