At the age of 13, Dr. Ai Vo moved from Da Lat in Vietnam, to Silver Spring, MD with her parents. She graduated summa cum laude from University of Maryland Baltimore County with a B.S. in Biology and immediately was accepted to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. The seeds of her love of dentistry were planted early her first job was at a dentist office the summer she graduated from high school; she continued to work there throughout college.
After graduating from University of Maryland, she completed her Residency Program at the VA Hospital in Baltimore. As part of this competitive program, she received extensive training in implant surgery and implant restoration in addition to all aspects of general dentistry: cosmetic veneers, oral surgery (extraction), endodontics (root canals), restorative (fillings), fixed and removable prosthodontics (crown and bridge), and Invisalign (clear braces).
Dr. Vo is dedicated to providing the best and most comprehensive care possible. She invests time in continuing education and is expanding the practice to offer more techniques in-house, including sleep apnea treatment, enhanced cosmetic options, and same-day dental implants. Dr. Vo is currently pursuing a mini-residency in sleep apnea treatment using oral appliances in order to provide more robust care for her patients. Dr. Vo is also planning to further her training on full-mouth rehabilitation and occlusion through advanced continuing courses.
Dr. Vo is recently married to her husband, CJ, and the two of them enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and other outdoor activities they can do together. Dr. Vo is also an avid traveler and loves to discuss her travels, food, and pop culture. She cant wait to meet you!

This was really a good place to go in the beginning. Not pulling the race card but every since their was a new dentist (an Asian lady) I felt like I did not belong one of the ladies that did cleaning on my teeth I felt like she was tring to kill me and every since I complained about the situation I got treated differently. One of the secretary's a black lady that been there for years is no help. Seems nice but really weird place . I can't make this up sounds crazy and I'm not even telling the whole story.

A great place to have your teeth checked and clean. Ms Iris is a professional, kind and just a great dentist. I never had a smooth cleaning like this. She's an Angel.

The back staff is amazing, but the front is disrespectful, waiting to be checked in to your appointment while someone is on facetime right in front of you is very rude and then to have explicit conversations loudly, I will be removing my family from this practice.

I have been coming here for going on 2yrs now and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Everyone is extremely friendly, from the front desk staff to the dental practitioners. They are extremely professional, personable and caring. They take their time and ensure all procedures are as painless as possible. I actually look forward to coming to the dentist every 6months! 10/10 would recommend!

Everyone was super friendly. I was able to schedule an earlier appointment due to some mouth pain. My dental hygienist was kind and made my experience better by having a nice conversation with me. The doctor was also friendly and I will definitely be back.

Dr. Vo is an exceptional dentist and her staff is wonderful and very professional. From start to finish the staff went out of their way to help me, helped make me feel comfortable, and were very friendly. The office had outstanding procedures in place to handle Covid as well. Highly recommend! 12/01/2021 Update: I've since been to Owings Mills dentistry 3 times since my last review and I can't speak highly enough of the team and the care they provide. Dr. Vo has taken the time and energy to ensure a painless experience every time and she's helped to fixed all my dental issues (cavities, annual cleaning and checkups, & new retainers). If you're looking for a great dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Vo!

Not very accommodating at all. An emergency came up causing me to have to cancel my appointment 24 hours in advance which is typically sufficient. Because I wasn't aware of said emergency 48 hours in advance, I was billed. Definitely do not plan on returning to this facility.

It was GREAT!!!! I didn't feel a thing! The technician was informative and experienced. She also had a steady and soft touch. I didn't even feel the needles and my recovery is nearly as painless.

Not recommended. I was told I had an infection, a dark patch was shown to me on an X-ray, and that I'd have to have my wisdom teeth removed. I was referred to an oral surgeon who disagreed with this prognosis. Worse, they only sent one X-ray over, which did not show the infection, so on the day of my oral surgery consultation we collectively waited half and hour to try to get through to the office by phone to have the correct X-ray sent over. Never did, had to have the X-rays retaken. They sent over one which was useless and then were not available for consultation when the correct X-rays were required. Worst of all is that I complained about a lump in my mouth which is concerning to me. The hygienist said they would take a look at it, never did. So I have to make another appointment anyway, this time it will be elsewhere.

I had a crown made at OMD and everything about the process was fantastic. The crown fits great and the whole procedure was painless. We really like Dr. Vo who took over for Dr. Brown and and they have continued to provide great service.

Great experience. Had a root canal done. Doctor Vo did an amazing job. She was so gentle, and understanding of my fears. Recovery has been virtually painless. Was the best experience I've ever had. If you are nervous about dental visits, I would highly recommend her.
