An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Oxnard Modern Dental is a great place to take your family to get dental work done. My favorite staff that works there would be Maria . Maria, is amazing, wonderful and respectful person towards her staff and the patients. She also, so much patience for individuals that have special needs like my twins. Maria helps us feel comfortable all the time when were at the office. Thanks, Maria for what to do the us and the Dental office.

I love my orthodontist I am So happy with teeth. I have referred a ton of my school friends there. I am also very happy with Dr.A he's so kind and patient. The team is amazing! Highly recommend it.

I want to thank Nancy for being so friendly. My mom came in scared because she is not a big fan of the dentist but she made us feel welcomed & safe. Her treatment went smooth & we will be coming back! Thanks to all the staff & the Dr. You guys are awesome!!!!

Very happy with the staff at Oxnard Modern Dentistry. The doctors are caring and experienced. I never am left in the waiting room. The hygienist always asks thorough questions and reports to the doctor before the exam, saving me from having to repeat everything. The front desk staff and manager Maria are always great working with my insurance to get me the best possible price for the services that were done. Highly recommend this facility for any dental needs!

This office is great all across the board. I started Invisalign with them last year and my experience has been nothing but amazing. The staff is very friendly and professional, and they take their time answering all of my questions and concerns. I called the office with some questions regarding the billing process, and Denise answered. She was very professional and helped answer all of my questions that I had, and she went above and beyond to take care of everything that I needed. The orthodontist, Dr. Khorshad, is great as well. He takes his time with answering any questions that I have, and he makes sure that he's completely focused on what he's doing during the procedures. One of the assistants, Mharji is friendly and professional as well. I was a bit nervous before a procedure, but she answered all of the questions that I had and it helped calm my nerves. I really appreciate all of what they do at this office and I'll be coming back here for a while

I came to the office with pain years ago and they became my office of choice. When I came in I was greeted by Maria. From the initial visit to now I am so pleased. Maria is a person who makes you feel Comfortable & understands financials. I sat there with her and not only did I get a new crown but a smile generation credit card :).

Rude and Disrespectful. My 12 year-old is there to get braces put on. They are twenty minutes late for his appointment and then I get called back by the hygienist to be berated for the fact that he "isn't brushing right". No niceties or introduction or anything, just straight into yelling at me like I am the one who brushes his teeth. My blood is boiling, I am so angry. I am NOT paying thousands of dollars to be in an abusive business relationship.

Let me start with the office.... the office is located at this plaza very close to the freeway, easy to access..... staff are beyond nice, welcoming and warm the office is well-design and clean...Dr Maral Khazali is one of the greatest dentists I've ever met... Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I had to do some cosmetic work done which I was very sensitive and picky about, did a lot of research and I'm so happy with the choice I picked... so happy with my smile.... Dr.Khazali is so compassionate and address all your concerns patiently... She does make sure that you get a great service and you leave the office with 100% satisfaction... thank you so much for the most amazing experience

Everything about this place is pleasant. Everyone is friendly and professional. Office is very clean and welcoming. I really liked the fact that the dentist who was going to be attending me sat w me prior to my general exam and explained his process for my exam. Highly recommend this office.
