During our temporary office closure, we have been planning our reopening, staying up to date on changes and adaptations to the care of our patients, monitoring guidance from the CDC, OSHA, TSBDE, and the American Dental Association, and collaborating with other professionals.

Our office is a place you should continue to feel safe, although it might look and feel a little different for a while. Here are some things to expect as we transition into a new phase of patient care.

As healthcare professionals, we have routinely practiced the highest sterilization and infectious disease prevention and mitigation standards set forth by the CDC and OSHA. We take those guidelines seriously every day not just during a pandemic to protect our patients and our team members. We are procuring the proper PPE and all necessary safety measures are in place.

One of the ways that we try to help our patients is by holding flexible hours. That way, even patients with busy schedules can receive our quality and affordable oral healthcare from an expert dentist in Allen. We do this by staying open later on Mondays and Tuesdays, while opening early on Thursdays and Fridays:

At P.A. Dentistry, we believe that helping out our surrounding community is just as important as caring for patients in our office. Thats why we have partnered with Mission of Mercy to help give people the dental care that they need, even when they dont have regular access to dentistry. We also work with Give a Kid a Smile every year, where we provide free dentistry to underserviced children. This helps them maintain better health, but it also improves their quality of life by helping them smile more with confidence each day. This combines our love for giving children the tools that they need to smile while also helping out our community.

While she ran a private practice in Connecticut, she moved to Texas in order to be closer to her family. Shes incredibly proud to be helping Allen families as well as the surrounding communities get the care they need.

Dr. Blacher attended Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, IN before attending Indiana University in Bloomington. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry, she attended Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

Following her academic education, she went on to receive extensive training in many dental topics, including advanced Invisalign training, Botox and dermal fillers for facial pain, and dental implant placement. She is laser certified and considered an Invisalign Preferred Provider. Additionally, her favorite treatments to perform include cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening, fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and implants.

When shes not serving her patients at the practice, youll find Dr. Blacher volunteering her time with the free dental day for Mission of Mercy and is a sponsor for Give Kids a Smile Day, which happens in February. She is a member of the Dallas Study Club, a branch of the prestigious Seattle Study Club, which focuses on interdisciplinary dentistry to provide the best treatment for patients. She also holds membership with the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), North Dallas Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and fitness. You can also find her spending time with her Chocolate Labrador named Olive and her loving husband Jonathan. They are all quite excited to call Texas their new home.

Dr. Guak earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, and she went on to earn her dental degree from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Since then, she has worked diligently to stay on top of the latest advancements in dentistry, and today, she is certified to provide both Invisalign and laser therapy.

Dr. Guak is a big fan of the arts, and she likes to experience them in every way possible. On the weekends, youll often find her reading the latest bestseller, binge-watching a TV show, checking out a museum, or listening to musical theater. She is also an avid traveler who likes to learn about new cultures, and to date, she has visited 36 countries.
