Dr. Matthew Walla joined the Owl Orthodontics family in August 2010 and became the leader of the practice in 2019. He is originally from Indiana (go Hoosiers!) and grew up in a small town near Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Walla received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Indiana University before earning his dental degree from New York University, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class. Dr. Walla continued at NYU to complete a two-year post graduate program in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. When Dr. Walla isnt at the office, hes spending time with his wife, Liz, and his son, Ethan. He enjoys listening to music, reading fiction, and snowboarding.
Dr. Shaheen Youssef joined the Owl Orthodontics team in 2021. Originally from Long Island, New York, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Studies from Fordham University in New York City. From there, Dr. Youssef pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating magna cum laude, and then completed a one-year post graduate certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UB. After practicing as a general dentist in New York City, he completed a three-year orthodontic program at UB, receiving a Certificate of Advanced Study and a Master of Science in Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and UB Dental Alumni Association. Dr. Youssef enjoys marathon running, traveling the world, and exploring different cuisines.

Invisalign Teen patients wear each set of aligners for about one week, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As the teeth are moved gradually, patients graduate to new aligners that push the process alongall under the careful watch of our Invisalign-trained orthodontists.

I am extremely pleased with Dr. Wright and all of the staff. Very warm, caring, courteous and always has convenient appointments available due to the many locations. Dr. Wright and his staff always take the time to talk with me about my daughters progress. I was with another orthodontist for my older daughter who I was not satisfied with nor would I recommend them but I would highly recommend Dr. Wright.

Owl Orthodontics is a fantastic place to have your ortho treatments. My son's appointments are always prompt. I don't think we've ever waited more than two minutes for him to be called back. Getting appointments scheduled, at the office you want them scheduled at is a breeze. Very flexible, and great staff! We love it here!

My daughter was seen by the doctor within a few minutes of arriving for her appointment. The doctor and assistants talked to my daughter (not just me) when explaining what was going to be done that day and in the future. All of the office staff I encountered were very pleasant and accommodating. We've been seeing the doctor over several months for evaluations, but my daughter just had her braces put on this week. We've had a very good experience so far!

Great staff, convenient hours and locations. I have two children and each had an individualized program. I did seek another opinion that was recommending the standard braces for both. Dr. Wright's approach in creating their beautiful smile seemed to be a no brainer. He was using different appliance for each child leading me to believe that he uses the most advanced and current techniques that were better suited in correcting their bites. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Wright and his staff.
