Some of our staff members have been with Owens Family Dentistrysince its inception and others have been with us for three to eighteen years. We pride ourselves in having longstanding relationships with our patients and their families and also look forward to meeting new patients

Dr. Carol Owens has been practicing dentistry in Jackson Hole at Owens Family Dentistry since 1977. A Texas native, she moved to Jackson with her husband and oldest son after completing 4 years of active duty with the army in Germany. She graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX with a D.D.S. and she received her Bachelor of Science from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA .

Carol is a former member of the Wyoming State Board of Dental Examiners, and a member of the American Dental Association, and the Wyoming Dental Association. Carol enjoys spending time with her family at Jackson Lake and hiking during the summers and she enjoys skiing in the winters.

Dr. Summer Owens was born and raised in Jackson and graduated from Jackson Hole High School. Summer received her undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and she received her D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX in 2010.

Summer is a member of the American Dental Association, the Wyoming Dental Association, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews or being outside with her dog. Summer also enjoys skiing, biking, running, and hiking.

Deann moved with her husband to Jackson in March of 2019. She first came to Jackson the summer of 1998 on a camping trip with her husband and three sons. Since that trip, her family has continued to come to Jackson on an annual basis.

Her dental career started as a dental assistant in 1978 while in high school in Nevada. She later went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University of Chicago. Her majors were Biology and Dental Hygiene.

Deann is enthusiastic and passionate about many things. Topping the list is her family, her faith and the dental patients she provides care for. In her free time she enjoys swimming and running year round and seasonal sports like golfing, biking, hiking and skiing. When she is sitting still she loves to read a good book and work on a knitting project.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Sarah moved to Jackson in 1972 and has been here ever since. She met her husband Jim up the Gros Ventre and together they have three daughters. She has been working in our office since 1994 and we do not know what we would do without her! Outside of work she enjoys camping, hiking, pilates, and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.

Erin grew up in the small town of Saratoga, Wyoming and graduated from Saratoga High School in 2012. She received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice from the University of Wyoming in 2016 and recently received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. During summer months in college, she enjoyed working at a small landscape and nursery company in Dillon, Montana.

She has family on the Idaho side of the Tetons and has always loved this area. Apart from work, she enjoys running, fishing, hiking, hunting, and skiing in the winter. Some of her accomplishments include completing a full marathon and a few half marathons.

Erin is most excited to serve the Jackson community and get to know the patients of this valley. She is thrilled to be a part of the Owens Family Dentistry team and is a hard-working and driven individual that wants the best for her patients.

A true Jackson native, Nancy was born and raised in Jackson and graduated from Jackson Hole High School in 2015. She has been working in our office since 2016. You may see her in the back assisting or helping out in the front. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She also enjoys spending her time enjoying the outdoors. Nancy is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Adriana moved to Honduras when she was 10 years old. She then attended boarding school in Vicksburg , Mississippi. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Administrative Science from University of Piura in Lima. She was living in Lima working in international banking until she met her husband and got married. They decided to move to Jackson as he had lived here previously. In her free time Adriana enjoys yoga and meditation as well as spending time with her husband and daughter. Adriana is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Originally from Southern California, Sarah has been in Jackson since 2014. She graduated from dental assisting school in 2011 and worked at several dental offices there before moving to Wyoming. Outside of work Sarah is an avid hiker and has been all over the Tetons and Idaho. She enjoys spending time with her cat and dog and is expecting a baby boy in April.
