Dr. Matthew Walla joined the Owl Orthodontics family in August 2010 and became the leader of the practice in 2019. He is originally from Indiana (go Hoosiers!) and grew up in a small town near Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Walla received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Indiana University before earning his dental degree from New York University, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class. Dr. Walla continued at NYU to complete a two-year post graduate program in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. When Dr. Walla isnt at the office, hes spending time with his wife, Liz, and his son, Ethan. He enjoys listening to music, reading fiction, and snowboarding.
Dr. Shaheen Youssef joined the Owl Orthodontics team in 2021. Originally from Long Island, New York, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Studies from Fordham University in New York City. From there, Dr. Youssef pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating magna cum laude, and then completed a one-year post graduate certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UB. After practicing as a general dentist in New York City, he completed a three-year orthodontic program at UB, receiving a Certificate of Advanced Study and a Master of Science in Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and UB Dental Alumni Association. Dr. Youssef enjoys marathon running, traveling the world, and exploring different cuisines.

Invisalign Teen patients wear each set of aligners for about one week, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As the teeth are moved gradually, patients graduate to new aligners that push the process alongall under the careful watch of our Invisalign-trained orthodontists.

Had my Invisalign here, awesome experience. The doctors are the best around and the staff is really helpful. When I needed a new retainer 5 years later they were able to help me! Definitely recommend.

Super awesome care! Super friendly staff... although I never get the name of the person working in my daughter sorry!! Not that it matters because they are all great! We just started the journey, but I'm confident we will love the outcome!

We see Dr. Walla - he's wonderful with kids & great at what he does. So far the experience exceeds our expectations - my daughter's smile is really looking beautiful, and corrections made are ahead of schedule.

My daughter broke a bracket at school. When I called, the receptionist asked how long before I can get my daughter there. As soon as we walked in, they called her back and fixed the broken bracket. I am loving the fast friendly service!

I have taken two of my children to Owl so far for their braces - and am about to embark on my 3rd! My two older ones have the most beautiful smiles now - and they started out with some pretty crazy crooked teeth! My experience with Owl has been so positive. The staff is so friendly and professional. Scheduling is so easy - and we never wait for more than 5 minutes. They are able to fit us in for emergencies whenver we need them - and they are always flexible with scheduling. We have never had one single problem and my kids are very comfortable going there- and are so happy with their smiles! And, believe it or not, my little one can't wait to get her braces! :)
