Dr. Justin Owens is a longtime resident of Denver. His family moved here over twenty years ago, and he is lucky to have them all still in Colorado. Dr. Owens feels a strong sense of community being that he grew up in Denver.
Dr. Owens spent four years in Boulder while he attended the University of Colorado and he achieved a B.A. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. It was during his undergraduate studies that he developed an interest in dentistry. One of his classmates father was a dentist. This dentist became Dr. Owens mentor and encouraged him to pursue a career in dentistry. A short time later, Dr. Owens found himself back in Denver attending the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. This program was very competitive, and at the time only accepted 36 students. After four years of dental school, Dr. Owens graduated near the top of his class and was ready to begin work as a general dentist.
Dr. Owens worked for four years as a general dentist in Aurora, CO. During this time, Dr. Owens was able to provide a wide range of treatments to his patients, including: implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, partial dentures, fillings, periodontal treatment, and tooth bleaching. This exposure to the full spectrum of dental treatment has proven to be valuable when providing comprehensive treatment to his current orthodontic patients.
Dr. Owens has a beautiful wife, Amanda, and threeactive and energetic children. Of all of his accomplishments, his family remains the one that he is most proud of. Dr. Owens loves all that Colorado has to offer. During the winter his primary hobby is telemark skiing, and in the summer he loves to mountain bike.
