An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Very pleased with this office! Dr.Ely is honestly the best oral surgeon hands down, him and his team are super informative on the procedures. Office manager is very kind, I was in tons of pain and she was able to squeeze me in for an Appointment the next day!

I am very happy with my dentist, Dr. Yeaton. For the first time in my life, I actually enjoy going to the dentist, because I know I'll get to check in with her. The staff have always been friendly and professional. They explain bills and insurance well. I really feel cared for at this office. Dr. Yeaton is highly personable, and shows genuine concern for my well-being. I have already recommended this office to multiple people, and I recommend to you as well!

Overall dental services was fine and had a couple big things done. Services were a bit higher then surrounding places. I did notice they up charged even with my insurance company and I was reimbursed credit but also saw tacked on additional payments. Be careful also if you have a bill, they didn't notify me and I called for month with only two times getting a person. That person couldn't figure out why I was billed but then had a claim notice come in the mail with no way to verify, since no one is returning any calls. That is unprofessional and will not be returning.

We were stressed and so discouraged with so many dentists not showing concern to our situation. Dr Yeaton was very professional, compassionate , and especially caring- not to mention so consistent in her work. She quickly resolved our issue! I had a great experience from the minute I walked into this facility! All of the staff was extremely polite and informative.They made me feel at home and very relaxed (which is not the norm for a dentist office). Everything was thoroughly explained, the time frame for completion, and the total amount you will be billed. Definitely will be referring friends, colleagues and family. I had a great dentist in another state before visiting this office, and was worried about having to find a new office once I moved here. I couldn't be happier that I found this office! From the time I gave them a phone call to ask them if they accept my insurance, to my actual visit, it truly has been nothing but a pleasant and professional experience! The staff are very friendly and highly experienced. Normally I hate going to the dentist to get a cleaning because I would leave in a lot pain afterwards. Not here though! They use all brand new state-of-the art equipment that I've never seen before and was one of the most pleasant cleaning experiences I've ever had. Oxnard Smiles without a doubt gave me my best experience at a dental office, ever! Can't thank Dr. Yeaton and her entire staff enough for helping me feel confident and excited to see them for a cleaning next time!
