Her treatment philosophy is simple: Give her patients the kind of care she would provide for her own children and family. She is very meticulous in her work and recommends treatment only when she believes its in the best interest of the patient. She feels fortunate to have chosen a profession through which she can change not only smiles but lives.
Dr. Rasouli is a proud Stony Brook University alumnus. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in Biochemistry in 1995. In Dental School she received the American Association of Orthodontists Student Award and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery with Honors degree in 2000. She then completed a 3-year residency program in Advanced Education in Orthodontics, also at Stony Brook University, in 2003. She has been an Invisalign Certified Orthodontist since 2002.
Dr. Rasouli maintains memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, and the New York State Dental Association. She feels strongly about her responsibility to stay current with the latest advances in orthodontic treatments and technologies and to stay on the cutting-edge of her profession. She enthusiastically participates in continuing education courses and seminars to provide her patients with the highest level of care, and treatment options.
Dr. Rasouli is a resident of Woodbury, Long Island, where she lives with her husband and two children. When she is not taking care of her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family. She loves reading and soccer, and is very involved with the community through schools and PTA.

What can you eat? Lets talk about what you shouldnt eat! For the first day or so, stick to soft foods. Avoid tough meats, hard breads, and raw vegetables. Before long, youll be able to bite a cucumber again. But youll need to protect your orthodontic appliances when you eat for as long as youre wearing braces.
When you get your braces on, you may feel general soreness in your mouth and teeth may be tender to biting pressures for 3 5 days. Take Tylenol or whatever you normally take for headache or discomfort. The lips, cheeks and tongue may also become irritated for one to two weeks as they toughen and become accustomed to the braces. We will supply wax to put on the braces in irritated areas to lessen discomfort.
To successfully complete orthodontic treatment, the patient must work together with the orthodontist. The teeth and jaws can only move toward their corrected positions if the patient consistently wears the rubber bands or other appliances as prescribed. Lack of cooperation following instructions and damaged appliances lengthen the treatment time so please follow instructions.

Great team! I was was always greeted with kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness. Dr. Zohreh Rasouli took the time to explain the whole Invisalign process prior to starting treatment, which was super helpful. I'm very satisfied with my whole Invisalign experience. My teeth look amazing now!

I've done braces with Dr. Rasouli twice, once traditionally when younger, and most recently Invisalign after improperly wearing my retainers. Both times, she has done an amazing job, and the results have been perfect. She is extremely accommodating, thoughtful, and cares deeply about the details of her craft. Highly recommend Dr. Rasouli!

My son just finished orthodontic treatment with Dr. Razouli. Everything went so smoothly with the treatment, even it was done during the pandemic which had its own challenges. Robin is the absolute best and they're both so professional/knowledgeable, it really helped ease any anxiety regarding my braces, especially during these uneasy times we are all going through right now. Dr. Rasouli is very experienced orthodontist. She is a kind and compassionate person. She spends the time to answer families questions and help the young patients feel at ease. Robyn her office manager is also very personable. She takes the time to talk to families and promptly returns calls. Braces is a big financial commitment, and we shopped around. She is also most reasonably priced orthodontist. My daughter has been her patient for 2.5 years and loves her beautiful straightened teeth. We will be going back to her with our second child. From the moment I walked into Dr. Rasouli's office I knew I was in good hands. The office is completely the state of the art, yet still warm and inviting.
