Dr. Jared T. Lee grew up in Fullerton, California where he played baseball and football in high school, participated in Boys State and earned his Eagle Scout award. He attended college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After his freshman year, he put school on hold for a two-year church mission in Mexico where he learned to speak Spanish, but more importantly, he found that life is best lived serving others.

When he returned to his studies at BYU he was also reunited with his study partner, the former Deborah Dixon. A year later they were married. As undergraduate students, Dr. Lee and his wife spent a summer in Guatemala living with the Kiche Maya while they each wrote a chapter in a book about the local Guatemalan healthcare systems.

After earning his undergraduate degree at BYU in Exercise Science with a double major in Anthropology, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCLA. During dental school, Dr. Lee served as the representative for all California dental students to the American Student Dental Association, participating in several committees. At UCLA he co-authored a research study on diagnosis of dental caries using sophisticated 3-dimensional imaging technology.

After dental school, Dr. Lee spent three years as a postdoctoral clinical fellow at Columbia University in New York City where he received a Masters degree in Orthodontics. His research focused on the accuracy of computerized representations of dental and skeletal models. He served as the postdoctoral representative the Colleges ethics committee and as class president.

Dr. Lee, his wife Debi and their three children are delighted to make their home in Santa Paula. You might see them riding bikes around town, spot them eating tacos, or catch them at the library during childrens story time. Dr. Lee regularly participates in professional meetings and study clubs to continue his orthodontic education and to stay current with the most up to date treatments and procedures.

Dr. Jared T. Lee, his wife Debi and their three children are proud to call Santa Paula their home. Active in the community, Dr. Lee is a member of the Santa Paula Rotary Club and a leader in the local Boy Scouts of America. He is also a member of the Association of Orthodontists and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. My treatment philosophy is to always put my patients best interests first. He is honored to serve the people of Santa Paula, Oxnard, Ventura, Ojai, Fillmore, Camarillo, and beyond. Dr. Lee loves being able to speak with patients and parents in their most comfortable language, whether it is Spanish or English. But not Korean, sorry.

NancyMarie has had the wonderful opportunity to work in some of the finest general and specialty dental offices in the area during her career as a Registered Dental Assistant, but admits that she has fallen in love with orthodontics: Its the best! she says. NancyMarie has a special gift for making people feel at ease. As our Financial Coordinator, she will help you navigate insurance plans and payment options, in Spanish or English, or a mix of both, if you prefer. She joined us in 2012our very first employee! NancyMarie and her husband have loved living in Ventura for many years and are the proud parents of three boys and a girl.

A top graduate of Santa Paula High School, we are honored to have had Jocelyn on our team since 2014. As a former patient of Dr. Lees, I know how a new smile can change your outlook on life, and its one of the reasons I wanted to work here. Its fun to see that change in people every day. Jocelyn helps keep our office running smoothly and on time whether in Spanish or English, but we love her most for her infectious laugh and bright smilewhat youre likely to see first as you come into our officeand her moms fantastic cooking.

Elmer is here to help Spanish- or English-speaking patients with questions or scheduling needs, and is also quite adept with all the technology in the office. Elmer joins us from Santa Paula, but frequently visits family in Mexico. When not at the office, he can be found watching or playing basketball, spending time with family, or reading, but his cheerful attitude shows he has fun wherever he goes. I enjoy coming to work and just being around the staff. Everyone is happy to be here no matter the day or time.

When you come to our office as a new or potential patient, well make sure you meet with Veronica, our Treatment Coordinator. She will greet you with a big grin, take photos and radiographs if necessary, and make sure your initial visit to our office is easy and informative. I love meeting our new patients and making them feel comfortable and welcome. But dont be fooled by her seemingly quiet demeanorshe loves to joke around and have fun. Born and raised in Oxnard, and fluent in Spanish and English, Veronica loves shopping, walking her dogs, barbecuing and relaxing with family and friends. Dr. Lee is awesome, Veronica says. Its a fun place to work. Veronica worked for our wonderful friend, Dr. Veal, until he retired, and were so happy she joined us.

Jon has worked in orthodontics for a few years but started working with us in 2016. He chose orthodontics because of how involved he gets to be with the patienthe enjoys helping the patient and working up to a goal together, that this office feels like a family not just with the staff but patients as well. Jonathan was born in Santa Barbara, but raised and currently lives in Ventura. When hes not at work, you can find Jon at the gym or at car shows with his family.

Pamela joined us in 2016 from the Oxnard College Dental AssistingProgram, where she learned excellent patient care and technique. She enjoys the detail-oriented work that she gets to do in orthodontics, but her favorite part: We honestly have the best patients! Pam grew up in Oxnard and loves being outdoors, swimming, playing water polo, and trying new restaurants. We love Pams fun and positive approach to work and life!

When Dr. Lee says we, its not because he has a mouse in his pocket. Its because this whole thing was built together with this woman. Married while undergrads, Debi graduated first and worked in health benefits consulting for several years while her husband did his dental and orthodontic training. His last day of school was on their 10th anniversary. Debi left her consulting job when their first children, boy/girl twins, were born, only to return to work with him when construction started on their first office in 2012. She now does much of her work from home, but she says that when she does come to the office, it always brightens her day. Its impossible to be grumpy when you hear good music and laughter throughout the office. Plus, the orthodontist is super handsome.
