I have had many patients ask me through my years in dentistry, how do you do what you do? To many people, working in the mouth, and not only working in it, enjoying and loving my work, is something they cant quite understand. And after some self reflection, I have come to the the realization that my passions in life are perfectly suited for my calling to be a dentist.
Art, science, and people. Thats is the gift that dentistry gives me everyday. For as long as I can remember , I have always loved art. Some of my earliest memories are me with a pencils and paper drawing. Then, as I went through school, I discovered I also had a natural inclination for science. Friends of my familys were teachers and would give us old text books, and I would spend afternoons looking through them learning about what lightning is or how flowers grow. That love for science and art is a great foundation for dentistry. But it wouldnt mean as much without my third love, getting to work with people.
Stacy enjoys spending her time away from the office with family and friends. She also loves to be outdoors and stay active, from biking to snowboarding to spending countless weekends at her familys cabin on Leech Lake. She plays kickball, softball, and even competes in half marathons around the country. She has a passion for music especially classic rock. Stacy is always planning her next trip, aspiring to visit as many countries, states and cities as possible.

They really scrambled to get me in when my implant fell out the night before a trip. And they were very thorough about fitting it and trying to avoid future issues. I got lucky with the scheduling- but appreciate their care about getting me fixed up before a trip.

Very nice and capable dental assistant (couldn't think of right word). She found a small cavity at the gum line that could have led to more trouble. Like the dentist also.

Enjoyed meeting the staff and my new dentist today. They were courteous, informed and willing to discuss options for treatment. Also, and this is a big plus for me, I was able to secure an appointment quickly.

Dr. Sara Fam and her team are the absolute best! I'm so happy I found this dental office. They truly care about their patients and they go above and beyond in every way. They love what they do and it shows! Highly recommend this office!

Love this place. Exceptional work and great people! I always recommend OFD to whoever asks Edit... I had a root canal done by the previous owner. I just had a check up with pain in said root canal. Now, I am being forced to pay for a second root canal at a specialists office. On the same tooth! Are You Kidding Me?! Edit Edit. Sara came through for me. She tried to fix the tooth this morning by squeezing me in and I really appreciate that! Ended up pulling the tooth and will be having to put a replacement in once it heals up. She did this no charge to me. Glad they stood up and helped me and now they have a family of customers for life.

Crown happy dentist? was told I needed a crown. saw 2 other dentists for a 2nd opinion. i guess eventually I will ( told I have a couple years). which I will take. original teeth are better in my opinion and I want to keep them as long as possible. Im going to miss the nice staff, but have to find a different place that deals more with the current situation and individual. I understand attendance might not be the best for most people. maybe some see the dentist only every 2 years and the situation i found myself in would make sense for them. I also hear that different dentists have different opinions on how to treat patients. but why? either the teeth need work or they dont. Are there 2 different ways to read an xray?

Made an appointment here on the recommendation of a friend after many years without a dentist visit and my anxiety was extreme. Every staff interaction was welcoming, friendly, and compassionate. I've visited 3 times in the last couple months and their professionalism and friendliness has lessened my anxiety greatly. Very glad I took the advice to visit Dr. Fam et al at Oxboro Family Dental.

Everyone at Oxboro Family Dental is just amazing. Every time I come in I never feel like I am just another client to them. You feel so welcomed the second you walk in the door. The work they do is just as amazing as they are. They are great at explaining procedures and making sure you are comfortable. I love coming to get my teeth cleaned and not once have I ever left there dissatisfied.

Went into get a usual cleaning, and everyone was a nice as they always are, Stacy was my tech for my cleaning on this visit as she was for my last cleaning, super friendly, easy to chat with, asked how things were, and even remembered I had a knee replacement about a year ago, and asked how that was doing, she's good at her job, very thorough, and also set up my next appt. For some more extensive work, but they always make you feel welcome there

Dr. Engan explains treatment options to his patients in great detail. He is very experienced in general dentistry, installing crowns, performing root canals, and installing implants using modern equipment. His staff are friendly and professional.
